Butter chicken needs to have its own distinct smoky buttery flavor, which was missing. The kofta ball was nice. Garlic naan could be more garlicky and crisp. Aloo paratha was evenly stuffed with potato stuffing but contains ginormous amounts of whole coriander seeds. I felt they could be coarsely ground that would be best, taste wise thumbs up. The samosa had crispy covering and moist gooey potato filling served with tamarind chutney, green chutney; loved it! The yoghurt served with the aloo paratha was definitely home made, it had a layer of malai on top! Mango lassi was refreshing in the scorching sun, could be a little less on elaichi. The balsamic drizzle, one of my favorites, really added to the depth of flavor. My wife ordered the salmon which came with a phenomenal sauce. It was tangy and tasted of dill and really elevated an already flavor- packed meal. I had the Thai pasta dinner which was a fusion of Thai flavors with an Italian flair. We were there for a seminar, so we observed people in a small (there were 16 of us). I love the interior of Ernie's! It was my first time, so I was impressed by the decor and space. On our way out, there was a sign that said exit and it was the shortest way to the front door, but the same waitress told me to go all the way around. My elderly father has trouble walking so we took our time, and as soon as we made it to the front door, I witnessed a couple other people who were in our seminar go the way I had initially wanted to go, and no one told them otherwise. Overall, the food was good (my dad's friend would've liked it as a sandwich and not a "cut with fork and knife" situation) and the atmosphere was great, but the service was mid, at best.
