We each had ice cream with Jelati which was so refreshing and very different than what you'd find in most ice cream shops. The flavors are very unique and they have wonderful mix ins which I must try next time. Since my son ordered for me and this was spur of the moment I just had ordered pretty basic. Basic but I have to say still different than most other brands still. My Jelati was cheesecake and it was indeed fresh, tasty and fabulous! My ice cream was chocolate and the same as it was scrumptious! The two flavors swirled together were outstanding but if I would have known more about the place and looked at the menu I would have added some mix ins ! Honestly I may have tried one of their other flavors because they all seem so different and outrageous. We had it delivered and everything went splendid but I'd love to go and have a visit and the experience of seeing Jeremiah's for myself. From day one, the owner has made us feel welcomed, remembered, and truly part of his world, and that level of hospitality is something you can't manufacture. It's real, and it's why this place stands out. The gelato is on another level entirely. I've traveled, tasted, and tried gelato in major cities and abroad, and nothing (absolutely nothing) compares to what's being crafted right here in our growing Ocala. The flavors rotate constantly, keeping every visit exciting and perfectly matched to whatever mood you're in. Each batch is rich, smooth, balanced, and made with a passion you can taste. We've never left with a single regret, only smiles and that satisfied "this hit the spot" feeling. And honestly, the gelato here deserves worldwide recognition. It's that exceptional. But what truly elevates La Dolce Vita is the owner himself - someone who cares deeply not just about his shop, but about the people who walk through his doors. His pride, kindness, and consistency have created a place that feels like home for so many of us. Ocala is lucky to have this treasure. Thank you to the AMAZING owner who has poured years of heart into serving this community. This is a must‑visit, a must‑return, and a place that continues to set the bar for what great gelato (and great hospitality) should be.

I just don't understand why everyone but me is raving about this place. My friend went in to order sfogliatelle and a black and white cookie. He said the woman behind the counter was a bit impatient with him as he was looking at all the pastries and actually shook her head in frustration. I took one bite of the cookie and couldn't eat it. Both it and the sfogliatelle had a musty taste, though my friend said the inside of the shop didn't smell musty. I wanted to be one of the ones to rave about this place. Sadly, I cannot.

So I was pretty excited to see this store when it turned up near my mom's house a few weeks ago…read more The outside of the store looks pretty nice and the parking lot is relatively clean so that gets them one star. The interior has more stuff than I've ever seen in a 7-Eleven so that gets them another star. That's about where it ends. So I spent about 20 minutes trying to pay at the pump with the app and it simply didn't work it tried seven times and multiple different credit cards and no matter what I tried it simply didn't work. They have this pop-up in the app that says so sorry this didn't work do you want us to email you, well no I don't. I would like to get some gas please. Moving onto the inside, the prices are insane. Leaving aside the incredibly annoying fact that they don't have lids to fit the big gulp so basically you can get a lid for a different size cup and just sort of lay it on top or you do without in your car which is never a good idea, for instance a 3 inch empanada is two dollars. So the girl at the counter was super friendly at the food section, very nice obviously young and she asked me if I wanted a sample which was very interesting. I will mention that everybody is friendly just like when you go to Moe's they all holler hello when you walk inside. So I go over to the food and I look at the taco options and I ordered the two tacos which is a pretty decent deal for two tacos and two sides although the sides are about 2 ounces each they have the small little spoons and they make sure that they wax the spoon on the side of the container so that it doesn't rise up over the edge of the spoon that's giving you more than the exact precise 2 ounces of beans that you're supposed to get. The tacos looked OK however as I'm standing there the girl asked me if I want queso to which I say yes. She put one tablespoon which she also knocked on the edge of the container to make sure it wasn't too full, on each taco. They also added lettuce and tomatoes. I get to the checkout register and they charged me two dollars for those 2/2 tablespoons of queso. She forgot to mention that they charge for that actually I believe they're doing that on purpose and hoping you don't notice. Some guy comes up behind her and says well it's right there on the sign and he points to a sign that's right next to the register which of course is nowhere near where you stand when you're actually ordering the food so there's no way to know about it until after the fact. So now I'm very annoyed because they literally charged me one dollar per taco for half a tablespoon of watery queso. They're supposed to have like a salsa bar but they take your food down to the checkout register before you can put anything on there so by the time you get all the way down there and wait in line it's just too much of a headache to try to go back and add things to your tacos so it was a incredibly frustrating and completely annoying visit for which I will not make another mistake like that again. The African-American boy behind the counter who was snotty about me asking the girl why they charge me $.99 each for a half a tablespoon of queso dip literally looks at me like I'm stupid and points to the sign which you cannot see from where you order tacos and says well it's right there on the sign. So congratulations Circle K you just lost a regular customer because that's sort of treatment and that sort of nickel and diamond behavior is not something that I'm ever going to support. I'll take my gasoline and my big gulp and my snack needs down the road to the next gas station who doesn't try to nickel and dime me for every single thing. They had so many people working in the place and yet most of the food bins were almost empty, it was crazy how many people were standing around behind the counter, the empanadas and corn dogs and those sort of things in the hot cabinet were all over cooked and looked like they had been there for a little while, I didn't get pictures because I was so annoyed with the girl telling me she's going to charge me almost $12 for two tacos after they are on tax and fees and charges and queso. In a gas station. ridiculous. Save your money the app is more of a headache than it's worth and that store is way too proud of their food to make it worth it.

