    Veggie omelette with home fries!

Wow! Best omelette and pancakes I've ever had! Fresh ingredients, great service. I cannot recommend more!

First time at this cafe! The lox bagel was really good, the salmon pieces were super thick and fresh. The sauce on top was really good, maybe a bit too much lettuce but I just took some off. Service was good. I wish they had an espresso machine here, no lattes available.

Cheesesteak omelette and I can't remember the name of my sandwich (turkey, sprouts, other good stuff).

We had lunch at the new restaurant just down the road. Good food, good coffee, friendly servers. The only nitpicky complaint is the lack of atmosphere, so don't dine here if you want someplace romantic. Their sandwich selection is different and creative. We'll definitely be back!

They were super busy but the service was on point. Food came out hot and everyone enjoyed their meal. Had the B.E.L.T on sourdough bread.

Honest the goodness fresh food served with a smile. Excellent options for breakfast or lunch. Portions are perfect size and the food is very tasty. It gets very busy for breakfast and you can expect to possibly have to wait for a table. Open eating area that can get a bit noisy.

Their chalkboard. 'All home-made' was true for biscuits at breakfast; brioche rolls at lunch.

very good food and terrific service; so good for breakfast we came back for a lunch/dinner during their last hour (3-4pm). Not fancy, but spotless and with large windows showing off all the crepe-myrtles. Brioche rolls accompanied the excellent seafood dip. The Reubens were perfect.

Friendly staff and fresh food. Ordered breakfast and everything was great. Try the tomato jam!

I am more than excited to find this gem of a restaurant 10 minutes from my house! They have only been open since April of this year and not sure why I'm just finding them now but so grateful I did! The atmosphere, food, people and servers (thank you, Mark! You were awesome) I met this morning were outstanding. Their approach to food is "no boxes, no cans, just REAL food". The owner has put his passion in this place and it shows! Can't wait to come back again and again!!

Dinner is a Must! I'm always surprised! Ambience warm and staff is outstanding. Daybreak is our weekly go to. This was our first dinner date. Choices!!!! Thank you

The service was top notch and the food was much better than your average diner fare. The pancakes were very buttery tasting which I loved!!

We were given a table where we could look out over the golf course. Our server, Rachel, was extremely friendly. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich and my friend ordered the Crabby Melt. Both sandwiches were tasty. The fries were very good, and there was a huge pile of them. The food came out fairly promptly. After that, more tables were filling up and it was harder to flag down our server. We decided to pass on dessert, but my friend ordered a cup of coffee. That would have been the obvious time to bring the check. However, although we waved at the server several times (she was in the other room chatting with patrons) it took forever to get the check. As soon as we got the bill, my friend gave her cash. She disappeared and was gone again for another long stretch. By the time we got change and were able to leave, the memory of the tasty food had mostly disappeared. So my rating would actually be about 3.5 stars. It definitely started out as 4, but keeping happy patrons waiting too long at the end tarnished the experience. So we enjoyed the lunch but the service still needs a bit of work.

The intimate, eclectic atmosphere made us feel right at home and added so much character to the evening. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The rack of lamb was cooked to perfection, and the sea bass topped with fresh crab meat was one of the best seafood dishes we've ever had. To finish, we shared a locally made key lime pie (and some port) that was simply out of this world--the perfect ending to an incredible meal. The owner, servers and staff were energetic, welcoming, and genuinely fun, making the entire experience even more memorable. A couple of things to know before you go: it's a cash-only restaurant, and reservations are highly recommended. If you're looking for an unforgettable meal with incredible food and a cozy, charming atmosphere, don't miss this hidden gem! We received a phone call when we were just four minutes late for our reservation. We apologized, as we ran into traffic from Delaware, and they told us to hurry up - not to drive carefully. First red flag. When we arrived, the manager immediately berated us for being late, as I hustled to check in with the hostess, saying "we're here!" We explained that we understood their seating policy and would be sure to leave before the next reservation in two hours time. The strange part? The front dining room and bar was completely empty. The confrontation felt unnecessary and immediately made me feel unwelcome. The food was good, but not exceptional enough to overcome the poor hospitality. The much-hyped "no printed menu" experience also fell flat, as many of the dishes were the same ones we were served during a visit one year ago. The duck, the lamb, key line and bumble berry pie. I was also surprised to see the manager working behind the bar and throughout the dining room in open-toed sandals. Whether or not it's permitted by the restaurant, I found it unprofessional and unsanitary for someone overseeing food and beverage service. I used to look forward to celebrating milestones at The Grove, but after this experience, I hope to take that tradition elsewhere. There are too many outstanding restaurants on the Eastern Shore that know how to make guests feel welcome!

Where to begin......beef on a stick and chicken on a stick apps....both overcooked so bad that I can only assume the chef went outside for a smoke break while they were submerged in old cooking oil. 1 bite of each and into the trash. Kung Pao Chicken - I asked for white meat and just peanuts and scallions. I was told "no" because that would require "too much chicken" in the dish if he couldn't load it up with other veggies. We settled on just onions. It was like eating chicken in soy sauce water. No flavor, chicken was chewy and gross. Into the trash. The pan fried dumplings - store bought dumplings that were cheap and had no flavor. At least these were edible, but I could only manage 3 before they too went into the garbage. Bad enough so far? Here's the worst part. Hot and Sour Soup - was so thick and coagulated you could literally cut it with a knife. And it was hot, making it even more disgusting. My son tried it and immediately got up to spit it out and go brush his teeth. I literally spooned some out and it sat in my bowl like it was a flan. I've never seen anything like it. Straight to the trash. And finally, you can't mess up fried rice, right? WRONG. We opened the container and the rice had a grey color I've never seen in food before. See attached picture. I studied it up close because I was so curious how another human would "cook" that and send it out the door with a customer. I refused to even try a bite it was so nasty.
