Hot fudge sundae with superman ice cream
    Evan B.

Deliciousness - 3.75/5 Happiness - 5/5 Ba Roos has a bunch of ice cream flavors to enjoy. The ice cream was clearly fresh and completely delicious. My kids devoured their sundae in minutes. The prices are very reasonable too for such high quality ice cream. I had a milkshake with brownie ice cream that I wouldn't order again. The milkshake was blended too finely so I didn't get any chunks of brownie. But the finely blended brownie just made the milkshake a bit gritty. Next time I'll stick with the ice cream so I can get the full flavor and textural effect. I also stopped by for a mocha the next day and it was delicious. They did a great job balancing the chocolate and espresso (I like my mochas on the sweeter side). But really, the staff sells this place. They are all young teenagers who were enthusiastic and provided quick service. They never seemed frazzled and despite epically long summer lines. They fulfilled each order with great speed. I also liked that they had two tip jars, one to vote for sharks being the coolest aquatic animal and the other for dolphins (I voted team shark because, I'm sorry, NOTHING is cooler than a shark. I love dolphins but they don't stand a chance).

Sunset Bowl with PB instead of nutella

Some of the best acai bowls in Bethany!!! I love that you can customize the bowl with different toppings. My only gripe is that these bowls can run you $12-13 and there are other places in town that are just as good at the $10-11 price range. Either way, I will still be returning because of the convenience of location and yummy acai!

    Cow Patty double size.
    Karen G.

The single is equivalent to two large scoops of ice cream. The double is equivalent to four large scoops. My husband and I shared a double of cow patty. It was very good. My daughter had pomegranate blue chunk. She said it was "really good". It was pomegranate, blueberries and chocolate.

People forget that Ba Roos is a great and convenient place for coffee, bagels, acai bowls in the morning. Just bike down if you're staying in Sea Colony it's right there on the corner. Lots of seating outside. Oh and the ice cream is awesome too!

Guatemala Ripple flavor was really good

Plenty of parking outside one of the Sea Colony gates. Lots of ice cream flavors and all of the ones we tried were great.

Guatemalan. And that is "one" scoop
    James S.

Prices are decieving with a single scoop at $5. But they are quite generous with these scoops as in the picture. Note while staying in Fenwick/Bethany area, it's expected to throw a little more cheese than usual. Fortunately the quality of ice cream was amazing, as we had a scoop of Guatemalan and Coconut each.

Inside was really worse. Upon walk in the damp must was a smack in the face. Costs were ridiculous. Even a vegetable brush was $14? I enjoyed winding my way through the maze of goodies. Some of the things that caught my eye were Polish pottery, pretty reusable tote bags, cheeky kitchen gadgets and funny cocktail napkins. They also had sign art, candles, throw blankets, funny socks, adult greeting cards, yard flags and air plants. It's a very eclectic mix of merchandise. The store is a bit tight in spots so I'd recommend against bringing a gaggle of people, big purse or stroller.

March 2026 Review for the NEW Fabulous Lounge!…read more Bethany Beach, Ocean View, & Millville has a wonderful NEW coffee lounge and lunch spot! But it's also not so new since it's the same wonderful place we all fell in love with years ago just now bigger. If you want to see how much I love this place, Kristina & Sean, and learn more about this amazing restaurant, plus all they do for the community, skip and read below my review from 2023 for the old location. It's a heartfelt unsolicited freakin novel! But this review is for the NEW LOUNGE space just added. I'm obsessed. Love a cozy living room? How about one that's tucked away almost like a speakeasy? Want fireplace vibes? Fluffy cushions, comfy chairs and couches? Places to put down your mug and put up your feet? Check, check, and check! ALL the checks. Same great food & same great service. My girlfriends and I like to gather monthly in the mornings for coffee to celebrate our birthdays. It's not always easy to find a large enough areas to seat our 8+ group but this lounge is perfect! I sometimes order ahead with the TOAST app so that if there's a line my Latte is ready and paid for. My friend ML is gluten free and swears by Kristina's GF home made pop tarts. The pictures say it all - the vibe is sick! Which is young speak for adorably cozy, comfy, and cool!
