I'm having a problem with this particular pizzeria. It's been around for years ever since I was a girl and they still do not deliver to Burlington City. I don't understand this because they're only right in Burlington township. Is this discrimination? Why would they not deliver to residents that are literally down the road? I called in to ask if they are still not delivering to Burlington City. The man on the other end of the phone asked, "where in Burlington". When I told him, he said naw we don't deliver out there and hung up, without properly ending the call. I especially and confused because the new owners happen to be black, so are they aware of this pre-existing limitation and are allowing it, or do they just not know? If you cannot deliver to me on those days when I don't feel like coming out to your establishment, then I will refuse to spend my money at your establishment, PERIOD! So the first time we ordered from them we got the vodka rigatoni pizza and there was actual pasta on there like we like. It was really REALLY good. So we were in the mood for it again... unfortunately I dunno what happened when we brought it home and I opened the box, I immediately noticed there was no rigatoni. So we called right away to see what happened cuz it could've been an honest mistake but the guy answering the phone was a complete asshole. Told us that some people order with the pasta and other people don't. When we told him that we ordered from what we saw on a menu we found online last time the rigatoni was on there so we don't understand why this time it would be different. The guy was like we don't have an online menu. He had the nerve to talk down to us by yelling back, "that's not what I asked you!" Excuse me? First how unprofessional. Second, my understanding of a pizza called vodka RIGATONI is the damn rigatoni part of the name! I don't order a buffalo chicken pizza and expect not to get chicken on it! Since this was only the second time we ordered from this place. We're not sad to cross this place off our list no matter how close they are. I guess they never heard of the customer is always right. There are an even amount of pro's and con's to Luigi's. Pro's: service is quick, staff is friendly, the menu has good variety, sandwiches are decent, good with custom orders. Con's: food is inconsistent. One week we'd have a great pie, the next week it was undercooked. Fries are always soggy for some reason. Tables are rarely cleaned in the restaurant itself. You need to clean them yourself. It's good in a pinch but not somewhere I'd drive longer than 10 minutes to go to. read more

I have ordered from here a few times. I'll admit initially it was mostly out of convenience as there is nothing else near by, but I actually really like their food. Everything I have ordered has been enjoyable. The prices are very reasonable and the service is very quick (less than 15 minutes usually). This pizzeria was a great local addition. Some great pizzas (The "Margarita" and the "Old Fashioned" are our favourites) are to be had, as well as hoagies or cheese steaks on really fresh rolls. Luigi's has, hands down, the best pizza in Burlington. My husband loves the "Caprese" which is like a margherita pizza but more raw. My kid loves the Sicilian, which is yummy, and I will take pretty much anything, even the whole wheat is good. I am more partial to their pastas, like the vodka sauce that has slices of prosciutto in it. The staff is always friendly with us, but we're regulars, I could see how the girl at the counter could be a little diner-ish in her friendliness. The cheesesteaks here are truly incredible. I live close, and at this point, I've probably ordered the same thing over one hundred times in my life. A cheesesteak with extra onions, extra cheese, peppers, mushrooms, and mayo. I have tried cheesesteaks everywhere, and every single time, I have been disappointed by how they compare to Luigi's. The service is wonderful, the restaurant is spacious and comfortable, the deliveries are quick. I cannot review this place highly enough. My co-workers and I eat here once a week. This is the BEST pizza joint around - hands down. They have the best specialty pizzas I've ever had. My husband and I will make the trip from Riverside just to eat here. The service on weekdays is wonderful. On our last visit a few high school kids were hanging around inside not eating and generally getting in the way. The manager noticed the issue and told them NICELY to either sit down and order or leave because they were holding up "traffic". He handled it professionally and treated the kids like human beings! They cater high quality Italian pizzas and cuisine to our parties and I drop by on occasion to pick up a specific pizza some restaurants do not include on their menu. This place used to have better food. Now the sauce seems like it comes from a can, the bread included with the pasta is stale and the hoagies are dry and have the barest minimum of meat and cheese.
