The service was amazing! It was my first time and the staff were so welcoming, I was impressed! Loved the chips and salsa, and their bean dip was delish! I got the jalapeño chicken dish which was yummy. Although I could use way more spice because it wasn't spicy at all.

I love Lupe's!! It's always yummy- very consistent! I moved away to a place that doesn't have Tex Mex, so of course, while in town visiting it's a must do! The queso and chips are delicious. Smooth cheese and light crispy chips. The beef fajitas were amazing. Their beef is tender and flavorful. The tortillas are the size of your face and made thin enough to not be too doughy but will hold your food in. The fajitas come with cheese and sour cream which you usually have to pay more for at other places so that's a plus. Service was great and friendly. It's a nice chill vibe. I'll always come back!

Chicken Flauta platter, included chips, frijoles, salsa, and margarita with tajin on the rim: excellent!!

Within 5 minutes of being seated, I had ordered food, beverage, and a to go order before the kitchen closed and this beautiful meal had arrived with chips, frijoles and salsa included!! Melanie made me feel like a princess, and the authentic atmosphere made the food taste even better than I imagined! Worth it to go out of your way to enjoy the ambiance, food, service and experience in Katy, TX!!!

Lupe's is always a hit for my family! The fajitas are the best in Houston. The chef has it marinated to perfection for every bite. The customer service is always great as well. The staff is very welcoming. The only issue is the wait time. It's a bit longer than my liking. However, that doesn't stop me from coming back.

Esta Noche es la Noche margaritas are the bomb!!

Ambiance is loud but I got a corner in the rear where I was able to somewhat escape the crowd. Music is Lively and the space feels happy. Service by Leo is great. She smiles a-lot, which I love . The bus boy is super fast and helpful. The food is very tasty, we shared the pick 4 and it was just enough for 2. Next time I will ask for extra gravy and onion on the enchiladas!! Had a nice quick dinner. Margarita was the Esta Noche $14.00, might pass next time only because I tend to drink spirits with healthy homemade mixes. BTW sent back the guac in the pic, on my budget and value seeking dining it was $3 too much.

TLDR: If you've got no other choices... ok. But whyyyyyy would you choose to go here?! Visit: Weekend (Dinner) Order: Large Grand Gold Margarita- 7.2/10 Average. Not good. Not great. Adequate. Puffy Tacos: 7.2/10 Crispy fluffy texture of the shells were great, but everything else was mediocre and bland. The great value version of Tex Mex. The Pace Picante of Salsa. 5 staff members at the entrance with no greeting. Acknowledging the guests who walked in behind me like I was a ghost. Walked into the bar with no direction. Never offered chips when everyone around me got them automatically. Ordered margarita and the bar tender took other orders after me, made their drinks (dropped off their chips) and came back to ask me if I ordered salt or no salt (when he had previously confirmed twice). Salsa is garbage. Diced tomatoes in tomato water. Bland. Beans served with chips... okay. Ugh it was a chain of service errors and lackluster food...

Placed order on the phone for steak fajita with bacon wrapped shrimp. Had to wait a few minutes for them to get it together. They returned back with a huge bag! I had to ask if it was a meal for 1! All items were packaged nicely and with care. The meats I had in my dish was chicken, beef and shrimp. All were amazing except for the chicken. It wasn't bad just not as amazing at the other items. The peppers, salsa, grilled peppers were excellent. They even left a few seeds in the pepper to make sure it's spicy! Only complaint was they left out utensils!!

Best beef fajitas in town! Don't order anything else, and you'll agree with five stars.

Really love the pina colada in pineapple and the beans they serve with chips and salsa are to die for. Darn now I'm hungry.

A special shoutout to Ulises, who made our experience exceptional. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and fast without ever making us feel rushed. Since it was our first time visiting, they even surprised us with complimentary corn on the cob, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was outstanding and came out surprisingly quickly. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. My husband was also impressed by the attention to detail throughout the restaurant--even the restroom was stocked with everything you could think of, from toothpicks to mouthwash, which was especially appreciated after enjoying all the delicious corn and black beans! It's rare to find a restaurant that combines amazing food, excellent service, and thoughtful hospitality so well. We left already talking about our next visit, and we can't wait to come back and try their margaritas. Highly recommend!

We had one of the worst dining experiences ever at Ambriza La Centerra. After living in Houston for…read more15 years and dining all over the city, this was by far the most disappointing restaurant experience we've had. What made it even more frustrating is that we've been to the Cypress location many times, and every single visit there has been exceptional -- great food, great service, and consistently enjoyable. Unfortunately, the La Centerra location was the complete opposite. We waited over an hour for our food, only to receive the wrong appetizer. The fajita plate arrived cold and without rice, beans, or tortillas. We sent both dishes back. The replacement appetizer -- ceviche tostadas -- finally arrived, but it was overloaded with lemon to the point of being unbearably sour. Meanwhile, there were still no tortillas, rice, or beans in sight. No drink refills, no updates, and barely any service during the entire wait. After another long stretch of waiting, we finally asked the server what was happening, only for her to return and tell us the kitchen was closing and they no longer had tortillas, rice, or beans available. At that point, after nearly 1.5 hours, we walked out with nothing but a to-go box of fajita meat. To the manager's credit, they removed the appetizer and fajita charges from the bill, but the experience itself left such a bad taste that it completely overshadowed the gesture. Extremely disappointing, especially compared to the excellent standards we've experienced at the Cypress location. Sadly, we will not be returning to this location.

Enjoyed the margaritas and excellent customer service from Katie. She expertly managed multiple tables, including an 8 top with ease and a smile. The restaurant was pretty busy since it was graduation week. I ordered the ground beef soft tacos with a side of black beans. My friends had the Marisco Bowl and a platter. Management was helping out and delivered our food. All the food items were hot and plentiful. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. Multiple members of management stopped by to check and see how we were doing and to chat briefly to make sure we were having a good experience.

Our fajita meat today was old, and smelled off. We requested medium but it came beyond gray, and zero char- it was sweaty. This showed up within four minutes. The rice was dried out. The beans were, too. As I said- two thirds of the time is great. Sometimes bad visits happen. Then comes the annoying dance: I do *not* want a manager. I sure didn't need an argument (!) from the server about cooking theory. Not looking for free food. We were very hungry and now have to go find another restaurant. We paid and we left. All done. No desire to keep playing roulette with which experience we can expect, and the server pushback was the kicker. You'll be fine without us.
