Both my daughter and I were just handed our glasses without any offer to adjust them if needed. Both of our glasses were crooked on our faces. I was told it was because my eyebrows were different? Also my bifocal area on my glasses is so small that I can't use them to look at my phone. I was told that it was because the glasses were smaller than my last pair. They were actually roughly the same size but the bifocal was less than half the size of my previous glasses. My new glasses are not usable. I will see if they offer to fix them when I return this week. I will follow up. read more

Receptionist and doctors answer any questions or concerns and are friendly and patient when explaining everything thoroughly. I always feel welcomed here by all staff. Came in by a referral from a friend and was immediately blown away by how warm and inviting the staff were! The entire process from check-in, to the eye exam, to finally picking and ordering my frames was so efficient. The team was super patient with me as I sorted through the frames and tried on a handful. Some of the other staff even chimed in to help me find a frame that best suited my face shape - you can really feel the effort they put in making sure you feel comfortable in their office. I ended up loving one of the frames they suggested and even picked a pair of prescription sunglasses with their help. I have been visiting this optometrist for few years now. First time reading their reviews from Yelp. I am surprised to read the negative reviews about the doctor. I have to say he focus on his work, which is to perform the eye exam. Don't expect him to crack a joke, carry a conversation or a smile which is what I like about him, to get my eyes examined and that's it, not to chitchat. When I have concerns or questions, he had the answers for me, well explained, very professional. He is not rude at all, at least from my experience and my family's. Office staff are great and polite. I am only leaving 3 stars because the staff at the front desk were nice and helpful. The doctor, on the other hand was very unpleasant. He just seemed uninterested and was just plain unfriendly. His overall attitude just made me feel uncomfortable. Their glasses also seem very expensive and they seem to have mostly costly, higher-end frames with not many affordable frames to choose from. The waiting area smelled like poop severely as well. This was very nauseating and uncomfortable. The doctor's attitude and unfriendly nature is enough to make me never want to come back here. I wish I would've read the reviews first before coming in. It took 20 minutes to be seen even though the place was empty. A simple eye exam. The doctor was not friendly at all, and he acted like he was doing me a favor. He would tell me to read an eye chart, and when I asked him which one, he seemed to be angry. It was a terrible visit. I have been getting our exams all my life and never had an issue. Then they tried to talk me into buying expensive glasses, but I left. I will never return. read more

To begin with it was my first time there. I was scheduled 15 minutes before they were going to be going on there lunch and was completely rushed through the entire appointment. It was so blatantly obvious the doctor just wanted me out of there. Furthermore, when he took me back to check my eyes he did the glacoma test, the little farmhouse test, but didn't do the peripheral vision test. Once he took me back to his office to talk, he asked me why I was there and I had to explain myself repeatedly during which he did two light checks on my eyes and put some sort of dye in my eyes without any warning or explanation. Afterward he tells me "I don't THINK you have an infection." Well that's why you go to a doctor so that they can tell you weather you do or don't. Not to mention durring all this he didn't even know I had contacts in until I mentioned it and we had to redo everything. Afterward he told me to do all the things I said I was already doing that weren't working and I had to tell him to just prescribe me something. (My prescription was never sent to the pharmacy.) So then I asked my for my eye prescription to be told to me and also printed out but instead he rushed out of the appointment to go to lunch and I wasn't able to get either of those. Lastly I would just like to say I've never in my life written a bad review on anyone or any place , not once. But the entire visit from start to finish was completely unexceptable and I will never be coming back here or recommending it to anyone. read more

The dr is very rude and condescending! You're looking to pay $500+ for frames and if they don't fit correctly after being lensed you are just out your deposit money. When trying to figure out our options our insurance called on three way and he lied to her about what options were given to us at pick up time. I've been coming here for a year and had 2 checkups (my original visit and my annual). Both visits were pleasant. The office staff and doctor is very nice and their process is efficient. I purchased my first pair of glasses from their shop after my visit. I'm really happy with the pair I bought and how hey helped me pick a nice pair, but be warned if you purchase glasses from them be ready to spend a pretty penny (buyers remorse might come into play here). However, the products you buy there are name brand and high end...if you're loaded you'll not feel as guilty as I did. My most favorite part about this office is that they are open on Saturdays, which is nice for my work week. All in all, I would recommend this eye care center. I've not had a bad experience...if they lowered their prices a little, I might be a little more excited. read more

