My first time visiting Luk Fu and unfortunately will probably be my last. We had a reservation for 3, upon arriving we stood at the entrance (where cued to wait to be seated by a sign) for about 5-6 minutes without being acknowledged. Once we were sat, we waited another 5-10 minutes before being acknowledged by our waitress who clearly did not want to be there. The whole experience felt rushed. She had no time for questions, as well as no personality. She'd ask our table a question, then as we were discussing it amongst us three, she'd turned around and start serving the table behind her. My receipt said her name was Elizabeth but I'm not sure that was correct. Lemon drop, no lemon. My entire glass was covered in sugar so every time I'd take a drink my hand would get sticky. The food came out quickly, so quick it beat our appetizer, which is always frustrating to me. However, the appetizer (wings) were the best part of the meal so I guess I'm glad they still came. The wings and the ambiance is the only reason I'm giving 3 stars. My meal tasted as if it came from the freezer section, P.F. Changs orange chicken out of the bag with some once frozen, still cold, broccoli, to be exact. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, I guess we'll never know. read more

Well this is a rough one after Chef Jet Tila just came through and his name is on some of the dishes, but I don't think 2 stars is unwarranted. First let me say that service was fine. Ambiance was a mixed bag, the place looked nice enough but you still got faint whiff's of smoke from the casino floor. But the main issue surprisingly was the food. For an appetizer, we ordered pan fried potstickers (that were lacking flavor) with dipping sauce (that was in small container) that we poured over the potstickers but most just ended up in the plate not the food. For our mains, my wife ordered the Beef and Broccoli, assuming this would be an elevated version... it tasted and looked like mall food court beef and broccoli for $23. I ordered "Jet's shrimp pad Thai" for $22. It seems Jet's style is near sauceless noodles with peanuts tofu and unseasoned/unseared shrimp. So I asked the waitress for some hoisin sauce so it could at least taste of something. The only redeeming item was my wife's lychee martini, which was very boozy but also super smooth and flavorful. We both agreed we could come back for a drink, but if we want Asian food, there are tons of options that give better quality and better pricing. read more

We tried Luk Fu for the first time last night. The atmosphere was pretty- decorated nicely. However, there was a smoky smell in the restaurant. Also, more importantly, our waitress service was extremely unprofessional. Upon being seated, we had to hear our waitress bitching about her job. Great! Just what we wanted to hear, when we are out for a relaxing night as a couple. Next, upon ordering wine, we learn (through more bitching) that they only have White Zinfandel, no Chardonnay nor any Sauvignon Blanc. What kind of "nice" restaurant is this??? Next, we order our appetizer and entree. After a time, (waitress no where to be found- when I need more iced tea...) our ENTREE comes out... NOT our appetizer. After eating on our entree for about 10 minutes, THEN our appetizer comes out. No apologies from the waitress. More bitching about how "crazy" the night is. Next, I need more tea. No waitress anywhere to be found. I stop another waitress and even a table clearer, and ask that they send our waitress over. Wait. Wait. Wait.... FINALLY, she appears. More bitching. I ask for tea. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Pad Thai dish was very good. Appetizer of the potstickers were NOT GOOD. Tough and chewy. Tasted frozen and then warmed.... only. YUCK. We will NOT return. read more

I came in thinking the partnership with Jet Tila was already launched (I was a little early ). I still really enjoyed the food I had here & wish I brought someone with me so I could have ordered one of the bigger entrees without wasting food. The spring rolls were fresh and the peanut sauce a little thick, but good. I loved the simplicity of the dumpling soup and the comforting broth - although I like it spicy and added a heaping spoonful of chili crisp. The server was attentive and stopped by at regular intervals. The ambiance was great and felt like I was at one of the restaurants you'd see in Vegas. The prices were about what I expected for a restaurant at a casino here. Will be back for Jet's menu release! read more

This was our first trip to Live since it opened. We had hoped they designed the casino away from the restaurants. But alas, they are right in the thick of it. And I do mean thick. Thick cigarette smoke. Some may be unbothered by it. But it made for an unpleasant dining experience for us. Overall, the food was good, tho the portions are small. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is small, but decorated nicely. Just very close to the slot machines (and smokers). read more

I decided to try this new sushi place in the LIVE! Casino. Stepping inside was a bit odd. I stood at the front waiting to be seated and several staff members made eye contact with me but didn't acknowledge me. After seating at the table and ordering a cocktail, it took 15 minutes for it to be served. Then I attempted to order the lemongrass wings and they were sold out. I ended up with the tempura shrimp rolls, not bad. Ordered the pork and shrimp egg rolls, those two mixed together were not a good idea. read more

I love this place! Food was so amazingly fresh and delicious we came here two nights in a row. Definitely recommend the rice platter options with the orange chicken having a nice kick to it. Next time I go, might try one of the noodle dishes because those also looked good. You can tell quality and speed are important here. Upon opening at 5pm, they had two sushi chefs and another 3 cooks/chef working the woks and line. Make sure to give your players card for the discount (5%) to negate the 3% fee they add at every restaurant read more

I try to keep an open mind because it's not always the servers or the kitchen .. it's the tools you're given to work with and the environment. If cigarette smoke, loud noise and mediocre food is your thing, then this restaurant is for you. There is no partition (other than a semi private wall) that separates you from the casino; hence the smoke and loud noise. While it was understaffed, the servers did their best to keep up. Food was mediocre to average and the bao buns listed on the website are not actually on the menu. I can say that it was decorated nicely .. but that's really all I've got. read more

This was our first time at Luk Fu and probably our last. Our waitress was nice and the atmosphere was pretty other than the cigarette smoke and loud noise of slot machines. I wish the restaurant was in a separate location from the casino. We ordered the crab rangoons to start. There was nothing special at all about them. I have had better ones from the grocery store. Also our waitress informed us they were out of the sweet and sauce that is normally served with them. I ordered the beef bulgogi as my main entree. I have had this dish at many other places and it is one of my favorites. When it came out me and my husband both thought it was Mongolian beef because of how bland the beef was. It had barely any sauce at all on it and the sauce that was there did not taste anything like the sauce that is normally with this dish. When we questioned our waitress about it she reassured us it was the correct dish. I was very disappointed because I was expecting it to have the same taste as the other dishes I have had elsewhere. Also, she never refilled my drink the whole meal. I honestly don't think the food is worth the price at all. Hopefully things get better and the food improves. read more

We are on vacation and decided to try it out since it's in the hotel/ casino we are staying at, however we waited over 40 minutes for our appetizer.. and received it along with our main meal. Our waitress also did not fill up our drinks, my WATER was empty for over 40 minutes, that's the bare minimum. However the casino and hotel are excellent I just wish this restaurant had more attentive staff. read more

Service and food left a lot to be desired! Was not good at all! Ordered broken rice dish and was told by the waitress " you know it's not really broken rice right?" If it's not what it's advertised to be then why have it listed on the menu that way? Then she told us that ever since the original chef left the food is not the same. The food is disgusting! They used all of our $80 food comp for $34!!! We would have never done that! They are thieves in my opinion. The food was so nasty. Menu didn't say the sushi was FRIED!
