Lula's Place Eatery is a hidden gem for Italian food lovers. Chef Louis has put together an exceptional menu that shows real care and skill. The lasagna comes in a huge portion, and the Italian sausage and peppers is my personal favorite. Portions are generous and prices are a great value. My second visit for carry out was very pleasant. The chicken pastina soup was as amazing as the first time. The ambiance is still as lovely as before and I've included a couple of new pics. This time, I ordered less oil for my previous experience with Chicken Piccata... It honestly didn't seem that it was less oil and seemed to have a smoked flavor that I didn't recall from last time and didn't honestly like. Nevertheless, still a great entree. My mom's marinara spaghetti was disappointing to her, as she thought there wasn't enough sauce.. i tasted it and thought the sauce was delicious, though perhaps not enough for my mom's expectations. The pastina soups were the stars of the show! So flavorful and comforting. Absolutely perfect! Since I picked up the orders from the register, I can't rate the service except to say that it was on time and that the soups were packaged to avoid spills, which I appreciated. We were in the mood for Italian the other night but didn't want to sit in a restaurant or drive across town. Found Lula's Place thanks to Yelp and it's been the best find so far this year! Staff was amazing friendly and quick to get our order ready. Wife had the flatbread and I ordered chicken Piccata and everything was so fresh and amazing. We'd heard about this hidden gem, so we thought we'd try it. Mostly Italian food with a few European dishes. The place is small but very clean and inviting. Maximum capacity is 60. We went around lunchtime and it was mildly crowded. Our service was great. Prices were very reasonable. We'll definitely be back. It's located in a small strip mall. I went to Lulas about a month and a half ago for the first time and all I have to say is it's about time there was higher quality food in the area!! I used to live in Portland Oregon, Los Angeles Ca and Berlin Germany and it's nice having something on par with the bigger cities with FLAVOR and spices. The owner is incredibly kind and allowed me to bring my 5lb chihuahua in his carrier so he didn't have to sit in the car. Not only that but he cooked him some chicken and carrots ?! Uwe ate everything so fast. I have missed the dog friendly restaurants on the west coast and this was so refreshing to be able to bring my dog with me again. The food was so delicious, I almost felt sick because I kept eating after I was full lol. The carrot cake IS SO AMAZING. Do yourself a favor and try it! Will be going back soon! read more

Highly recommended ! A very nice and clean place. My daughter recommended stopping by here. My husband and I came about an hour before closing. The food was fresh and good and we had a great conversation with Chef Larry and our waitress. We had chicken Parmesan and Mediterranean chicken vegetables. We sampled the Maurice salad dressing, which is delicious. They have a small bakery counter with a number of specialty items, (delicious New York cannolis )including some gluten-free choices. I went back recently for take out and my experience was much better. I offered lasagna with chicken pastina soup and an almond cannolo. The lasagna was a generous portion and the sauce was delicious and well balanced. The bread it was served with was soft and fresh as well. I was able to enjoy the lasagna as leftovers as well since the portion was quite generous. The pastina soup was flavorful and comforting and made a nice addition to the meal. The cannolo was fresh and the shell was very crisp. It is easily the best place to get cannoli in the area. I was pleased with my experience and would be willing to give dinner another try based on the efficient service I received for take out at the low volume time I arrived. read more

Unfortunately we had a mediocre experience. The server was really friendly and attentive. We started with the cheese bread which was pretty good. Next was our salads; the homemade ranch is a home run, unfortunately there was a lot of brown/pink pieces of lettuce. Wish that would have been picked through before reaching my table. It would be nice to have the veggies in the salad cut up more as well, too bulky. I had the chicken Parmesan, it was okay. The flavor of the chicken was good but it was in a puddle of juice, which made the chicken soggy and splashed on me while eating. It wasn't tomato sauce it was like water consistency under the chicken. My boyfriend had the spaghetti pomodoro and added many veggies to it. The veggies were too big of chunks for his liking. He said he would like to have something like asparagus and broccoli to add to his pomodoro. (He said it was boring) We might be a little biased because we don't care for spaghetti noodles. We prefer angel hair. (Our fault for not thinking about it.) The bread that accompanies the entrees was kinda hard and flavorless. Im not sure if this was day old bread or if that's the normal. Good bread is a staple at Italian restaurants. Also they serve cans of pop, which is annoying. On the bright side, that does give you the option of coke or Pepsi and they have the good ice if know what I mean. I think 2$ a can is a little much, I would say $1.50 is more reasonable. The entrées we selected is our favorite at Carrabba's. Maybe chief should go try Carrabba's and maybe get some inspiration. Would have loved to love this place although this experience wasn't bad, it just wasn't good. We wish them luck, and hope with our honest critiques they can improve upon themselves. Would love to see a good Alfredo and eggplant parmesan added to the menu. Also, FYI, they charge you to use your credit card... strange. read more

Do not recommend. I can say that the waitress was awesome! That is why 2 stars!!! The Spaghetti was ok the bruschetta was terrible. The bread was so soggy you could not get it to your mouth. That was because the "fresh" toppings were made of canned tomatoes or tasted like it. and possibly fresh garlic. Will not be going back. My friend had the flat bread pizza and she had the same problem. Too soggy to eat. She went home and had 4 tums after eating only 3 sections. This evening we savored an authentic and delicious Italian dinner at Lula's. The owner Lorenzo was very welcoming and shared his passion for Italian food and the culture of Sicily. Our server Miranda was very friendly and helpful. A cozy atmosphere with soft Italian music playing in the background enhanced the experience. Wonderful experience all around. Can't rate this restaurant high enough. The food was absolutely delicious and came out at a perfect pace. But the biggest highlight--the customer service! The server was extremely accommodating and kind and the chef/owner went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience.