I was disappointed with the fact that it didnt come in the cup advertised. I later saw other customers getting theirs in the advertised glass. Not a big big deal, but I wanted the correct cup. Anyway, for the app we got the chicken Nachos. IT WAS SO GOOD! Like so good. Glad they added that to the menu. I got ordered the triple dipper for my meal. I feel like you can never ho wrong with that. I got the big mouth bites with no bacon, egg rolls, and mozzarella sticks. I wanted to try the Chipotle and Nashville sauce on the mozzarella sticks, the waitress put it on the side for me. Im glad she did because I think the sauce takes away from the mozzarella sticks. I love their mozzarella sticks plain. When I picked up my sliders, I noticed bacon on the bottom of my bread, which means that they probably made a mistake and put it on the slider and then realized I didnt want bacon so they just knocked it off. Here's the thing though, there are many reasons ppl dont eat pork whether it be diet, allergies and or religion so at no point should they just be knocking it off. They need to prepare new ones. I didnt make a big deal about it though because it would have taken FOREVER to get a new one. The service was very slow. No, the place was not packed. We were actually surprised that it wasnt packed on a holiday. Service was just slow. Was the food bad? No, it was good. No one had complaints about the taste or quality of their food. My waitress, Reece was sweet. Would I go back? Yes. I just hope the service is faster, theres no pork on my plate and I get the correct glass for my drink.

Ordered simple pick up! What could go wrong? Ordered my free chips and salsa, 3 for me, salad,…read moredrink and chicken quesadillas. The other order was crispers and fries under the same promotion. Chilis has been on of my go tos for fairly consistent food. Typically at lunch I get the soup and salad or the quesadilla. The later, in the past, has been runny cheesy, good amount of chicken and I almost always bring 1/2 home. This one was anything but. Obviously lack of qc in the kitchen, this should have been dumped. To tart with all the chicken was scooped into one section, not spread out. There were many pieces with no chicken while 1 or 2 had the bulk... the rest was a joke. The quesadilla itself was overcooked and almost crispy but soggy in parts, forget the cheese, overcooked possibly but almost uneatable definitely. Saw, I'm assuming the microwave for way too long ...should have been redone. As for the crispers and fries, next time I'll order the kids meal, it's bigger than the servings received! A disaster totally unnecessary. If we dining in, we would have had recourse, but who there cared what the unknowns at the end of the online order got! Will be awhile before I make Chili's a go to!
