First, I filled out the paperwork with medical information - totally appropriate for 6 month visit. None of my information has changed. AND THEN I was told I was required to complete an identical medical survey for a private company to access medical records that sold products for sleep apnea. I was told patients could leave the office without completing it by the front desk- totally unethical- there should have a been a disclosure form available around transparency and consent. As a medical provider, I was disgusted by their ruse and will not be returning. The overall care is adequate, but administrative practices are suspect.

I genuinely tried to give this place a fair chance, but the constant scheduling mistakes, lack of communication, unprofessional attitude, and overall disorganization make it really hard to justify staying. I arrived for my appointment and the technician asked me if I had any other concerns which I did, he spoke with the dentist & she advised him to just take images of the teeth that I had concerns of. After the dentist met with me I went to make a follow up appointment regarding my sensitive tooth, I approached the receptionist desk where she was whispering to the receptionist. I was told by the receptionist that the dentist wanted Imaging of all of my teeth & she informed me that my insurance would not cover the x-rays and I would have to pay out-of-pocket reason being that the dentist requested only three images that were just taken by the technician. The dentist was well aware that I had not been to that office in one complete year, why wouldn't she advise the technician to take imaging of all of my teeth? When I asked to speak with the dentist all of a sudden she was busy. This is unethical on her part & quite honestly bad business, she was quite unlikable & made the impression that it was more about making money than giving great care, I will not be returning and I advise anyone to use caution when dealing with Shoreline Dental in Milford Connecticut! (Please take the time to check Shoreline Dental's reviews on Google as well there are quite a few with One star and people complaining about the Care that they received)!! Every single staff member I talked to yesterday was wonderful and genuinely cared that you walked through the doors and felt comfortable and welcomed. The office looks brand new and is sparkling clean. I did my teeth cleaning - where they had TVs in each of the patient corners- even one on the ceiling - which I thought was a really fun touch. When Dr Jason came in to check on me he found not one, but two cavities - the first ever in my life! He has an opening pretty soon after so I stayed and he took care of them 15 minutes tops. I walked out the door with a smile and a great swag bag of Shoreline Dental merch. This place is the real deal from top to bottom. A special thank you to all the staff that let me ask for advice on drilling a cavity without numbing my whole face - you were all right - it's possible and did not hurt! See you again in 6 months!

I got multiple fillings from him two years ago on the left side of my mouth and they are STILL sensitive. I learned my lesson early, switched to another dentist to do fillings on the right side and what do you know, the other dentist's work is just fine. Not only are my fillings by Dr. T terrible, he also took unusual breaks during the procedure, leaving me to sit there waiting with chunks of multiple teeth drilled out. I went to the bathroom during his break once and saw my teeth without the fillings -- horrifying. No one should ever have to see their own mouth like that. And lastly, I requested that my records and x-rays be sent from his office to my current dentist THREE times over the course of a week, once during my first appointment with my new dentist because they still hadn't sent them after asking twice. As a result, I had to get all new x-rays that my insurance wouldn't cover. That's money lost because of his negligent staff. So in case I haven't warned you enough, please please do not go to this place. You can find much better. I know I did.

My partner had a filling/cap come out on a Friday night -- the second time this had happened. He called first thing Monday morning and explained that the tooth was extremely sensitive and that he was having difficulty eating. The receptionist told him they could squeeze him in on Tuesday, so he waited for that appointment rather than immediately seeking care elsewhere. Then, only two hours before his scheduled appointment on Tuesday, the office called to tell him that the doctor was completely booked and could no longer see him. Their solution was to offer him an appointment in the middle of the following week. That level of patient care is completely unacceptable to me. This was not a routine cleaning or something that could comfortably wait another week. His tooth was exposed, extremely sensitive, and painful enough that eating was difficult. What made the experience even worse was the complete lack of concern, understanding, or effort to accommodate him after they were the ones who had already scheduled the appointment. He ultimately decided to switch dentists. His new dentist got him in and had the problem fixed within about 20 minutes. It is incredibly disappointing that a longtime dental office could not find a way to address a patient with an urgent issue -- particularly when the restoration had already failed twice. The last-minute cancellation, lack of urgency, and overall dismissive treatment of a patient in discomfort were awful. We expected much better care and basic consideration from a dental practice. After this experience, he will not be returning, and I would not recommend this practice to anyone looking for a responsive, accommodating dental office.

I left with a tooth still jabbing into my inside cheek. It was wrong.
