This location just got a remodel and it looks great! The aisles have sign above them. I also liked that they had a section of non-alcoholic beverages. It didn't seem like there were many employees there and I didn't interact with anyone specifically but I did eventually find what I was looking for. There's plenty of parking available. read more

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, The shelves are well stocked. There is a wide variety of brands available to choose from. The beer room is full of domestic brews. Craft beers include locals and beer from other areas. Huge selection of wine for everyone. They are a one stop shop with an array of bar utensils, glasses, gift bags, snacks, cheeses, mixers, sodas, and garnishes for your cocktails. One thing I find annoying is there seems to be no system of stocking the shelves within the actual alcohol types. Often takes alot of effort to find the brand name I'm looking for. Unlike Tarpon, this is a smaller store with fewer options. BUT they had a Marilyn Merlot, vintage 2016, which I purchased. But they did not have a favorite of mine (Black Cat) nor did they have Norma Jean wine, which was once stocked by Luekens' stores. That gives them 4 stars. The staff WAS helpful and friendly. Checkout was quick and smooth. The store is well lit, and organized. They do have a large stock, and excellent prices. read more

This is my first time at this location and we were looking for port wine and shiner bock, I found this place close to home and decided to check it out based on Yelp reviews! All I can say is wow!!!!! Talk about options lol! I walked in and was overwhelmed by the amount and options of wine and liquor and beer lol and I thought Texas had a huge selection! I saw some wines for any budget from 10.00 to $400! Haha I was like whoa Nelly! I was looking at everything they have and I'm not much of a drinker lol I went for my husband and father in law But I got some port wine which was really good and sweet and also some Buttery Chardonnay so once I got past Italy, Germany, and France wines, I stumbled upon the cordials and runs and sweet liquors lol I bought some Cruzan Caribbean rum to try and 99 Bananas haha, cuz why not! Lueken's doesn't have quite the selection of Total Wine, which is why I gave it four stars instead of five. That said, I'm definitely a fan! They have a solid variety of wine, beer, and liquors. Wine is arranged by region, which makes finding things pretty easy. There's a wall of single specialty beers on the other side of the building from the rest of the beer, but it's worth checking out. They do not offer kegs, unfortunately. My husband says they have surprisingly good sake options. Prices are reasonable and they occasionally have some real steals Not the fanciest store in town, but clean, arranged well with good options and good prices-- no complaints from me. read more

Well I'm done shopping here for good. This was my go-to place because they are usually friendly and prices are comparable to the big stores. Every so often they offer a coupon for $5 off which is nice. So today I went there with one of those coupons for August of 2022. Today is the last day of August so I'm just in time right? Nope. At the register I was told it expired yesterday. Really? Who sets a coupon expiration for the SECOND to the last day of the month? Why are the employees here so incredibly disinterested in helping a customer? There seem to be plenty of employees walking around but not one is interested in customer service. It's not that hard to just be friendly and helpful!! I actually dread having to shop here but they seem to be the only store that stocks what I want. read more

The Seminole store was the closest to me after moving to Pinellas from Tampa. Some of staff are friendly and helpful but most of them seem to be cold and distant. I feel this is a direct reflection of their manager who sits at the end of the counter staring at his computer screen all day. My interactions with him over the past few years have very negative. He does not believe in customer service and when confronted with sales ads he argues and does not want to honor them including digital ad coupons from the local paper which is not always printed. I have even reported some of my experiences in this store with higher management. They never got back to me as promised. I have to say that I have shopped at other Luekens store and this is not the vibe in the others that I have been to. The shopping experience has been so negative recently I have started staying closer to home and purchase my wine and spirits at Total Wine where they appreciate my business. I went into the store last night 10/27/2020 to purchase a small bottle of Makers Mark. I wanted to use my bank debit/credit card. When trying to pay for my purchase the machine would not take my card as credit. I changed cards, I used both Visa and Master Card and it would not run as credit. I know that you can force the machine to run as a credit. When I tried to do this the cleak blocked the machine very rudely and told me no. I asked why and he stated fraud, I informed him that I could verify who I was to no avail. My card is made to use as both debit and creidt and I always run as credit for security reasons. The attitude of the clerk (nite manage) was very unprofessional and my experience bad. I will not ever set foot in another Luekens store again. read more

Competitive prices and average selection. During the check out process I asked a question about cigar stock- I was immediately told "NO" we don't have that! I politely stated I was going to return to the cigar room (approximately less than 20 ft away) while he rang up my other purchases and was rudely told that my place in line would not be held and to move my selections off to the side. There was NO ONE BEHIND ME. It took me about 15 seconds to get my alternative cigar selection which I explained. The staff member literally yelled at me stating they don't hold the line because other customers are very vocal (complain) about customers who get out of line. My question is which customer do they prefer- the rude complainers or the polite customers only asking for less than a minute?? I understand that some may leave the line because they forgot something and be gone a while- but NO ONE WAS BEHIND ME! Poor customer service. read more
