Tried this place as we love pizza and we are trying to find our go to place around the neighborhood. This is definitely not it. We ordered a pizza with just sausage on it and when we opened the box, we were disappointed to see what looked like burnt bacon bits on our pizza. They advertise to be NY pizza and honestly, Sam's Club or Costco pizza is better. Not NY pizza at all! The guy behind the counter was also very rude. After noticing that two customers had placed their order and left with them while I was still waiting, I went up to the counter and checked on my order. His reply was "what pizza? New to the Davenport/Haines City area and decided to stop in and try Luke's Legendary Pizza. As I walked in I was immediately greeted and proceeded to place my order. I decided to eat in (which beware there are only 4 tables). I ordered two cheese slices and garlic rolls. Pizza came out nice and hot. Wasn't too impressed with the pizza. It was good don't get me wrong but nothing screamed to me "omg I have to come back here for this". Once the rolls came out I took a bite and asked myself, where is the garlic? I don't know about you but I love my garlic rolls dripping in garlic. Luke's garlic rolls were lacking flavor all together. All in all it's a great local spot to drop into but I probably won't see myself coming back here. Food was decent at best and the staff were very nice and attentive. read more

About 6 months ago my family moved from NYC to Florida and coming from New York you know we are extremely biased when it comes to our pizza. After a few months of trying to find the food spots the family loves we stumbled upon Luke's while going to the Publix. We decided to try it out we got 2 pies, French fries, mozzarella sticks and chicken sub we got home and ate and the kids could not stop raving because it reminded them of NY food. There is a handful of seating outside and inside the service is always great, they let you know your wait time so you can always go and come back. Now we're there every week ordering food plus it helps that they are New Yorkers haha. read more

Good, NYC style pizza. Crust was tasty, thin, and foldable! I shared a medium with a second person and it was a great portion for us. We also got cannolis and they were packed with flavor and still crispy. We had gotten delivery, and the only odd thing was that ID had to be checked for a Pepsi, and we got a message about alcohol delivery. Unsure if that was DoorDash or the restaurant, but it was a bit odd. Owner is friendly, and the pizza is tasty. Absolutely will be back read more

On a work/ family visit in the Melbourne area. Just got down here today at 2am after driving 16 hours from Saint Louis. Had work in Haines City about another 2 hours from where I was staying. The point of my review is to stress that I am a pizza lover, and I am not a local nor do I live in Florida. I had pizza in Nashville on the way, got a slice in Jacksonville around 11pm last night, and then today when I finished up work I searched for pizza. THIS IS A PIZZA I WISH I COULD EAT ENDLESSLY. After half a 12" I was getting kind of full even at 6'2 180lbs. However I couldn't stop, all I have left is one piece I decided to save for my mother. The flavor is extreme, I have never had mozzarella that taste so good. Everything about it was great. See photos. I ordered a CYO 12" with olive oil garlic base, red sauce, pepperoni, mozzarella. Pretty simple, but my favorite and a great measure of a pizza place. Anybody can make a specialty taste good but can you make the basics taste good too? They sure can. I am newish to NY style pizza, but it is incredible. Coming from the place where IMO's (a saint louis staple) was born, thin crunchy crust with provel cheese covering the entirety edge to edge. Not to mention square cut! Luke's would run IMO's out of business if they were on the same corner, and that's putting it nicely. -If you like your pizza crunchier have them make it "well done" -lunch specials for a quick bite (don't forget your coupon card!) -Does have room to sit and eat but everyone I seen ordering was taking it to go, not noisy, very welcoming inside Ordered at 11:23am was ready about 20 min later, ate it and I am still in the parking lot as I write this review because it is genuinely one I need to get out! Great customer service from a polite young man running the register. Made my large garden salad great and I was able to substitute things for veggies I am allergic to with no upcharge. Went to a place next door that let me submit an order online for pick up and were closed thank goodness the other place was closed! Stopped at Luke's and see if they had a Chicken Caesar Salad and they do and made fresh! I fully enjoyed the salad it was delish, thank you for saving the day and my lunch was one of the best. I never leave revies, but this pizza is really good! We just moved to Davenport and tried Luke's for the first time. We ordered a 2 pizzas, a stromboli, garden salad and jalapeno poppers. All the food was really good! My son said it was best cheese pizza ever and my husband and I had to play rock, paper, scissors for the leftovers stromboli for lunch. Decided to try this pizza place out after seeing it every time I went to Publix or the smoothie cafe. The staff was friendly. The man at the counter was multitasking between the phone, taking orders and attending to patrons at the tables but still managed to be polite and friendly as I ordered a pizza for take out. Walking in reminded me of being in NY City small family owned pizza parlor. Walk in and there's the counter. Friendly staff and very fast preparing of my pizza. So fast they took it out a bit early. Just left Disney property for an airbnb in Davenport. Our kids wanted pizza and wings so we were able to find Luke's Legendary Pizza. We made an order on doordash and received our order in about 35 minutes. Simple cheese pizza and buffalo wings for the kids were phenomenal. Perfectly crisp crust and the wings were flavorful, crispy, and not dry. Best wings I've had delivered ever. Now we also ordered a veggie pizza for my mother-in-law which did not meet our expectations. However, a quick conversation with the manager, and assumed owner, Luke had us a newly fired pizza delivered within 30 minutes. Wife and mother-in-law both were over the moon with the pizza. I ordered online and went to pick it up, when I ordered the webpage was easy to use and I was told to pick it up in 30 minutes. I paid for it online, but when I went to pick up my order there was a gentleman paying for his order that he called in. Also they advertise that delivery is available through doordash. This time around I ordered 2 simple pizzas to test the waters. My daughter loved the pizza and ate 2 slices. My wife and I both enjoy the pizza. I think there was a perfect layer of cheese, the crust was thin but not crispy, and it tasted fresh. You can also see a dusting of seasoning on top that adds extra flavor to each bite. Usually for most places we go to my wife will pass off the crust, today she ate all her crust and loved the dough. Looking through the menu they also have Calzones, Stromboli, Salads, Subs, etc. Definitely grabbing a Calzone the next time I eat here. Oh, they carry Pepsi products, so if that is not your thing you can just order your pizza and shoot next door to Publix for your drink of choice. read more
