Honestly if I could give a 0 star I would. This meal cost me $13.50, but was given not even $8.00 worth of food! I was given just enough food to cover the bottom of the bowl. I pushed the food to the side and stood my fork up to show the amount. I called and wondered if this was just a one time thing, I was told "they separate the food every day and everyone gets the same amount". Well, that's not a good answer, this means you're ripping people off. Next the flavoring! If you have high blood pressure or r are pregnant DO NOT EAT HERE! All I tasted was salt! I've ordered from here before, I can say I've given 3 chances and I'm done! The food is over priced for their product. I don't eat out often but when I do I expect the money I spend is the kind of food I get. I never have been so disappointed in a place like this. I get the economy is not great, but this is ridiculous! My money will be spent at other places; like Wawa.... It's sad when Wawa has better food (and that's a very loose term). read more

Another phenomenal homemade meal at Vinny's in Delanco NJ!!!! Tonight's Friday night special was Lasagna . The meal began with roasted vegetables in a balsamic glaze. Comprised of baby broccol, zucchini, roasted petite peppers and an aged mozzarella, this unique salad was fresh and incredibly tasteful. Moving to the main course, the lasagna noodles were thin and light. The meat sauce was a combination of beef and sausage with hints of fennel. The sauce was absolutely delicious! Fresh and full on vegetables used to sweeten it ever so slightly. This is a family run business where the customers are treated with respect and warmth. Highly recommend this gem tucked into the sole shopping center of a hidden gem of a town named Delanco. read more

Purchased 2 medium sized American hoagies recently from Vinny's. Never will again. There was only 1 layer each of ham, salami and cheese and very little tomato. They both had a lot shredded lettuce. It should have been called a lettuce hoagie. Definitely was not worth the money. read more

Best pizza ever!! I've tried nearly every pizza shop around here, and no one compares to Vinny's. It's a family business, and everyone is so nice and friendly. Delicious food, great service, friendly staff. They use fresh mushrooms on the mushroom pie, fresh basil on all pies in the summer when basil is growing. I'm truly unsure why I keep giving this place a chance. Time and time again there is always an issue. From cancelling an order and not notifying me till I call 2 hours after I placed the order. To taking an hour to make a delivery when I live LITERALLY 6 minutes from the restaurant. To today when I made and order for a calzone with no tomato sauce. I put it in the special request while picking what I wanted as well as in the special options when checking out.... and still received sauce in the calzone. I think 3+ times is a charm. First time I've ordered from here, pizza menu looked good and I have heard their buffalo chicken pie is good. I went with my own creation of eggplant, spinach, and ricotta on a red pie. I was torn between the buffalo chicken, bruschetta pie, and steak and cheese...so I just bagged all 3 haha, i figure I'll work those in at a later time. The lightly breaded eggplant with the fresh ricotta and wilted spinach was light but hearty. Pie was cooked, sauced, and prepared perfectly. Excellent distribution and amount of toppings. We showed up here unannounced with 10 teenagers and the staff was welcoming and polite. We took over 3 tables and they served all the tables nicely. The food was delicious. Seriously after this experience I will never order from them again!!! I came in to order pizzas for my son's birthday party. I enter the establishment and saw that no one was in the front to greet me. Workers were in the back prepping food. I noticed that when I got his attention he didn't wash his hands . He took my order and took payment and instead of washing his hands...he began prepping the pizza dough for my order. I immediately ask for my $$ back. He ask why and I told him that he didn't wash his hands....he said he did....with the dirty dish rag on the front counter. I asked for my $$ back again and he refused to do it because his boss was not in. I told him to call his boss in and he was reluctant. We love Vinny's! The food is only second to the lovely family that owns it! I enjoy the meatball sub and of course the pizza!

I stopped in here a few times for lunch, 2 gourmet slices of pizza and a medium soda for $6.50. Pie that I picked that day was delicious, place is decent a friendly. Only slight problem is that the slices didn't stay long enough in the oven, when I got to the second slice, it was just warm. Also, there had to be 10 different kinds of pizza when I walked in right after they opened for lunch, 2-3 slices of each flavor. I wonder if these slices were freshly made or stored overnite from days before. The case where they are displayed keeps them only at room temperature all day. It was a cold winter day and I had the urge for a killer slice of pizza. I wanted something with an ideal cheese:sauce:crust ratio (which should be roughly 1:1:1 for you novices). I went there in person for pickup and noted they had a handful of different slice pies which looked like they'd been out for a while. No difference for me as I ordered a large plain, and asked them to sprinkle some oregano/basil when it came out of the oven. This pizza was everything I needed. The crust was run of the mill, but still good and the cheese+sauce all tasted like they were of good quality, and the ratio was ideal. They have ample seating, and friendly service. Ordered a crispy chicken wrap from here today. I proceed to ask the gentlemen who took my phone order what comes in it? There was a long pause and he said "let me check". If you are working at a restaurant, you should know what you are serving. I blame this poor menu knowledge on management and improper training. This is the first thing. Second thing: the same gentlemen asked me where my food was being delivered to. I gave him the address and told him the Beverly Edgwater Park Rescue Squad. He then proceeded to tell me "is that around here"? Seriously? If you don't know where you are going, you shouldn't be delivering customer food orders. This is the second thing. Lastly, the food was ok. My wrap was falling apart as I was eating it and it wasn't built correctly or wrapped correctly. If it was, it wouldn't have fallen apart. With my food order, my wrap was supposed to come with French fries. What did I get? Stale potato chips. Upon delivery, the same gentlemen who took my order over the phone calls me and says "I'm delivering your food and can't find you". Hold up. First off this isn't any way to talk to your customers over the phone. You say "hello/hi/hey this is (name) from vinnys and I'm trying to find you. Can you give me better directions?" I dont know what happened I know as much as quality ingredients matter (Not an issue at Vinnys they are of good quality) a good pizza chef is the key to make the jump from ok pizza to good pizza. Last year my opion of Vinnys changed. I never pick- up or eat in so I dont know if the kitchen staff changed of what.