Meaning that he's a bit serious and doesn't small talk all that much but without a doubt, he is very knowledgeable and thorough. His staff is very friendly and makes up in professional optimism. The selection of frames is very large and goes far beyond what they have displayed. The callbacks and curtesy calls are warm and friendly. I broke my glasses over the weekend, and because everyone was closed on Sunday, I needed glasses in a hurry. I tried several places online, but the appointments were 3-5 days out on the ones i check on. I Finially chose to call LVC, because they were in Redlands, and they did not post any schedules, so on Monday morning I called them at 9:00 am to beg for any early appointment durung the week. Dorene was so nice, and understanding of my situation, she scheduled me for a 10:00 am appointment that same day. By Friday, I got a call telling me my new glasses ( bi focals ) were ready! They fit perfect! No adjusting was needed. I am very happy. I cannot reccommend this establishment enough. The Eye exams were complete, and everyone was nice, and caring. I have recommended them to all my co-workers as well. They take a lot of health care plans, and also VSP! yea! I am very happy. read more

I will never take my business here again. If it was possible to give a zero i would. When my husband went to pick up his glasses they weren't even the correct lenses and they gave him sunglasses. Then the lady had the nerve to tell him that they under charged him and he would need to pay another $130. When he told them they weren't the right glasses they said he would have to pay an addition $130 for the regular glasses. The nerve of a business to charge the customer for their mistake. Fast, easy experience! Very pleased with my visit here. The lady who helped me was very nice and welcoming. What makes this place different from others is that it feels welcoming and they're quite willing to help you. I came here to shop around for glasses with a prescription I got from another office. The lady helped me find a nice pair, went over a little paperwork and the insurance, and she said it would take 7-10 days for my glasses to get there. A week or so later, they called to inform me my glasses were ready. I went back and picked it up and had it adjusted a bit. And that's it! Easy! I can see clearly now! Will come again. read more

I've never written a bad review before but they didn't leave me many options. Unfortunately, I received glasses with a defective nose pad, which isn't a big deal it happens and I'm understanding and patient. However, the main receptionist was not accommodating at all ‍ it's been about 2 months with my frames and I've been in the office to repair them 3 different times. When I've explained to them that it's a manufacturer defect, they said my frames have zero warranty since my insurance paid for my frame. I don't completely understand that, especially considering I did end up paying a portion out of pocket for the frames as they were not 100% covered but okay... even then, she was not accommodating at all they just keep tightening the screws that are way too short for the nose pad. Anyways, it's a small issue that could be fixed so easily but instead of trying to order me new frames or even just a new nose pad she told me to "put some clear nail polish on the screw." I won't be going back there for future purchases, not because I'm impossible to please but because they just aren't accommodating. I just want to be able to see without my glasses falling off my face lol btw clear nail polish won't help the defect don't try it haha read more

I absolutely love this place, Dr. M is super nice! and very knowledgeable about his craft. At first I was a little hesitant because he was very monotonous during the exam, but afterwards he smiled and I flooded him with questions and concerns and he was soO responsive, my son had his exam afterwards, and he left the exam room in a happy mood as well, which says a lot about how the Dr treated my 10 year old. The staff is really nice too, we were in and out within 45 mins for 2 exams! And they're open considerably late for most optometry offices which made it very convenient for my set schedule. I definitely recommend Dr. M, any person who reviews this place less then good, probably came in with a stinky attitude to begin with. For my eye exam I paid cash $89 which is exactly the same I would pay at Costco, the frames here are pricey if you don't have the insurance to cover them it u can bring in your own frames and they can fit new lenses in them. WORSE SERVICE EVER!!!! First off. The Doc is VERY RUDE. Doesn't seem like he even try's to understand you vision problem. Just try's to get you in and out fast. With a BAD PRESCRIPTION. Then you go for the follow up. Same thing. You tell him about the vision problem you having. Gives you another prescription. Tells you to go back in a week. And it has been 3 WEEKS and I haven't got anything! I told him from the start I can't see. And it's been 3 WEEKS!!! So they called and told me to wait two more weeks! I got mad because I feel in danger to drive at night. And he calls me back REFUSING SERVICE because I used bad language with his desk lady. So now I have to get a refund. Witch they messed up and charged me TWICE!!!!! And go to another Doc. So it may take two or three more weeks with these BAD contacts he gave me to get another prescription. THANKS DOC!!!
