I almost fell asleep, which, if you know me, is wild because I can barely sit still for a Netflix episode. And when I opened my eyes? Babe. BABE. The lashes were perfect -- full, clean, and not cartoonish at all. Think "subtle enhancement" with just enough flirt to make even the straight boys at the gym double-take. What I loved most is that they didn't feel heavy or fake. They just gave me this extra pop -- like contouring, but for your eyes. Walking out, I caught my reflection in the window and literally whispered, "Yasss, diva." Would I do it again? Absolutely. The salon nailed it (or should I say lashed it). I've been going to Lash specialist Mai for a very long time. She started doing lashes at home to practice and is now venturing out & I could not be more proud of her. I am 100% satisfied with the quality of work she does and how kind she is as a person. She can do any style you ask for & if you're not happy with them she is willing to fix them. She genuinely cares about her guests & is very knowledgeable about eyelash extensions. I HIGHLY recommend asking for her if you're thinking about getting lashes done yourself! Had an allergic reaction to the eyelash adhesive. Since it was my first time, I didn't know I was allergic. When I went back to get them removed, I was told the itching was caused by weather allergies. My eyes are itchy, burning, red, and swollen. I usually never leave reviews but I paid for my wife to get her lashes done here before taking her out of the country for her birthday and within a day or 2 days she's expressed to me that more than half of her lashes have fallen out. She tells me she hasn't gotten them wet since getting them put on which is rule as I'm told. When she called to talk to the manager they denied her a refund of any kind but offered her to come back to get a discount on lashes that may fall out once again. They charged her $100 for what looks like 5 lashes in each eye. If I could leave 0 stars I would. read more

Very upset that my lashes are already falling out, after three days. I came in for a classic set, first time getting extensions. You would think for 70 bucks they would apply better glue. Maybe the lash tech was new/lazy, either way I wouldn't recommend this place. Also, there's No privacy. She told me they give prices after the service...it depends on how many they have to put. I asked her if I could please have a guesstimate and she gladly gave me one. After having a horrible experience at another place... I was hesitant, but now I am absolutely amazed with My Lashes. I have been already to get them refilled, and I can not see myself going without them now. Anh is wonderful and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The studio is very pretty and kept very clean. All of their procedures are done under the cleanest of conditions. The glue and the lashes are super light weight making them comfortable even if you wear contacts. I was able to get in on a Saturday and one day after work which makes going in very convenient. So if you want your lashes done by a great studio this is the place to go. read more

I went into the lash studio expecting good customer service. Unfortunately the lash technician used a U V light to dry the glue on my lashes. My eyes are red and dry. The skin around my eyes is burned too. I don't recommend the Missouri City location to anyone. The risk is too great. read more

I've had my lashed done at Lumin quite a few times before and was pleased with the results (my first review was 5 stars). This last time was enough to make me not want to go back again, I'm highly disappointed. I asked to get a hybrid which is a mix of single lashes and fans that typically hold up to 3 lashes. When I got home to a bigger mirror, I noticed how bulky and full they were. After isolating my lashes, I noticed that the fans that were used had way more than just 3. I called to have them fixed and they agreed but my schedule did not allow me to make it in within the three days. Over the next few days, I had way more shedding than normal, and I also noticed that all the fans that fell off were taking my natural lash. Some of the fans that fell off had up 8-10 lashes... that is horrible! Not only did it leave gaps when one came out, it's very damaging to the eye. As a license esthetician and certified lash artist, I decided to remove them to prevent any more damage. I'm not sure if the lady who did mine was new or in a rush, but she needs to know that that is unacceptable. Some the fans even started to droop and turned sideways because they were too heavy for my natural lash and anyone who has been properly trained would know that extensions have weights and should not be done unless a customer is aware. I personally do not believe in mega volume lashes; I do not provide mega volume and would never get them for myself. My lashes have always been on the shorter side but never with so many gaps. $139 down the drain! read more
