Delicious also! I cut the whole meal in half so I could take it home. Had the pistachio cake for desert. Oh.my.goodness! The piece was so big that it could have been split into 3 pieces. Really light and delicious. Wish they had eggplant parm on the menu as that's my fave. I'm camping at the Thousand Trails Oceana, next town north. Will go back again while I'm here. Wait staff was pleasant and checked on me often. Do go and enjoy!!

Loved this place!…read more We will be returning soon! We were greeted right away. Wait staff was great. Our waiter, Cheryl, was knowledgeable when asked about the food and was kind. It was busy, and she still made rounds to make sure she knew when our appetizer, food, and drinks were coming. This was our first time, and the food was the best we have had in a long time. You can just tell the quality in the authentic Italian food. Recommend 100%! Things to know: Call to reserve. Don't just walk in. This place is small and popularity is known all over and especially by the locals and you don't want to miss this. Parking is scarce, but additional parking behind the coffee shop just past the restaurant. Kid friendly. This restaurant has wonderful choices of wine, favorite bar drinks, a variety of beers, and berry lemonade. They have happy hour specials. Can't wait to come back again. This is one of our new favorite spots for dinner.

The Cioppino.. let's start there, the broth, the FRESH seafood!! The only other place I've had Cioppino this good? Venice, Italy 2001. Mic drop! The lobster ravioli, the Fettuccini Alfredo... And the dessert.. oh Sweet Jesus I needed a wheelbarrow to get out tonight!! The crème brûlée, the bourbon bread pudding... I asked if the chef was married!! The service and ambiance was impeccable and my questions readily and thoroughly answered as to source, technique and I got the meet the chef who trained in French cuisine. Amazing. No other word, just an amazing, amazing meal with wonderful family like ambiance!

One can dine onsite, there's also covered outdoor seating, or menu items are also available for takeout. We lucked out that we were seated without much of a wait and there was live music provided by a talented trio. Efficient wait person covering all the tables in the dining room. We both started with the house salads and the chicken parmesan entrees with garlic bread. Talk about flying under the radar in Seaview. The salads were fresh, chicken cutlets were succulent, and pasta perfectly al dente. Props to the kitchen crew! The Homie was able to indulge in an icy Coke and a slice of Nutella Cheesecake garnished with hazelnuts. The refrigerated pastry case selections looked enticing, but I was pleasantly full. Great find but without the crazy busy lines at other spots.

You can watch the bar pilots head out to navigate the ships to the Pacific. It was my birthday and somehow we got one of these special tables. Service was perfect. I didn't get anyone's name, but when we put my name in and came back at our call time, we walked in and the woman, walking through the restaurant, said, "Hey, Mindy." A nice touch. Our server was also just right. I got the Negroni melone because I'm a sucker for Negronis. It was decent, though it would have been much better with a gentleman's cube. The hubs got a blood orange cocktail that was really yummy. We started with the ricotta and preserved tomato crostini, which was excellent! Hubs ordered the sablefish and I ordered the ravioli with chard. Both were fantastic! The sablefish was exactly, perfectly cooked. It had skin on, but easy to eat without if you're not into that. Ah, so good! The ravioli was so delish! The only thing missing was a sip of limoncello at the end of the meal, which you'd receive in Italy, but otherwise deliziosa!

We heard that the place usually is very crowded and the wait can be long. So we tried to get there earlier for dinner. Positives: -the food was once again amazing. I can see why it's crowded and for good reason. The spot is a little smaller and probably the best Italian spot in town. We had meatballs last time, I remember it and it was hard to order something else this time. I got the lamb and my wife got beef ragu. We also ordered lasagna and the deviled eggs. -the prices were reasonable which is why we ordered so much. -the food was so good that we surprisingly finished everything we ordered. My lamb wasn't too gamey and the meat was extra tender. My pasta was a little undercooked. The lasagna was very meaty and it had an herby seasoning to it. I would say it's the best lasagna I've ever had. The deviled eggs were very good too and at a great price. You also get free bread which was also good. Negatives: -the wait might be long, but it's definitely worth the wait Overall 5/5 We will definitely be back on our next Astoria trip. It's a must for us.
