This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. We had calamari as an appetizer and we enjoyed chicken parm and fettuccine. We enjoyed our dishes and were refueled. There was an issue with their credit card machine, but other than that everything was great!

Cannoli

Found this place by chance. Wow! It did NOT disappoint!. We had a great server (rats, did not get her name.) We were there about 4:00 and ordered the Caesar salad and split the tour of Italy plate. It was fantastic! The salad fresh, the dressing delicious. The main dish had lasagna, chicken Parmesan, and Alfredo fettuccine; the marinara sauce was great, so was the Alfredo sauce. It came with a little loaf of bread too. We also split the cannoli. The cream sauce? Mercy! So rich and yummy! We had a very good and pleasant meal and will definitely plan on visiting it the next time we are driving through the area. Price was fine and all in all, it was a lovely dining experience.

The place was clean and welcoming. The food was delicious I got the Salmon Cremore and Calamari, it came with bread and salad. The bread was airy and light and wasn't too filling. My waitress was awesome, friendly and accommodating

So I ordered 100 dollars worth of food last night. A pizza two pastas and an appetizer... this made everyone sick. My daughters only ate the dinner rolls. Seems like the food wasn't fresh.

Good Americana Italian. Efficient service. Lively homemade ranch dressing on a side salad, fresh bread. We enjoyed the chicken picatta and chicken marsala. Pretty clean. The ladies room could use a deep clean. Very well priced. Enjoy!

Worth driving off the highway a bit. A lovely small authentic Italian restaurant with very reasonable prices. Lobster ravioli is amazing!

And all us a glass of white Moscato. Perfect as always. Pasta selections for us all. Were beautiful to our eyes and as good, and better, than many places outside of NYC. My fav food place. There was only a single booth already occupied when we were seated. From the moment we entered, we got the distinct impression that we were unwanted, a burden to our server & a bothersome distraction to whatever else she had planned for her shift. Except for the calamari, the food was very good; however we had to repeatedly ask for a couple minor items, did not get waters for everyone as we requested, and frankly we were reluctant to incur our server's look of disdain by once again asking for water for those without it. After dinner everyone agreed that although the food was tasty, Antonio's would never again be on our list of favs for any gathering. Our dinner cost a total of $205 & we left our server a $30+ tip. We are accustomed to leaving 20%+ tips; unfortunately she didn't deserve the tip we did leave. Patty P - I came all the way from Colorado for this treatment?

I stopped in North Platte after driving for most of the day on my way home from Iowa. When I…read morechecked-in at my hotel I asked if there was any place I could get a steak at that hour (I mean, when in Rome?) She was doubtful because of the hour, but checked and Nebraska Rib & Chop House was still open, so I headed right over to get a steak to take out. When I got there the host/hostess was nowhere to be seen, so eventually the bartender came over to take care of me. I knew I wanted a NY strip, but my brain was too tired to make decisions about soup or salad and what kind of side I wanted, so the bartender talked me through it - they had a bison chili as one of their soups that was really good, the scalloped potatoes are one of the most popular sides but the garlic mushrooms with the steak just chef's kiss. So I went with the chili and the mushrooms, steak medium rare. The bartender offered me a glass of water while I waited and I was happy to sit at the bar grooving to the 80's tunes they had playing. My order came up quickly and I was on my way in about 15 minutes. I have to admit that I didn't really think through eating a take out steak with plasticware, but for the most part it was tender enough to work. The steak was closer to rare than medium rare but still delicious, and my pups got a few of the rarer pieces. I would have enjoyed the mushrooms with my steak more if they were sliced, but it still worked. The bison chili was indeed delicious. I'd come here again the next time I'm passing through.

Wow! I had read the reviews on yelp, but then a coworker heard I was in North Platte. She texted…read moreme that I had to go to the Cedar room! I am glad I listened! I came in, took a spot at the bar. I had great service and great conversation with the bartenders and the other patrons. The decor is very stylish with lots of cedar! They had an amazing bourbon selection. It was great to try something rare and expensive! The food was the star of an already great experience! I started with the cowboy caviar. ( country fried steak bites with gravy). They were great. Then I got the ribeye with a side salad. The salad was huge with great toppings. The steak was phenomenal! One of the top 3 ever! Super tender and flavorful. An amazing meal at a great restaurant! Do not pass this one up!

We were driving across country and decided to pull over in North Platte for the evening. I looked…read morefor a restaurant recommendation and found The Cedar Room. We walked in and there are two large rooms, one dining and one bar/dining area. There is a small bar at the far end that sits around 6 or seven people. We were sat near the window and our server was Penny who was excellent. Penny constantly checked in with us and we were never left wait for service. When it came to ordering wine/cocktails, we were immediately put off by the price of wine. The bottles have an approximate 75% mark up on retail. Way overpriced. You don't see these prices even in the most expensive of steakhouses in my opinion. A glass of wine was the price of a bottle at retail. We elected to go with cocktails. For appetizers, we ordered the Wild Mushroom Brie & Ciabatta. $19 Seared Brie Cheese, brandy glazed belle mushrooms, balsamic reduction, fig chutney; served with Ciabatta toast points. This was good. Cowboy Calamari. $19 Breaded Flat iron sirloin steak bites, fried; served with gravy. I was so looking forward to these but I couldn't even taste the meat.....at all! They were so overly breaded and the steak cut so thin that we felt we were just eating the breading. The gravy was tasty but we couldn't finish the steak bites as we just didn't taste any steak. We split a Cedar Room Wedge. $16 Iceberg, bacon bits, tomatoes, cucumbers, blue cheese crumbles; served with dressing of choice. They split it on two plates and basically did a deconstructed salad. It was fine. After not having a great experience with the food and prices of their wine, we elected to leave and skip the dinner. Although we loved our server Penny and it was a cute establishment, we probably would not return.

It was late, I…read morewas exhausted and hungry, and it was the only place open and it shared a parking lot with my hotel. I ordered a steak and I cannot state this emphatically enough, this was BY FAR THE WORST STEAK I had ever had in my life, by a mile. It was like trying to cut through a deflated football, but somehow, still raw in the middle. Not undercooked, raw. Anyway, I ate my sides and moved everything around the plate and when my server came back to drop the check, she told me that "she liked my style". So FIVE STARS!

So when my girlfriend said Applebees I thought wow I get some nostalgia from Father's Day with my dad as a kid. Let's just say the service is not what it used to be. The parking lot only had a few cars I figured get in eat get out. Apparently our hostess had a different idea. We walked in to a full waiting area and 3 families at tables. In the entire restaurant. 5 minutes goes by of this hostess fumbling her words walking around doing nothing. The family ahead of us gets seated. 5 people. They all got drinks from a waitress while we stood there. At this point there is me, my girlfriend and her 1 year old son with us, and an elderly lady by herself. We are looking at people eating in an empty restaurant and waiting for no reason. Finally she comes back after around 10 more minutes. With a bundle of napkins. Proceeds to open the package, and put them all in her work station. While telling us about it. I for one do not fucking care. I'm looking at an empty restaurant and standing here holding a kid. When she was done she says " I'll be right back I need to go clean these tables" I then asked her what was wrong with all the clean empty tables. Fumbles with her words I shook my head she walked away. I'm not sure what she did for another 5 minutes but I'm sure she didn't clean a table. They were all tipped up. Now we finally get to go sit. She asks if we want a high chair for the little kid. Yes thanks. Never brings it. Moving on I guess whatever Our waitress was very nice. The food was very mediocre at best not a shining moment. I'm not sure who makes the drinks in this place but they need a lesson. Worst margaritas I've ever had. North platte Applebees sucks don't go here
