Just before getting to Floresville is this wonderful Filipino food truck with amazing food! I had freshly made giant pork lumpia which were amazing! They were flaky, flavorful, and fantastic! I spoke to the owner and we got on the topic of Crispy Pata, and how a wonderful German restaurant in Leavenworth Washington serves an identically delicious dish. I was on my way to a friend's home in Floresville and was surprised to see a sign for Filipino food. After stopping at my friend's home, we had to stop to check it out. We bought the BBQ pork plate, BBQ chicken plate and pancit (noodles). The plates came with 2 sticks of meat, 2 scoops of rice, and 2 long pieces of lumpia! We couldn't wait to get a bite in! Delicious, every time we eat here they give us fresh hot food and by the time I get to my house in La vernia it seems like I just ordered and got it. I strongly recommend them. Pull up to this place at first makes you nervous. The inside is small and intimate. The service is great and very polite and catering. The menu choices is enough to give you variety. I've been driving past this food truck for probably about a month now.. we were driving to Floresville to pick up a piece of furniture, and decided to try it since we were hungry. Veteran owned, super nice, friendly, card or cash. There is a table set up to enjoy there or you can take with you to go. It's in the driveway of someone's home, but the home is set far back on property. You can see sign and flags from 181. We had the pork adobo fried rice, bbq chicken plate, extra order of lumpia and an extra bbq chicken stick. Holy smokes. It was all amazing! I can't wait to go back and try the Pancit. The portions are large, and the lumpia's are huge, perfect dough to filling ratio. They're really long. Like 2 lumpia in 1. We drove back to SA, which was only about 35 minutes to our house and our food was still hot. read more

My favorite is the BBQ chicken on a stick combo with white rice & pork Lumpias but the pork fried rice comes in a close second! The owner-couple is super friendly- he shuffles the food to you & she cooks! Only bad part is that they're only open Fri-Sunday & food might take a little longer to make but if you call ahead 15-20 minutes like I do then it'll be ready by the time I get there. read more

We visited Lumpia's Wheel last night upon recommendation from a coworker. It was PHENOMENAL! We wanted to try everything, so we ordered one of each item off the menu! The portions are gigantic, and we were not disappointed with a single item. My husband's favorite was the pork adobo, and mine was the chicken skewers. The pork adobo fried rice has a ton of meat in it and great flavor, and all the lumpia were perfectly fried- light and crispy. I was very pleasantly surprised by the cream cheese lumpia! Such a nice creamy dessert. The employee who greeted us was so kind and happy the entire time, even though they were busy with to-go orders.
