I double checked because I thought there was a miscommunication. Nobody contacted me. Poor PR. Get a groupon, folks! Oh, wait... there's a response... NO "confusion." You clearly sat me down in your back room and quoted me $508 for 6 sessions for just lasering my armpit regrowth, not even much hair. I purchased a Groupon for another spa for $56. First off the appointments are never true to time. There is ALWAYS SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED and this pushes back time schedules. I mean every single time I go to this location. I just walked out of my appointment that was at 1:30 and still had yet for someone to apply the numbing cream to at least be ahead of the game for when I need the laser treatment done. The receptionist are not properly trained and need to be trained to have good customer service when someone walks into the place. I'm not coming back to this location ever. read more

LaserAway is definitely a genuine place that honors their product. I have wasted so much money on empty promises and results from other places. I have suffered all my life from having so much hair and razor burns. After coming here I can honestly say I would only send my family and friends here. They always make feel comfortable. I'm very shy so doing a Brazilian was nerve wreaking. But the girls make you feel fine. I also had literally a half beard growing on half my neck. This laser treatment worked. Updating my review: I I have recently reached the end of my laser package amount, and I am completely disappointed with LaserAway. Beware their FALSE ADVERTISING. When I first got my package for laser treatments, I was given the information that every time that we checked in we would receive $50 to another laser package or service at the end of our current purchase package. My nurse Rafa initially told me, and we were given a note in our goodie bag (when they first opened) that also confirmed that when we checked in every time we would get $50 , the front desk ladies also always took the time to remind us every appointment to check in to receive our $50 credit. Now that I have mentioned that I should have about $350 in credit to go to a new package, Lauren and her supervisor say that they will not honor that anymore. Lauren also said that she would send a customer service report to the regional manager and I should also receive a copy of the customer service report in my email, it has been one week and I have not received a receipt of confirmation that it has been sent. I have tried calling multiple times to get the complaints sent over to the appropriate supervisor with no success. After finally getting through after a week worth of attempts, I was told that the regional manager would get in contact with me at the end of last week...Which they have not. I got a call from someone named Gina, and she told me that their technology for laser hair removal is permanent and the place I currently go to is only for temporary and I should stop using them. She was full of it. When I told her that I don't plan on just stopping bc I already paid money she had the audacity to tell me that I could use a credit at the other place. WTF? I purchased a ticket to start in JULY however I am an international student and was going through some issues therefore at the time of Purchase I informed the lady that "I might need to travel and in that case I'll have to cancel this" she said "YES NO PROBLEM JUST CALL AND CANCEL" without ever informing me that this ticket is NON REFUNDABLE EVEN BEFORE I HAVE STARTED ANY SERVICES with them. I started a financing plan. However I called them multiple times emailed them a GAZILLION time. NO RESPECTFUL RESPONSE. Infact the woman who replied to my email SIMPLE REPLIED WITHOUT EVEN READING MY EMAILS. My first experience technician was very good~ however I did not care for the high pressure sales speech when they take you in the back room and go over packages and tell you to give them a 5 star on yelp review to get 20% off. She gave me a little bag with information about the procedure etc. Once I got home and read through it , it clearly said that the clear and brilliant isn't recommended for women trying to get pregnant or are pregnant. This never came up during my consultation, so I called in the next day and spoke to Melissa and let her know my concerns. She said this is no big deal and take a pregnancy test before I come in. This is Saturday and my appointment is in three days. According to my cycle I wouldn't be able to take a reliable test and know till the week after. To this Melissa said "I don't know what kind of tests you're taking if you aren't able to find out in 3 days"...! So RUDE ! Who says stuff like this?!! And also, pick up a book and read up on how the female reproductive cycle works and the days when urine pregnancy tests are reliable. Can't believe I have to write all this here. I have been going to Laser Away for my Brazilian laser hair removal for my first 6 sessions. I love getting it done by them because of the convenient location in Sugarland. It's near my house! They have a clean, comfortable space. The booking process, rebooking, cancellation is a breeze. I never had issues with their customer service. I love having Rafaela(Rafa)do my Brazilian laser hair removal. She has always been gentle, patient and responsible in providing information related to my treatment. I have a very shallow pain threshold and she has always been gentle with me. She never rushed me in all my sessions. I have to go back for 3 more sessions but I'm contemplating on getting them from Clearstone at the Galleria area because their pricing is friendlier. Laser Away is no doubt a great place but they can get very expensive without deals going on. The other place is a great alternative with a much more affordable rate even though the location really is a pain because of traffic. But aside from the rates, Laser Away is a 5. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I understand the pandemic is a novel and unusual circumstance. As it happened I had an appointment for laser hair removal just before the studio closed and the next appointment for after it was to reopen. I got a call from Laseraway confirming my original appointment, as well as their intention to re-open the studio a couple days before. That is, I got lucky with timing.... My appointment is tomorrow morning, but I have not received the usual text message confirming my appointment. Normally, if I have an appointment I'll just show up. But because of the pandemic I went to check that my appointment is still on. I called and no answer. I check their Facebook page and no information. Here on Yelp I see that the studio is closed through this month!! So basically I would have driven 1 hour to my appointment tomorrow and no one has told me that it's cancelled. I'm still not sure whether this information on Yelp is correct or my appointment is still on.... Pandemic or no you have to be client oriented, make sure the ball doesn't drop on scheduled appointments. Even as I write I have no idea whether my appointment is cancelled or not, but I'm not risking the hour drive and even the possible exposure without the usual text from Laseraway to confirm my appointment.
