We've purchased tires from Luis' several times over the years. Originally our mechanic recommended him and told me "they're good people" so I headed over for new tires. They offer excellent service, reasonable prices, and they're fast and friendly. We're very happy with the service and the quality of the upgraded tires we chose. They had them all installed within an hour and we were confident with their techs not only jacking the trailer correctly but installing everything expertly. They even caught a last minute mistake they made putting a slightly different sized tire on our spare. This is the best independent tire shop around. Had four tires that we brought in, mounted and balanced for 98$ and that included disposal. Les Schwab wanted 240$. Service was fantastic. Luis' Tire Service in Oregon City has been there for many years and is beloved by Oregon City. Let me show why. A few days ago, I brought my car there for air in the tires. Amado, one of the workers, put air in the tires. He inspected my tires, told me they were made in 2006 but were okay for now. Not worn down, not cracked. I told him my speedometer was inaccurate and that the man who had sold me my car said the problem was related to the size of tires and their revolutions per minute. I asked Amado to order me larger tires to solve the problem, which he did. Yesterday morning Amado telephoned me to say that the tires had arrived but that he had talked to Luis, his boss, who said it was not the tires but a sensor that regulated the speedometer. I felt bad for them ordering me tires only to say I didn't need them, so I went back to have them inspect the insides of the tires for rot. That would decide whether I would buy new tires now or not. One of the workers, Jose, took a tire from the wheel and showed me everything. It was fine, and he predicted my tires would last another six months or a year. That decided it. So: they twice told me tires were old but still acceptable, because they care more about helping their customers than making money. As a result, they stay in business, do well, and everyone loves and patronizes them. By the way, they didn't charge me for either visit. Every business on Earth should operate this way. read more

Both times I was there they started on my car no delay. Louis' is where I got my last two front tires. I asked if they had any used in my size and yep... two 95% new tires $60 each installed . If you are on a budget, ask if they have used in your size! Don't be afraid of used tires. Checked in, and Jose took my key, and then returned five minutes later and told me my tires were all low, filled them up with air and suggested I take it for a drive and see if it was still pulling to the left. They do just as good work as any Less Schwab you'll go to, for 1/2 the price a lot of the time. Appointment times are quick and easy, and most of the time they have my tires done in about an hour or less. I've also started to get my oil changes done here because I just love the service. They have a great selection of used tires that are discounted at a much lower rate if that's something your interested in. Do yourself a favor and stop by or call in to ask for a quote.
