They offer excellent service, reasonable prices, and they're fast and friendly. We've asked for specific tires, that they didn't have in stock, and they were able to have them ready the next day. Our latest visit we had all new tires put on our travel trailer. We're very happy with the service and the quality of the upgraded tires we chose. They had them all installed within an hour and we were confident with their techs not only jacking the trailer correctly but installing everything expertly. They even caught a last minute mistake they made putting a slightly different sized tire on our spare. They apologized for the mix up and had our tire ready first thing the next morning with the correct tire. We'll be back within a couple of months for new tires for one of our cars as well. read more

I went in for an alignment today and instead of letting me pay $90 for an alignment, they told me to save my money and do my alignment in two weeks when I get brand new tires all the way around. They told me I should get the alignment at that time instead. I really appreciate their honesty. Luis' Tire Service in Oregon City has been there for many years and is beloved by Oregon City. Let me show why. A few days ago, I brought my car there for air in the tires. Amado, one of the workers, put air in the tires. He inspected my tires, told me they were made in 2006 but were okay for now. Not worn down, not cracked. I told him my speedometer was inaccurate and that the man who had sold me my car said the problem was related to the size of tires and their revolutions per minute. I asked Amado to order me larger tires to solve the problem, which he did. Yesterday morning Amado telephoned me to say that the tires had arrived but that he had talked to Luis, his boss, who said it was not the tires but a sensor that regulated the speedometer. I felt bad for them ordering me tires only to say I didn't need them, so I went back to have them inspect the insides of the tires for rot. That would decide whether I would buy new tires now or not. One of the workers, Jose, took a tire from the wheel and showed me everything. It was fine, and he predicted my tires would last another six months or a year. That decided it. So: they twice told me tires were old but still acceptable, because they care more about helping their customers than making money. As a result, they stay in business, do well, and everyone loves and patronizes them. By the way, they didn't charge me for either visit. Every business on Earth should operate this way. read more

Louis' Tires in upper Oregon City mostly does new tires (and brakes et al) , but also used tires if they have your size. Super nice, and show you things you might want to know (ie how your brakes are looking) and they don't upsell you. Nice waiting room with TV and coffee, or you can walk to the mall while waiting. Both times I was there they started on my car no delay. Louis' is where I got my last two front tires. I asked if they had any used in my size and yep... two 95% new tires $60 each installed . If you are on a budget, ask if they have used in your size! Don't be afraid of used tires. Lots of people upgrade from nearly new tires because they might buy custom rims and want new low profile tires for example. Just ask. I super recommend this LOCAL business. read more

We recently acquired a used minivan. I noticed it was pulling to the left, not badly but thought I'd get the alignment checked. Made an appointment with Luis tire service. Checked in, and Jose took my key, and then returned five minutes later and told me my tires were all low, filled them up with air and suggested I take it for a drive and see if it was still pulling to the left. They do just as good work as any Less Schwab you'll go to, for 1/2 the price a lot of the time. Appointment times are quick and easy, and most of the time they have my tires done in about an hour or less. I've also started to get my oil changes done here because I just love the service. They have a great selection of used tires that are discounted at a much lower rate if that's something your interested in. Do yourself a favor and stop by or call in to ask for a quote.
