The first time, my wife and I ordered two meals and were given just one small salsa, not enough for even one person. When we came back to ask for more, her attitude was noticeably rude. The second visit wasn't any better. We ordered four tacos, she repeated the order correctly, but we were only given three. When I pointed it out, she tried to charge my card again for the missing taco instead of fixing the mistake. On top of that, we were again given just one small salsa. When we asked for more, she walked away, said something under her breath, and came back with a couple more with an attitude like we were bothering her. I'm not sure what her issue is, but being greeted with friendliness and basic customer service goes a long way. These experiences have made me think twice about coming back when she's working, which is disappointing because I do like the place overall.

The truck doesn't seem to be out and about all that often and each time I've been lucky enough to try their birria it has been when they've been parked outside of Lake Monster Brewing. If the last time I visited was any indication, it appears that they're sticking to what they do best - birria. Gone were any options that didn't involve that beefy goodness, which is fine by me, as that's the only thing I'd be ordering. I'd expect them to supply that if there isn't anything around. And as they were parked outside The Lab's taproom, maybe they assumed we could get beverages in there, so they didn't appear to offer any. But The Lab's bar was only serving drinks to people on their patio. But despite all that, I know that I will be consciously craving these tacos again soon. I can't wait to return! When I pulled it out to eat the next day, I did find what I thought was a balloon in the food, it turned out to be part of a glove. I'm sure it was an honest mistake, but that does bring down the score a little. All in all, I was pretty satisfied.
