Today was a lesson in always check your receipt! I specifically said a chicken taco when I ordered. When I arrived to my home I opened my container, and it was shrimp tacos. Thank God I'm not allergic to shrimp. I called Dripped Birria in Katy to inform them. My thought was, surely I got someone else's order. The person that answered said, "OH no, sorry. You can bring it back!" That was a hard no for me. Why? It took me 8 minutes to get out of the dang parking lot onto the feeder and another 12 minutes to get home. Needless to say, I ate the tacos. They were good, but not GREAT because I ordered chicken. I decided to check my receipt, and low and behold the cashier rang up the wrong order! I didn't notice because the chicken tacos were the same amount. If I decided to try Dripped Birria in the future, I'll go to the one on Westheimer. This wasn't a good first experience with this location!

No for me. $14.99, each taco has 5 tiny pieces of meat. My toddler could finish this. For 1 adult, I was STILL hungry.

1. As an adult, you will be disappointed and still be hungry for a $14.99 combo (not including a drink). I promise you, you will go hungry. 2. Should not be called street tacos. The amount of meat and cost in the "street tacos" isn't street tacos. You're seriously better off elsewhere because you'll get ripped off here. 3. It should be called hipster tacos. 4. Try once and maybe try the other restaurants here if this disappoints.

The service was amazing! The food is absolutely delicious and very flavorful. The vibe is standard. They share dining with two other restaurants. The seating is like cafeteria style.

Receipt for happy hour purchase.

I have been wanting to try this place and last night I was going to but Yelp incorrectly had their closing time as 12am. They are open from 11a-4a. The restaurant is large, they share a sitting area with Main Bird Hot Chicken and Bun Slut(Burgers). The air conditioning is amazing! It was clean and so were the restrooms. Jada helped me and she was amazing! She took me through all the various options and ensured all went well through my lunch. Happy Hour : (2) Tacos, corn tortillas filled with choice of birria beef or chicken, cheese, chopped onions, cilantro, pickled onions, a side of red & green salsa, and a lime wedge - served with a side of consome soup and Elote(Corn, Cotija Cheese, Mayo, Sour Cream, Tajin & Valentina) Agua Fresca drink, choice of Horchata, Pineapple, or Mango (+1 refill) All for $10.81 Happy Hour times/days Monday All Day Tuesday - Thursday 2p-5p Food was good, and the Elote was very good. If you haven't tried Dripped Birria, this is the place to try.

Taco Tuesday special!!!

Wonderful customer service from Jada the manager. The taco Tuesday special was affordable and gave a good amount of food. Tacos were juicy and Elote had so much flavor. Will be back again!! 10/10

Birria egg rolls, I ordered beef and pretty sure they gave me nonexistent chicken. Taste was TERRIBLE.

Customer service is terrible, guy standing behind the counter didn't acknowledge us. He spoke to The people that walked up seconds later though. FIRST red flag and we should have walked away. Food was terrible. Don't waste your money. If you know what birria is supposed to taste like, DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Don't waste your money. Meat had no flavor! It was probably boiled and soaked in consume before putting it on the tortilla. No seasoning, no flavor. Very disappointing and not worth the money spent. I don't know who's back there cooking, but it's not my tio's lol

Food is terrible, more so flavorless, and the "soup" is bitter. More pickled onions on it than meat.

Tried Dripped Boris for the first (and last) time today. We wound up tossing the birria egg rolls out after one bite.

A special shoutout to Ulises, who made our experience exceptional. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and fast without ever making us feel rushed. Since it was our first time visiting, they even surprised us with complimentary corn on the cob, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was outstanding and came out surprisingly quickly. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. My husband was also impressed by the attention to detail throughout the restaurant--even the restroom was stocked with everything you could think of, from toothpicks to mouthwash, which was especially appreciated after enjoying all the delicious corn and black beans! It's rare to find a restaurant that combines amazing food, excellent service, and thoughtful hospitality so well. We left already talking about our next visit, and we can't wait to come back and try their margaritas. Highly recommend!

We had one of the worst dining experiences ever at Ambriza La Centerra. After living in Houston for…read more15 years and dining all over the city, this was by far the most disappointing restaurant experience we've had. What made it even more frustrating is that we've been to the Cypress location many times, and every single visit there has been exceptional -- great food, great service, and consistently enjoyable. Unfortunately, the La Centerra location was the complete opposite. We waited over an hour for our food, only to receive the wrong appetizer. The fajita plate arrived cold and without rice, beans, or tortillas. We sent both dishes back. The replacement appetizer -- ceviche tostadas -- finally arrived, but it was overloaded with lemon to the point of being unbearably sour. Meanwhile, there were still no tortillas, rice, or beans in sight. No drink refills, no updates, and barely any service during the entire wait. After another long stretch of waiting, we finally asked the server what was happening, only for her to return and tell us the kitchen was closing and they no longer had tortillas, rice, or beans available. At that point, after nearly 1.5 hours, we walked out with nothing but a to-go box of fajita meat. To the manager's credit, they removed the appetizer and fajita charges from the bill, but the experience itself left such a bad taste that it completely overshadowed the gesture. Extremely disappointing, especially compared to the excellent standards we've experienced at the Cypress location. Sadly, we will not be returning to this location.

Enjoyed the margaritas and excellent customer service from Katie. She expertly managed multiple tables, including an 8 top with ease and a smile. The restaurant was pretty busy since it was graduation week. I ordered the ground beef soft tacos with a side of black beans. My friends had the Marisco Bowl and a platter. Management was helping out and delivered our food. All the food items were hot and plentiful. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. Multiple members of management stopped by to check and see how we were doing and to chat briefly to make sure we were having a good experience.

Our fajita meat today was old, and smelled off. We requested medium but it came beyond gray, and zero char- it was sweaty. This showed up within four minutes. The rice was dried out. The beans were, too. As I said- two thirds of the time is great. Sometimes bad visits happen. Then comes the annoying dance: I do *not* want a manager. I sure didn't need an argument (!) from the server about cooking theory. Not looking for free food. We were very hungry and now have to go find another restaurant. We paid and we left. All done. No desire to keep playing roulette with which experience we can expect, and the server pushback was the kicker. You'll be fine without us.
