We should have listened to our gut. The location said it all. Lucy's dream spa upon first arriving seems to be a legitimate spa-decor, entrance is open, you can see into the establishment. However, once we were escorted to the back room-we were immediately told to undress. We weren't directed to the lockers or offered a robe- it was evident Lucy's isn't accustom to catering to two people that are JUST looking for a Massage.... We asked for the locker rooms and robes. They provided towels instead. The massage was good however during the massage I felt a vibration which was a cell phone which the masseuse answered provided hours and pricing. Shortly after she runs off in the middle of my massage to answer the door. EXTREMELY unprofessional!! We we're shorted on our time and will never return. BEWARE!! When I first visited Asia in particular Thailand & China, I was exposed to a new realm of hedonistic pleasures that changed my life forever. One of which was Nuru and the other foot massage. When a beautiful woman with soft hands is properly executing my foot massage, I'm lured into a surreal state of inner peace. Its impossible during the massage for my awareness to exist in the past or the future, I can only exist in the bliss of the moment. I had discovered Lucys Dream Spa months ago while driving, but I had only decided to try them out today and I'm really glad I did. Though offering both body and foot massage, I opted for my favorite, the foot massage ($39/hr special). The foot massage area has four recliner massage chairs located just outside of the front lobby area. Upon sitting on the chair, I felt like I was wrapped in a white cloud, it was super soft and comfortable. Unfortunately, unlike traditional foot massage where you receive hand, shoulder and back massage foreplay for about 15 minutes, Lucys offered none, just the foot massage. After my foot soak was finished my attractive masseuse Yen dried my feet and used an electronic control to recline the chair while a cushion-y lift popped out to raise my legs. I thought I was going to be able to catch up on some reading on my tablet while getting the massage, but Yen had other plans for me. Yen massaged me as if I had been her client for many months. She executed the massage exactly how I love it. She used Swedish like strokes from knee to ankle applying varying stimulating pressures. Her hands danced with my toes and soles of my feet in ways they had not been before. Within 10 minute's of the massage I was slipping into a calm blissful state. I wasn't able to continue to read, as tranquility overcame my mind. I could barely maintain a waking consciousness, as I was caught in a nexus between Heaven and Earth. After the massage had concluded, my consciousness slowly re-emerged into a waking state. I was extremely relaxed and pleased, yet somewhat annoyed the massage had ended lol. I could have stayed there for hours. I'm definitely going return to see Yen, even after the $39/hr special expires. TIPS -they have a special for $39/hr foot massage, the regular price is $59/hr -take advantage of the shower & steam room that comes complimentary with any purchase -bring a pair of ear plugs or a head set to to listen to music on your phone during your foot massage, so you won't be disturbed by chatter at the front desk etc. -they have a couples massage room. -they take CC's including Amex and they don't add the annoying $2 credit card use fee. -they offer free coffee & tea. -they have free WIFI. Hubby wanted to try out this place for massage after I read aloud Mr. Sean's intriguing review. Lol! All I wanted for myself was a little foot reflexology special. Little did I know my technician would be .......Lucy.......... I reclined in the cooshy recliner she sat me in. She was running around a bit tending to a stray customer, answering the phone, helping the one other technician who she said was relatively new.....I really didn't mind since we did just show up out of nowhere.....but I didn't know it was .......Lucy....... After having me soak my feet in a plastic lined wooden barrel (nice sanitary practice), she settled in, asked me a few questions, and instantly assessed the foot massage would be worthless. In her best broken English she pretty much explained to me in biomechanical terms that I needed to be on a table and if it didn't help me, it would be gratis.........oh ok, lady I'll take the up sale....still not knowing she was the "real deal".......Lucy. "Lucy!" Someone called out to her midway though my session. I was happy for the break. THE Lucy, I thought....wow! Like Sean M. described in his review, the pain was sometimes intense and almost unbearable--she did ask throughout the session my pain threshold status, consoled my moans, but I knew it would be happy times when it was all over. After a massage filled with intense acupressure, Thai-like massage, deep tissue, rack torture...just joking, I was a bag of muscles and bones.....please put me in a tub, Miss Lucy, I whispered. There is a room with two tubs, so hubby also enjoyed a soak simultaneously--they do have a room divider, the tubs were lined with plastic. We got a tea soak, she showed us how to rub the large tea bag on our skin for mild exfoliation. There are lockers, one toilet/one shower steam room areas, one designated for men and one for women. Very modern and cleanly designed. You get robes and slippers. Much like any small boutique hotel spa or stand alone I've been to. Lucy is amazing, I feel sorta bad for her technicians who work in her shadow, although hubby did say he had a phenomenal experience with Jessica. The place was spotless and smelled fresh. Each room I saw was simple, yet neat. The towels smelled fresh, nothing overpowering or millionth-wash funky. I am an old pro re a variety of massage techniques and have never found one to cure my chronic pain....UNTIL YESTERDAY! Lucy employs a unique method for clearing one's Chi, which may sound hokey - but, I can assure you that you will leave feeling amazing! I have had surgeries, pain blocks, etc... I had an unpleasant experience from the start. 1) She uncovered me when she walked in and then argued with me about being partially covered!!! That is unethical in the industry. I'm a massage therapist of 11 years. 2) She spoke about my uterus and how it was not healthy for children! So unethical is the field! 3) She did not address my PHYSICAL ISSUES much at all. Was mostly weird talk about my pain and connection to emotions. 4) She disrobed me several times until I basically just gave up. I felt bullied into being completely naked! After too much time being exposed and touched in a way that made me feel uncomfortable performing mostly abdominal work, I just covered myself and said I don't like this. Then she was upset with me and said "What do you want the?" 5) When she did the actual bodywork it hurt! Too much poking pressure in sensitive areas such as my arms and small muscle attachments in the legs. 6) She answered the phone during the session and chatted with a friend about school and dinner plans. