Their pizzas and hot sandwiches are reasonable, and the staff has always been nice when I have ordered take-out. I would say that the pizza is average NJ pizzeria fare, but I do like the fact that Mike's supports local community activities and events. The location is convenient if you are stopping by the Target or PetSmart to pick something up, but otherwise the location is very strange- somewhat tucked into a corner of a strip mall. read more

I have been a customer here for many years and always loved the pie. I was so disappointed when I came here today after not having been here for a while. My mushroom and red onion pizza had canned mushrooms on it. The onions were not even cooked, and the pizza dough looked like it was the ready-made store bought kind. Every now and then my reviews pop up in a totally random spot. This is one of those times. I had their pizza while visiting a friend in the area yesterday. I was able to sample the Sicilian with pepperoni, and a plain slice from a round pie. The plain slice... Not bad, but I didn't feel like I was eating anything special. The Sicillian slice... That was quite good. For a suburban pizza place, it acquitted itself quite well. And I've had some bad Sicillian at suburban places. Mike's prepared a 12 hoagie platter for our office party. Everything was fresh, well made, on time and delicious. All conceivable condiments were supplied in plastic tubs. Very reasonable price, too. Everyone was very pleased and the food disappeared fast. read more

Feb. 17, 2014 Mike's is one of many pizza/sub shops in the area. However, their pizza is exceptionally good due to the fact that they make a thin crust. They are priced very reasonably. Another great thing they make are their hoagies and chicken cheese steaks along with the basic cheese steak. About a year ago when I had a new years eve party at my house I asked Mike if he makes up party trays. He sure does he said. I ordered a lot of hoagies of all sorts, pizzas and his homemade potato salad. We got 5 lbs of it and it was DELICIOUS...There wasn't a drop left after the party. It was the best I ever tasted. When my son was living with me he would order in a lot. Lot's of hoagies, salads and pizza were delivered to my door. That is a great place to eat and the food is delicious and very reasonable. I just recently found out about mikes and their salads are by far the best I've ever had. My favorites are the homemade chicken salad salad and the ultimeat salad. Their balsamic vinegar dressing is great. The combination of ingredients they use for the base of the salad work perfectly together. Please don't ever change your salads!! read more

I almost hate to leave this review because this place is usually on point. (Hence the 4 stars... don't want to ruin the star rating over one mishap) However, today is the exception. I would not even be leaving this message if when I called twice to speak with someone about my situation it didn't go to voicemail both times. Firstly, the order arrived at least 20 outside of the projected delivery time. This would also have not been a big deal if my food didn't arrive lukewarm. Secondly my order of fries was missing the bacon. (Who does not want the bacon?) As I mentioned earlier, no big deal if someone was available to speak to about it. I do frequent Mike's because I'm a fan of their food and their prices never break my wallet. I had a particulary good experience yesterday I wanted to post. My daughter's 2nd birthday party was yesterday and I had called Mike's the night before and placed an order for 6 pizza's and 50 wings. Everything was ready on time, everything was hot when we got it back to the house. And all of my guests told me how GOOD everything was! I had a lot of leftovers, but it worked out because everybody wanted to take some home! I definitely recommend this place (Their turkey clubs are my favorite btw!.) Great Pizza an steaks. However giving a 2 due to agreement with previous reviews in regards to cleanliness. Have observed on several occasions instances where employees have practiced unsanitary behaviors. It's even been mentioned on facebook as well, so for the owner to say it's unbelievable that someone would make that claim is somewhat ridiculous and insulting to his customers. Also, delivery drivers are extremely reckless and have been called out several times. I would recommend carry out as their food is really good. read more

I use to be a big fan of this place but the service seems to be getting progressively worse and the individuals working there are completely unprofessional. I've been waiting on my Hawaiian Pizza for about 20 minutes. One comes out and the staff begins to take slices from it. One of the girls seemed to say something and the other just shrugged her shoulders. Waited another 5 minutes. I was told the pizza's would be ready in 15 minutes. Needless to say it took about 40.
