    Brined chicken pappardelle
    Linda T.

Great, small Italian restaurant in the heart of ocean park. We enjoyed the great service by the staff. Very welcoming and kid friendly. They have daily specials and their usual menu. We ordered pappardelle with brined chicken, ribeye steak, cioppino, and the raw oysters they had on special. The steak was a bit on the salty side, but had good flavor. We will definitely be back when in the area.

Very cute restaurant! We started with bread, Olive oil and balsamic- the bread was light and crusty. Then a sliced beef bruschetta which was also tasty... I had a mushroom pasta- mushrooms were hand picked... so good! My mom's lasagna was excellent as well- so many beautiful layers. We will def be back!

What a fantastic dining experience! We were absolutely thrilled to find such a wonderful spot in Ocean Park. The restaurant is very small and cozy (definitely recommend making a reservation), with an open kitchen concept that adds a fun, personal touch to the evening. We ordered the chef's special -- a perfectly cooked piece of fish served over creamy risotto with a fresh, dressed arugula salad -- and it was outstanding. We also shared the boar pasta dish and the sliced beef bruschetta, both of which were full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The fresh baked bread with a delicious balsamic vinegar and olive oil for the table was a great start to the meal, and we enjoyed a bottle of Pinot Noir that paired perfectly with everything. Service was excellent -- friendly, attentive, and welcoming -- and the chef even joked around with us a bit, which made the experience even more memorable. Our total bill was around $150, and it was worth every penny. Highly recommend this place! We're so excited to finally have a dining experience of this caliber in Ocean Park. We'll definitely be back!

Small intimate space. Definitely get a reservation. Maybe 10 table dining room. This is our second time there. We had the same server as last time. Stellar and I mean stellar personal service. Food was over the top delicious, huge depth of flavor and you can tell there is an attention to detail that doesn't rival anything else on the peninsula. We asked for a glass of Sangiovese wine to share but the server suggested a better red and boy was he right! We also got to have a great one on one conversation with the chef. He knows what he is doing and if it's the special, just order it. It will be amazing. Every time we come back to Long Beach we will be going here no matter what. It's a must try for this little ocean town.

Had a great Valentine's Day dinner! Beyond good at a reasonable price! Chef Paul and staff did a great job

Your info on this page stated you were open Monday. However the message. Center indicated you are only open Thursday thru Sunday? My kids will be here for Monday and love Mycovios . I would love to bring them

Lori, I’m sorry but we are closed Mondays during the winter months, Thursday-Sunday 4.30-8pm, and we are open both Xmas Eve and new years Eve and Day. Thank you

Hello, do you serve non-alcoholic beer? My husband enjoys beer but cannot have alcohol due to medications he is taking. We have reservations for this week and I know he would enjoy having one or two with his dinner.

We don’t, but I’ll see if I can grab a six pack at the local thrift way for you.

There don't open until 3pm, so we were starving because we didn't have breakfast or lunch. We started driving at 10am so we would arrive at noon for lunch. But found out the hours while in the road. Waiting until three was actually worth. We walked in and nobody there. The a few tricklers, then an hour later place was filled with the senior crowd. The food comes a little slower here because everything is made from scratch, and you can totally tell that nothing is from a can. The baked Brie topped with roasted garlic and fig was delicious. The bruschetta was one of the best tasting I've had. The tomatoes were sweet topped with the balsamic reduction, and the bread it was on was made just right for it. It was so good that we made sounds like...foodgasm! Then the focaccia that came out piping hot and was soft in the inside that we dipped in the oil balsamic mixture was lip smacking good, then they brought out Caesar's salad!! What it all came with our meal! We were full before the entree came out. I got the ribeye with veggies, my friends got the scallops with pasta, the other chicken cacciatore. All our meals were delicious but was too much we had to take home the rest, then eat the rest for a late meal. Our second dinner hahaha! The other gals got dessert there. I don't know how they managed. One had the chocolate mousse with cappuccino drink. She was in heaven, the other the pineapple upside down cake. I had to take home my cheesecake with raspberry sauce. I forgot to take a picture of it when I got home I gobbled it up before bedtime. The place was small and quaint. A hidden gem in Ocean shores. I'll be back!

You can watch the bar pilots head out to navigate the ships to the Pacific. It was my birthday and somehow we got one of these special tables. Service was perfect. I didn't get anyone's name, but when we put my name in and came back at our call time, we walked in and the woman, walking through the restaurant, said, "Hey, Mindy." A nice touch. Our server was also just right. I got the Negroni melone because I'm a sucker for Negronis. It was decent, though it would have been much better with a gentleman's cube. The hubs got a blood orange cocktail that was really yummy. We started with the ricotta and preserved tomato crostini, which was excellent! Hubs ordered the sablefish and I ordered the ravioli with chard. Both were fantastic! The sablefish was exactly, perfectly cooked. It had skin on, but easy to eat without if you're not into that. Ah, so good! The ravioli was so delish! The only thing missing was a sip of limoncello at the end of the meal, which you'd receive in Italy, but otherwise deliziosa!
