We ordered pick-up for a group from our office for lunch... wow, was so good! 1. Generous portions... yes 2. Hot food... yes (even with the delay in receiving) 3. Delicious... yes (pasta itself was so good) 4. Ingredients.. yes (well distributed throughout, not just sprinkled on top) Even the Italians in our office were pleased, would definitely do this again. Many options on the menu means you can mix it up. And again, the quality of the pasta!

Lulu Pasta Bar... I would give 10 stars if I could! Perhaps one of the best pasta spots I have been to honestly. They give you the option to build a custom cup which I thought was super cool. We got two cups: bacon parmesan with rigati pasta & chicken added and a custom cup with campenelle pasta, chicken, mushroom, & crémeuse eu Pesto sauce. Both pastas were CHEF's KISS ! They bring your pastas to your table and (optional) add parmesan and parsley. The pastas came piping hot & continued to stay hot until we finished our pastas... even with the strong AC blowing. They make their pastas in house, as well, so their pastas are super fresh & actually have ~20-30g of protein. Seasoned to perfection and I am still lost for words to describe how amazing our meal was. **they also have vegan options for pastas & salads + desserts 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!

When walking in, the place was jamming near closing on a Tuesday night about 9pm Walked in had to take the menu in a bit and i decided on getting the pre set bacon parm pasta with rigatoni adding chicken. My lady got the pesto sauce pasta build your own with chicken and mushrooms. Pasta being campenelle. We were both blown away by how quick their setup is, pasta was perfect el dente and hot hot fresh out the pot. Chicken and proteins were moist and fresh. Everything fresh. Flavor sauces was on point i thoroughly enjoyed both styles. Killed it, the servers were also amazing, all smiles, on point with immediate cleanup of tables and i also saw them cleaning their cooking stations. They ran a tight kitchen and everything felt super clean and spotless. Even the single bathroom in the basement was cute and clean! Superb service, definitely coming back on our next montreal trip! . Thank you! - love from Boston.

Fresh pasta and high quality ingredients! Need I say more? Honestly their pasta is amazing!! So so fresh. They use fresh pasta made right in front of you. Their menu has a wide range of options including build your own. Vegetarian and vegan friendly too! The seating (outdoor and indoor) are limited. Definitely worth a visit!

I actually noticed this spot…read moreduring my first visit to Montreal last year - it's close to several foodie hot spots, however I didn't get to try it until now. That being said, I was excited to check this spot off my list. Drogheria Fine does one thing - gnocchi. They serve it in Chinese takeout containers and you can get them topped with either cheese, red pepper flakes, or both. There is no sit down option, simply a walk-up window where you order. There are, however, some benches where you can sit - but the containers are designed to move so you could easy eat while on the go. I got the...gnocchi, and decided to full monty and add grated parm and red pepper flakes. The gnocchi were smaller than standard and almost round in nature. Also since they were smaller, they weren't as heavy which was welcome. The sauce had a somewhat unique flavor - there was some depth to it, and the parm and pepper flakes were a good complement. Overall, I'm glad I had the opportunity to stop at Drogheria Fine. I'm not sold on it being a "must do" in Montreal, but their gnocchi were good and the sauce was unique. If you're in the area I would say it's worth a stop.

Not too sweet and the gnocchi was just cooked right. I think I could do without the extra cheese but still worth it. I stumbled into this place and now I know what the hype is about. The quantity is generous and the taste really stands out, and their spice actually matches my Indian tastebuds. This is a very peaceful spot and the service is really quick. There's no seating space inside but there are benches right in the front, so you can hang out. Also they don't accept credit cards so be prepared!! Overall I loved the experience and as a tourist I really felt welcomed at this place!!

I'm not really reviewing the market's concept with looks pretty cool. Fresh pastas by weight and a fairly large selection of Italian specialties, perhaps I may have a better taste in my mouth after trying those items. In a crusty shell, I got their vegetarian pizza to go (personal size - which is actually a fair size and comes with a decent price tag $8 or 9 +T). Apart from having to wait a bit longer than you would expect for a fresh pizza it came out hot and looked pretty good. Even the first couple of bites seemed to be alright and even somewhat tasty, but then bite after bite it got worse and worse. There was an odd something going on with their dough and/or sauce and/or cheese and/or vegetable situation/combination, that made me feel a little yucky after eating it. I'm not a big fan of that happening and who would be. You should never feel yucky after eating a pizza. Even after eating a whole small. You may feel stuffed, but be happily full; satisfied and even proud you ate it all up. So, when I saw the high star rating I was a bit surprised, and by chance I saw another 1* review that concurred with my experience, so I don't feel like I'm the only one who had this feeling and experience. Note: Their system for where to go, stand and order where not very clear, so that could also use some work. The shop has a bit of a complicated layout which doesn't help matters. Maybe they've worked on that over the last several weeks/months, and if not they probably should to make it as safe and efficient as possible. I think that's fair to hope for...

We got big green grapes that were quite pricey, nearly $20 USD but they were just grapes, they were more juicy though. They heat these up so it was perfect to eat right away. *Warning* There was a an issue of not being labeled nut and asking the worker if there was any and they said no but after confirming with the cook there was walnut in the bread. So I would be extra careful about that. Other than that they had foie gras for sale as well as many other places that had it as well. There were a few grocery stores and butcher shops so there is a lot to choose from if you are looking for different types. There were a few dessert places but the place isn't too big with more variety for grocery food items.

They took me INSIDE. Through the restaurant. And out the other side into this absolutely fantastic hidden courtyard. Excuse me?? Why did nobody tell me we had upgraded accommodations? The back patio is one of those spaces you'd never know existed from the street. There are stone walls, greenery climbing everywhere, strings of lights overhead and some seriously cool artwork and murals. It feels tucked away from the bustle of Old Montreal and, once the lights came on, had a really warm, relaxed atmosphere. Most importantly, nobody seemed remotely concerned that a tiny Italian Greyhound had joined the dinner party. I was welcomed right in. Mum ordered the trout over couscous, which looked extremely impressive. She did give me some of the trout. Dad ordered the steak frites. I repeat: Dad ordered steak. At a dog-friendly restaurant. While sitting next to a dog. He did not share. I feel like we've covered this issue before. Dad had wine, Mum had a Diet Coke, and I spent much of dinner curled up comfortably with Mum while monitoring the steak situation. There were developments. None favorable to me. But Wolf & Workman is exactly the kind of place we're always hoping to find when traveling: somewhere the humans don't have to compromise on having a genuinely great dinner just because I'm with them. This wasn't simply "there are a couple of tables outside where you can put the dog." I got the good patio. Dogba's verdict: 5 paws out of 5. Dog welcome: enthusiastic Surprise hidden courtyard: exceptional Murals: excellent photo opportunities Evening atmosphere: Mum approved Mum's trout: apparently delicious Dad ordering steak in my presence: provocative Wine for Dad: yes Steak for Dogba: I'd prefer not to discuss it Would absolutely return. Although next time, when someone says Wolf & Workman, I expect considerably more attention to the wolf portion of the clientele.
