Even the most humblest of a Philly Cheesesteak could be awarded such an award. There is nothing bougie/pretentious/overpriced about this establishment, it's staff and/or it's food. I sat there a couple bites in pondering what else I should try next time on my visit. I had the Philly Cheeseteak with sweet peppers with white American on a seeded roll. I had a philly cheese steak at a separate location prior to here, and although it was great, Dalessandros had the right balance of meat to bread to dollar ratio. I was full but content. Full but not bloated.

Not with Angelo's in town. Angelo's is by far my favorite cheesesteak. They make their own sesame rolls. The rib-eye steak is high quality. The cooper sharp cheese just marries it all together. Dalessandro's was king 10 years ago, but this is a tale as old as time, nothing lasts forever. 2016 I'd give them a 5 star, but 2026 has so much competition now it's crazy!!!!

I'm talking about Angelo's, Del Rossi's, and more new kids on the block that have swept in and took the throne. Let's be honest here, these new spots are 5 star establishments. Would it be right to give John's a 5 star when I rather eat at these other places? Don't get me wrong, John's is a 5 star for their legacy, but in the big 2026, I'll have to leave them with a respectful 4 star. Solid cheesesteak. Classic cheesesteak. I've known Mike for many years now and find it difficult to believe that he or his staff would be unsanitary. Mike and his team have worked hard to make a good name for themselves. His food is always freshly prepared and delicious. My co-workers and I frequent Mike's at least 3 times a week and Mike is always there to make sure things run smooth. I find it disheartening that a few unhappy customers would write such bad reviews. Keep up the good work and know that you are Delran favorite pizzeria! read more

I did like the Philly theme in the dining room. They also had multiple TVs throughout the restaurant with different games on each TV. This location is also BYOB which is a major plus. These pies are square with thin, ultra crispy crust and undercarriage without being too hard or burnt. I love how the pies are layered too with the cheese first and the sauce on top. You still get the great chew from the dough and cheese, but also have a more pronounced, flavor-packed bite from the sauce being front and center. We ordered 3 pies; two plain and a sausage, two orders of fries (plain and garlic parm), and chicken fingers and fries. We enjoyed everything we ordered and the pizza was just as good as it always is regardless of which Santucci's we visit. It's great having a Santucci's so close by so we don't have to drive into Philadelphia when we want one of these unique pies.
