this place is a sleeper. looks like it won't impress you but the ladies there know their stuff. they are older ladies if that bothers you but for me i come to feel better and they don't disappoint. Very reasonably priced and a simple shop with little extra going for it. if you are there for ambiance this is not the place, but if you want a great massage you have found the right place. one of the best massages of my life (and i have had a lot) was from a tall older lady here. I have been coming here for a year now and always have a good experience. They always have you pay up front which I don't mind. Today after finishing my massage I asked the lady if I had to sign the receipt to tip to which she said she had to run my card again. She asked how much I wanted to tip and I said $5 as the massage wasn't all that compared to other times. She started laughing and said "just $5 not $10" I said no. She then asked if I didn't like the massage. At this point I was in disbelief that she was laughing in my face. I straight up said that tipping was optional and that she was being rude and walked out. I called back and asked to speak to the owner or manager and of course she answered and said "we busy" and hung up on me. I have been going here since I moved to Camarillo (5 yrs) it's efficient and a great deal price wise. These ladies are strong. It's hard to communicate any special requests but I find that they will figure out what needs work and fix it for you you should away get 90 minutes for a good deep tissue massage. read more

We called before arriving, good thing we did because they couldn't do a walk in. When we got there an hour and half before closing time they still took us in. Private room included full body, removing your clothes, oil massage starting prone, and hot stones. Susan is a small lady but she's strong and she used her elbows and knees on my back. She pulled my extremities which reminded me of a Thai massage. I appreciated how she reminded me that I can request softer or harder or if I had any questions. After the disaster at the first place I went to, I called this place and the lady who answered very clearly told me she could see me within 5 minutes. I made it here in a New York minute. They're in a weird corner. Not gonna lie, it was a little confusing getting here. I actually ended up across the street. The nice lady greeted me at the front and led me to the room at the very back. Been going here for 10 years and was always good, but the last time was really mediocre massage and gave it one more chance to only be really disappointed! Had an appointment and still waited 35 min before being seen. During the massage the masseuse was interrupted 5 times, leaves n comes back. The massage was so subpar it didn't even feel hardly any feel the pressure from their hands, like they didn't want to be there and just wasting time on non massaging techniques to finish your hour. PLEASE DONT COME HERE! If I can rate this zero stars I would. I came here with my sister to get a massage and we picked the $50 private room and we waited for 20 minutes for them just to get started. When they finally came in they kept talking and their massaging was painful! After the massage I went to pay and they kept telling me cash was better and they preferred it but I only had my card. When I came home my legs started to burn and itch terribly when I went to check I saw bumps all over my legs, so I knew that whatever oil and lotion they used did it! When I called the girl over the phone she kept telling me "idk" "go to hospital" after her rudely disregarding my situation I told her that I wanted a refund or if I do go to the hospital I was going to send her the bill and she hung up on me. It had good and bad reviews but I have nothing but good things to say. I have trouble with her name (apologies) but I'll work on it, as I'll definitely be back in a week or two. She knows her stuff. I've had a lot of body massages in my life, but never one quite as strange as the one I had today at Lucy's massage. I went in with my best friend Vickie so we could each have a full body massage. Unfortunately, the staff speaks very very limited English, so that was my first clue. Things wouldn't be great. The masseuse took 20 minutes to come into the room, and while the massage started pleasantly enough, it quickly became apparent that she was not a full body masseuse. She did not have any kneading or massage experience. To the contrary, all she did was use her elbows and forearms to "massage" my back. She did not massage my neck, or my arms or my legs. Nor did she turn me over to do my front. There was no hand massage, there was no foot massage, there was no leg massage. It was really quite the most bizarre experience I've ever had getting a full body massage. I would not recommend Lucy's to anyone based on my experience today. my friend Vickie did enjoy her massage, and together we figured out that while she had a true masseuse, I was serviced by one of the chair masseuses, not a full body girl. I can recommend several other places that charge the same $60 for a much better full body massage. I like "Cosy" massage on Arneill and I like "Happy Feet" on Daily. I have never had a bad experience at either of those places. I will not go back to Lucy's ever again. read more

She answered 6 calls during my massage, left the door open during the massage while I was naked on the table, rubbed me down with sandpaper towels, had horrible bedside manner, was rude for speaking up about her hurting my spine, she doesn't care if you're enjoying it. The quality of her was extremely poor. The massage was rough, fast, rushed, and unskilled. She also cut my time early and tbh i was happy to get the fuck out of there. I wasn't relaxed not fucking once during my massage. I don't know why they even have any good reviews because I couldn't find one redeeming quality about the entire place. WALK-INS ONLY. APPOINTMENTS NOT HONORED. So, I just left the shop after being told I had to wait 40 minutes for my appointment. I scheduled it 4 hours ago and came 5 minutes early, only to be told they had bumped me for a walk-in who had come 20 minutes before I arrived. This is the third time this has happened. Not much ruffles my feathers (I guess that's why this has happened to me three times), but I'm pretty annoyed. The women who work here are generally good, but scheduling is very unreliable. If you are willing to call last minute and come in right away before someone else gets there or just show up as a walk-in and wait until they are finished, then you will probably have a good massage. If you need to plan your day or like to look forward to something, definitely go somewhere else. It's so disappointing and frustrated to be treated like that. I like to give people a chance and understand that mistakes happen, but I now realize that this is how they do business. It's a deal-breaker for me and for most adults with busy lives. read more

Went there with my husband for a relaxing "couples massage." As soon as we walked through the door the lady at the front asked us for our payment. Which I thought was kinda weird. I've never been to a massage parlor where they ask up front for payment. Oh well, we paid and then they took us to a room where they had two beds. So, I have to say that I have been to Lucy's now about 4 times and this review is long overdue! I guess I just wanted to make sure my thoughts were accurate and they weren't one off situations. Anyways, this place is bomb! Every time I go in there the massage is a little different but very welcomed. I think I figured it out, they searched for problem areas and attack them... working out knots where ever they find them. I have been to many of these type foot massage places in the past and this is by far one of my more highly recommended places! A one hour table massage is $40 (not bad at all especially for what you get) and deep tissue is not a problem here!!! These ladies have the strongest hands... stronger than most places. I especially like that they have the overhead poles so that they can walk on your back at the beginning to losing things up before they put the oil on. They also do hot stone for a nice touch. But I come for the deep tissue and knot treatment!!! Give it shot you will not be disappointed! I am a faithful yelp-er... Hardly go anywhere without first checking with Yelp... thought I would return the favor with this review! read more
