    Paneer wrap

I have been waiting for Luminous to open after meeting one of the guys at the Louisville Farmers Market. I would often grab a chai tea to drink while walking around the market. Their shop is in downtown Longmont and as soon as you walk in there are tables and tea along the walls. There are so many options. My friend and I tried the paneer wrap and it was so good! I really enjoyed it! We were told the samosas are a bit spicy so we didn't try though, but I would love to go back and try it. I got the chocolate strawberry tea with oat milk there. It was very fragrant. I bought some chocolate raspberry to take home though. It was so much fun!

I'm happy Longmont has this tea house. It's not a fancy place for afternoon tea but more of an approachable laid back casual location. They offer tea and coffee along with pastries and a few other bites. You can also buy loose leaf teas to brew at home. The two best things about this spot are the tea and the cute porcelain tea sets. Luminous has tea options for whatever mood you're in - classic earl Grey, moody butterfly pea, tasty fruity or herbals, spicy chais, and more! The tea sets included tea pots, cups, and saucers decorated with flowers, birds, and butterflies. The space has several 2 and 4 top tables, one pair of arm chairs, and a couple bar height seating areas. You order at the counter and your order will be brought out to you. I'd recommend having sugar at tables so you don't have to worry about it. I did request sugar but it was not brought out. The ambiance was ok. The space was very bright and modern aside from the holiday themed table cloths. Some light instrumental music would be nice. I'm sure the space will evolve once they are more established as they seem to be waiting on permanent signage. Parking in downtown Longmont is mostly 2 hour street parking so keep that in mind if you are driving. I'll definitely return and try more teas.

BEST. SCONE. I'VE. EVER. HAD! Moist, delicious. Earl Grey Lavender - fabulous. Cucumber sandwich a little too salt, but still VERY good. Go. It's worth every penny. Excellent service. Cutesy decorations.

It is advertised and signage for both businesses, sharing space and staff. So I will use and address these products together and post each business' Yelp page. We were in Longmont for one of my medical appointments and I knew firm a longtime Yelp fried that there were Michi donuts to be had here and her picture looked like something I wanted to try in the traditionally Japanese treat. I get out this way only a few times a year. WhenI mapped it on Google I found the 2 separate names. It's a cute place and deviated in lots of pink, very trendy these days. We chose our mochi donuts and shown how to order and lay at the kiosks on the wall. We ordered taro, matcha and black sesame. The black sesame was our favorite for both of us though I liked the other two flavors better than my husband did. We both ordered drinks but different ones. I ordered the pear tea with Brien sugar jelly and my husband ordered a green tea with boba. Mine had reduced sugar. The cups looked big but were more ice than fluid than I am used to in other shops in Boulder. But they were both very tasty and complimented the donuts very well. The tables were clean and predominantly empty as most customers were doing take out. The staff was very friendly and helpful but it was unclear to me if the donuts are actually made there, by then. The flavored frostings had a very thin layer and the flavors were lighter than a local shop in the neighboring town where we had some being made in a live kitchen and being served freshly made before our eyes. These were still good but the other place was stellar. Neither are close to home so we will only get to each when in their towns. If you are nearby and looking for a treat, stop in and enjoy. It's a pack of calories but sometimes needed. It's unclear to me if the ownership is franchised from both companies but the products make could partners.

Came by a few days later and they were still out and had a blueberry scone instead. (Absolute delish) * breakfast burritos (wish I would've tried) * Drinks were good. Overall, good place to work from, they have regulars and I loved that vibe. Neighborhood coffee shop, nice meet up place, and hang out for a bit as well. :)

The drinks are fantastic, the pastries are great, and the staff is consistently kind and talented. But I'm still baffled by the lack of ceramic "for here" mugs. They clearly have the infrastructure to support them. There's a bussing station ready and waiting, and they make the pastries and cheesy bits in house. You can't tell me they don't have a place to wash a few mugs! Choosing not to offer reusable mugs is costing more than just extra paper cups; it's costing loyal customers like me. I've found myself going elsewhere lately, not because I don't love MeCo, but because even when I remember to bring my own cup, my friends usually don't. It feels wasteful to sit down and try to enjoy coffee in a disposable to-go cup. This feels like a small, one-time investment with a big environmental and customer loyalty return. I truly hope MeCo reconsiders.
