I owe this place an updated review. Since switching back and forth from Madison, Westfield, and even Montclair for a bit, I have settled on my favorite lash tech in Madison. She does a great job that last a long time and my eyes never burn in the process. It really is all about finding your person. Absolutely phenomenal experience. The store itself is beautiful and clean.The staff are extremely friendly and go out of your way to make sure you're comfortable. And my lashes never looked so good and so full. I have extremely short, thin, and fragile lashes and extremely sensitive eyes. I was nervous to get them done because last time I had my lashes done with a different company they lasted about two hours before my eyes were irritated and I rubbed them off. After I told them that, they put glue made specifically for sensitive eyes and the captivating 2d allure set lasted longer then three weeks. Not once did it get irritated. read more

4 STARS Getting Lashes applied is one of my guilty pleasures, and Lure Lash never disappoints! While having gone to the awesome Montclair location in the past, I've most recently started going to the Madison location because it's conveniently closer to my office. Lure Lash is comfortable, relaxing but most importantly CLEAN. I've gone to ANNA (the owner), ANITA, and KASSANDRA and all have been very nice and make me feel comfortable whenever I'm there. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a fave tech, but Anna and Anita are wonderful and really filled my lashes up to the best they could with my selected CAPTIVATING ALLURE level (about 80lashes/eye) and my lash retention has been pretty good with both techs. While Lure Lash is a smidge pricier than your typical salon, you're definitely paying for the clealiness and knowledge of their amazing techs. Parking is street only to my knowledge so just get there a little earlier to get a spot out from. read more

Overall, the service and results were very good. The shop is clean, although it appears that they are still in the process of opening. It's a large space but only 4 beds or so. I arrived early and was greeted immediately. My technician, Camilla, wasn't there yet and arrived about 10 minutes after my appointment time. She apologized immediately so that wasn't a problem for me. The reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because I'm about a week out and my lashes don't look as full as I would like. I think that I'll try the 2D for my next trip to create my desired results. I'll definitely return. read more

Less than a week and my lashes are practically gone. Not even noticeable that lashes were even put on to begin with have had lashes done at other places and they have lasted way longer. The first day my lashes were falling off. Taking off my contacts 3 lashes came off at a time. I take care of them very well and am extra careful with how I wash my face. Very disappointed. read more

I recently got the sultry allure lashes and my initial visit was disappointing because a lot of lashes fell out within the first few days. The technician definitely did not even put on 90-100 lashes that are included in the sultry allure look. I've been getting my lashes done for 3 years now and I felt like my money was wasted so I called to see if someone could fix my lashes. Cassandra offered to fix them for free. It's been 2 days since I got my lashes done and I absolutely love them, only a few have fallen out but they look amazing. I went here for a lash lift and tint and I came out with a decent but not amazing lift on my left eye and barely any lift in my right eye. I contacted them in a few different ways to ask for a refund because it looks horrible if I don't do them, which defeats the whole purpose of me getting them done. No one will get back to me though. I totally understand that sometimes mistakes are made however, to completely ignore customers who don't receive what they pay for makes me never want to go back here again. read more

Honestly, I really wanted to love this place. I absolutely loved how my lashes came out when I initially got them done for my birthday. But the next day I woke up and my right eye was missing all of the lashes and my left eye had many bald spots. Thankfully they honored the 24 rule and redid my lashes for no charge. However, the day after I woke up again and had a majority of the lashes missing. It has been 4 days and I have absolutely no lashes left. It's kind of ridiculous considering I paid a good amount to have my lashes last longer than 4 days. Also I was really disappointed that the lash tech was blaming the way I sleep as to why all my lashes were missing. I've gotten my lashes done many times before and have never had this issue. It was very disappointing because I had to spend my birthday with the majority of the lashes gone. I would save my money and support a small business who cares about lash retention because this is pretty ridiculous. read more

This was my first time going to a Lure Lash location & I was initially mpressed. I had previously gone to a different place in February to get my lashes done for the first time ever, but they were new & very disorganized so I decided to try Lure Lash in Madison. My original appointment was for a 2D captivating allure set, but Cassandra (my technician) said my lashes were already pretty full so I wouldn't really need the 2D. I told her we could do the regular sultry set then. We went over style, length, & curl. At first i was getting kind of annoyed because i like a little drama & she kept recommending more of a natural look. In her defense, I should've told her I wanted drama but I trusted her judgement & went for the "cute" look on the chart. She told me when we were done if I wanted to change the style we'd be able to. An hour & a half later, her next client got there (early) & when I was finished I wasn't really satisfied but I didn't want to cut into somebody else's time. I paid $150 for the sultry set but she told me I have about 80-85 lashes per eye & the sultry is supposed to be 125 lashes. I got closer to what you get for a captivating set but paid for a sultry. I wasn't as satisfied because I wanted them to look a little fuller but now I'm doubting how much it's really worth. I'll give them another try & explain more what I want when I get a fill. The salon was very clean, everyone was professional, & the women were all very sweet. *UPDATE* The owner contacted me after seeing my review to go in this Saturday. I have more concerns because a lot of the extensions have been falling out & I haven't even rubbed my eyes once since getting them done. When I got them done at a different lash bar, it took at least a week before some started to fall out & these started falling out after one day. read more

When I call to make the appointment the girl told me I would be able to have the option between captivating and sultry and when I got there the girl that worked on me said she couldn't do the sultry extensions because she had to leave at seven. She was very unfriendly and cold and ended up putting ridiculously long lashes on me to the point where I looked like an idiot. She only asked my the length i wanted AFTER she taped my eyes. Then she said if I wasn't happy I could come back the next day Which I wasn't going to do because I told her that I was flying out of state the next day. I was freezing the whole time and she never offered me a blanket which I realized were there the whole time after it was done. When I mentioned about the blanket not being offered she rolled her eyes and gave her coworker a "look" Never going back again and wasting that much money on ugly extensions. Ok so I am a regular at lure lash I took a break for a bout a year from getting lashes done due to personal reasons. I made an appointment for their new location (as I've been to all their locations) I was so HAPPY with my services last night OMGEEE! this madison location is absolutely BEAUTIFUL....comfortable beds, very clean and good music. They had to clean up some bad lash work I had previously done at LASH HOUSE in livingston.... and she did it with no problem, I fell asleep and woke up with a perfect set of lashes. I just love this place! I'm so mad I cheated on them and went somewhere else and wasted a hundred bucks! lessoned learned) but if you want great lashes that look VERY natural, light on your eyes (you forget their even on) I suggest you come here for the best bang for your buck! parking is street parking but didn't have a problem finding a park. My lashes are a bit difficult because they grow crazy, but anna always tames them and makes them look great! whether you go to their montclair location, metuchen or madison location you'll be treated the same, you'll get the same service no matter who you see, there aren't any VIP rooms or different chairs, everyone gets the same service no matter what you're paying! they do have artist that re training that you get a discounted rate but once they finish training you pay the same as every one else, they are inexpensive based on the comps in the area but the work is superb as is the customer service.... just had to write this review, especially because the new location is just beautiful and the surrounding area is great, if you get there early there is plenty of things to do to waste time steps away from her boutique. :-) read more
