They offered either additional work at no charge or partial money back, which I do appreciate. During that conversation, I informed them there was still another issue left unresolved from the previous work. They offered to send Jacob out to inspect and address it. At first I was unwilling to allow them back to my house. They sent Jacob and I want to specifically recognize him for his professionalism. Jacob was incredibly informative, respectful, and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, immediately identified the issue, and fixed it correctly. The experience with him was completely different from what I dealt with previously. He communicated clearly, treated me with respect and empathy, and made me feel much more confident in the work being done. I genuinely wish Jacob had been involved from the beginning because I believe much of this situation could have been avoided. While my past experience with the company and Andres is still frustrating, I do want to give credit where it is due and acknowledge Jacob for the quality service he provided. Jacob's professionalism, interpersonal skills and customer service earned this company 4 stars. Thank you, Jacob.

Swartz Electric is the best of the best. Their customer service was on it from day one, they have…read morebeen in constant communication and set great expectations via email, phone calls and text. They quoted me for running dedicated lines from my panel to the bar, wired my wine chiller and refrigerators, put dimmers on the cans and pendant lights and fixed my mistakes I made with the bathroom lighting. Needless to say, mine was a pretty big job that they knocked out in a day and a half. All technicians were friendly and professional. They showed up on time and worked quickly. Great attention to detail. They might be a bit more than some, but for the scope of work they were very reasonable. You definitely won't be sorry you paid the money. I highly recommend Jairo Villalobos and his team (Briana, Bruce, and "Jaco"). Swartz Electric has my vote for the best electricians and service in Colorado Springs and possibly all of CO. Once the bar is completely done I'll post the pictures to show off the incredible job they did!

I do not recommend this company. It was acquired in November 2025. Disregard any great reviews…read moreprior to that date--it's a fundamentally different business now. Summary: Electrician was here less than an hour, flipped some switches in my electrical box, and charged me ~$400. I had used this company prior to the acquisition/merger, and they were phenomenal. I thought I'd found my "no-brainer"--any time I needed electrical work done, I'd go to Swartz. Based on my recent experience, I would never do business with them again. Post-acquisition, there is a ~$58-$68 fee that is simply a dispatch charge to get an electrician to your door and does not include any actual work or troubleshooting. That fee itself is reasonable. What followed was not. A simple electrical issue was escalated into an unnecessary "advanced diagnostic" costing $381 (also new as of the acquisition), only for the electrician to eventually discover that the problem was just partially tripped breakers that needed to be fully reset. That is the most basic troubleshooting step and should have been done immediately. There is no safety rule, code requirement, or licensing restriction that prevents an electrician from resetting a breaker during an initial assessment. An electrician might reasonably pause only if there is evidence of burn marks, overheating, a breaker that immediately re-trips, water intrusion, known damaged wiring, or commercial lockout-tagout requirements. None of those conditions applied here. Any suggestion otherwise reflects company policy or sales process--not an industry standard. Instead of resolving the issue upfront, I was pushed toward advanced diagnostics and then told the $381 diagnostic fee could be waived if I agreed to replace three plug-in breaker components for approximately $1,200. The components were on the older side, but still functional. They will one day die, and when they do, it will not be Swartz Electric replacing them. This experience felt like a textbook upsell rather than competent, methodical troubleshooting. Nothing about this situation justified advanced diagnostics or costly replacements. The issue required no parts, no special tools, and no advanced expertise. Given how different the experience was before the acquisition, I strongly suspect many of the positive reviews reflect the company as it used to operate, not how it does now. Proceed with extreme caution.

Nick and Chris came out much quicker than expecte, located and repaired the issue in a short time. In addition, they pointed us to a restoration company to help with the cleanup (lots of mud and other stuff), haul away all of the damaged items from the flood, etc. Totally satisfied with the level of service we received on short notice, on a very busy day.

However I am now going to leave another review which reflects as a whole my entire experience of several appointments over a few month period. Beginning of the year had our furnace serviced, as it is rather old but a top brand and has been running well without issue. Our thought was that we want it to last several years more, so we will do whatever is recommended to keep it going. The technician said it is in excellent shape and aside from needing a cleaning and a new capacitor, there is nothing wrong with it nor worn out. We had the cleaning done and the capacitor replaced. It continued to work as it had been previously. At this appointment it was mentioned how filthy our ductwork is (which was not deniable due to live camera scoping.) It was explained that cleaning the ducts would help to lengthen the life of the furnace. We therefore scheduled it and had this completed. It costs thousands of dollars, but the team did a very good job and we were happy to have taken care of it. Unfortunately, later after the team had gone, when the furnace was turned back on after this cleaning, it sounded terrible. Not only was it twice as loud, but there was a high pitched shrill vibration which you can actually feel if standing near it AND it rattled like there was some sort of loose part. We waited a couple weeks to see if this would subside, as I thought perhaps there was residual dust that needed to settle, even though i had previously specifically asked if this would cause any strain on the furnace when so much dust was displaced, and was told that was not a concern. After over a month, we were extremely tired of listening to the terrible furnace noises and super regretful that we had the ductwork cleaned. We called the company to request they come out and see what was causing all the noise. A tech came out and firstly claimed that he didn't heat the noises we were hearing (while we were standing there listening to them) and then upon opening up the furnace made some claim that he had found a loose screw that just needed tightening. Firstly, if there was a loose screw, that is on them since they were the last ones in the furnace. Secondly, nothing changed after the screw was tightened. Nonetheless this tech claimed "everything sounded good to him" and charged us a $90 trip fee and left. There is nothing else to be done at this point but we would NEVER have cleaned the ducts had we known this would be the result. We've considered selling our place recently, but I'm not even sure anyone will buy it with the noises coming from the furnace. If I was considting buying this home, I would require a new furnace after hearing the sound of this current one.