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by what I found at Lucy's. I was greeted by a very nice woman in the lobby, who showed me to their MENS LOCKER ROOM. It had a very nice sauna and shower, and lockers to store your things. I changed out of my clothes and into a robe and found my massage room #3 quite easily. My therapist was very thorough. She told me that every muscle of my body was tight, I knew this cause I had been doing long hours in the salon. The massage was amazing her pressure was insane. This place can be hard to get through cuz it's 441. Cars are everywhere! Even tho their prices are bit pricey but they know what they're doing!!! My mom went to so places to find the right ones. My mom is really really tense and needs more than an hour and half to get some loosen out. Most of the places can't do that or it's not enough BUT this place can! My mom said they hit all the right spots and feels so much eased. I never heard her saying all these happy sayings and being relieved when she comes out from a massage place. You know this place is it when she's saying that! There is a waiting room for those people who waiting and not getting a spa treatment. While I was waiting for my mom, one of the staff showed me around the place. Everything is made really nice and seems so relaxing! I'll come here and get a message one day. My mom is always first for massages cuz she needs it more. Rooms with numbers are the massage rooms and one facial/waxing room. There's one room that leads to lockers, shower, an sauna/steam room for women. Other other side, it's the same but for men. There's one room that they do deep clean on your back. You lay on this table and they wash you down your whole body. There's another room that has two wood bath tubs for you to relax, soak up with nice (something they put in) water and you can have flowers but they are charge extra. After you are done with your massage, or soak bath or back table, you can shower there and use the sauna/steam room. If you want to use sauna/steam room, please mention that you want to do it so they start it up for you. Okay, let's talk about prices. I know what you are thinking, so pricey right? But if you get amazing massage that hits all the right spots, it's so worth it! If you think about it, massages are usually not cheap. Facials and waxing are bit pricey. I would go somewhere else for waxing, and I don't know how their facial is like. I noticed that one guy came here to give are and didn't like the price but he still went for it. He got the hour massage. When he came out, he was so relieved and told me I should get one too. He said it was really good. There is a membership here; 6 month membership or 12 month membership. My mom got the 12 month one. With membership, you are paying less! I recommend getting a membership if you are planning to come more than three times. read more

So as the others on here, I was a bit skeptical about the fact it looked a little "sketchy" from the outside. But, you step in, and....beautiful! The lady that greeted me was very nice and helpful. She lead me to a locker room which had a shower, toiletries, shampoo, conditioner...the works. Then lead to a massage room where the magic began. I don't remember my therapist but she was AWESOME!! She was so good I feel asleep and she had to wake me up to turn over. The only complaint (not enough to decrease stars because I improvised) is that they need bigger towels for larger sized guests, such as myself. WORST wax of my life. If I have negative stars I would give. I had a Brazilian full wax. For $45 (more than the website says $30 but they charged me $45) it was a Latin lady waxing me, them a Chinese lady would come in and out of the room and staring at my private parts. Them comes Lucy (the owner) and starts telling Latin lady she is waxing me wrong. Lucy burned me, my private areas are all burned and hurting like hell. I'm Brazilian and have done a billion wax before. This lady had no idea what she was doing, inappropriate and rude. Couldn't hate more. Never coming back. All i can say is wow. Went in this place to just check on prices to see if it compared to my massage envy membership. They were real close, so being the new place i wanted to try it. The guy at the counter was real nice and helped decide which "session" i would get the most out of. He assured me it was a better massage than what i was getting anywhere else... So i have a shot, what's the harm. I actually got the owner Lucy personally (to my surprise it wasn't just a worker) I showed here the knots and where my shoulders were jacked up. Did some reflex therapy or something "trigger" something... Whatever it was in about the first min or so i felt all my shoulder pressure just disappear. She continued to work on rest as routine massage. After my hour was up i felt like jelly. I sat up and basically felt like i was on vacation. So since my visit i have canceled my other membership, got theirs thinking i hit the jackpot told my girlfriend about it. So she went and got a foot massage and a informed me her next "wax" is scheduled. I think she is as happy as i am this place is finally open. This is definitely our one stop "spa". Finally a REAL spa!!! I cant tell you how many oriental massage "spas" my boyfriend and I walked in and immediately out of before luckily coming across Lucy's. So glad we did. We both enjoyed a good reflexology foot massage for $39/each and the spa was bright and clean and the technicians were pleasant and professional (1 male and 1 female). I discovered Lucy's Dream Spa over a year ago. Totally amazing. Lucy gave me the best body massage ever. I had so much energy afterwards that I cleaned my house for days. My wife and I noticed this spa as we were driving by and had to stop and check it out. Super nice place! We both scheduled a tub soak - individual, new, spacious modern wooden tubs complete with a new plastic liner each time, your choice of lavendar or rose fragrance/oil added to the hot water, and a complimentary bottled water or hot tea. The tub soak can be either private or couples can share a room. So relaxing with soft asain music. The spa is new, modern, clean, asthetically inviting, quiet and relaxing. Very reasonably priced as well. Then my wife got a 90 minute deep tissue massage...the best she has ever had! So healing and therapuetic. I scheduled my 90 minute deep tissue massage later in the week, and I can't stop talking about it! Lucy is awesome and her massage speaks for her experience and her dedication to helping others. She is the best, and that is spoken from a couple who have had many massages over the years to help cope with our stressful jobs. This is now our only place to go for pampering and healing.
