As time went on and there strategy fell short, that went out the window. Our incoming call volume and web traffic fell near 50% and we lost many tens of thousands of dollars in business and ad costs in a short time. Jet's answer was to throw out the limitations on keywords we agreed upon initially to try to increase click volume and ad spend, without discussing this with us. We knew although these keywords would increase volume of clicks, they would not bring in leads that would lead to an increase in business. We had been working on google ads for years previously and had already proven this as fact. This created an even greater increase in cost of ad spend and a continued decrease lead volume and revenue, as we discussed with them in detail that it would in our initial meetings. This would have continued had we not dug into the ads ourselves and found out what was going on. Jet's answer was basically, oops sorry. They then wanted to continue to use the ads that where not working and add on other services they could provide, at a cost, to make up the difference. Just get back to what we where originally doing in house with little effort or cost. Unfortunately it was a very costly mistake for us to hire Jet. To this point they have refused to give any refund for any part of the services they charged for. Although I do not believe Jet's team had any ill intentions in this process. They definitely did not live up to the expectations they relayed to us, regarding there services or what they would be able to do for our ad campaigns. I do not recommend Jet's services. I had a last minute event come up and needed some posters and custom cut-outs made. I was referred to AVCS by a friend. I was a little skeptical at first because it is a small private company so I didn't know how things would turn out, quality price, etc. Boy am I happy I went through with it. I gave AVCS a call and spoke with Farhan and told him about my 48 hour deadline. He didn't skip a beat, assured me I was in good hands, and was extremely professional throughout the entire process. He sent me various images of the protoypes he had ideas for (better than what I had even asked for) and then recommended a more cost effective material than the one I was requesting. He gave me various quotes and options. The end product came out better than I could have even imagined, earlier than my deadline. 24 hour service! Amazing. Small businesses usually like to squeeze every penny out of you but not ACVS. They let their work and craftmanship speak for itself at prices that are super reasonable. They have a customer for life! In fact, I think the 1 star I had to give was generous. I engaged Juan and My Site Matters to design a website for our wedding. He proceeded to walk me through some websites he was working on and it appeared he knew what he was doing. We agreed on the design of a logo and website to be completed in a month. Shortly after a contract was signed and a deposit was made, Juan's responses were very sparse. I found myself having to reach out to him just to see if his business was even operating. The very few times he did get in touch with me was to show me the amateur logo and beta site he designed. I suggested that he make major changes to the logo and fit the high resolution pictures I provided so they didn't look stretched as if they were seen from a circus mirror, but he simply ignored me and refused to make any changes. Juan never found it his duty to answer his phone or return any calls. After several weeks went by, he finally decided not to return any of my e-mails or calls and shut off any view of the beta site. To top it off, Juan refused to return my deposit and even disputed the transaction with my credit card company after I disputed the charge. This incident occurred over 6 months ago and I'm still left with a sick feeling inside knowing that there is a business out there that conducts itself in this manner. This lingering feeling is why I took to social media to voice my displeasure. My gift to anyone scouring the web for web designer reviews and considering Juan's services and My Site Matters is to advise going elsewhere. Juan and My Site Matters are simply amateurs at designing websites and don't care if their customers are displeased or dissatisfied. I can bet that you'll do a better job than Juan at designing a website.
