I came here after seeing all the great reviews, hoping to sell some scrap gold while prices are high and maybe build a relationship for future sales. Unfortunately, I left very disappointed. I brought in 42g of 14K, 5g of 18K, and 17g of 24K gold, plus two small diamond rings. Based on the day's gold price (around $4,130/oz), my melt estimate for the gold alone was about $6,075. Their offer was $5,650 total, including the diamond rings -- not great, but acceptable, so I agreed. Then the son said his father needed to "confirm" the price. The father came out, lowered the offer to $5,100 without explanation, and accused me of trying to rip them off, even though we had already agreed on $5,650. He raised his voice and dismissed the prior agreement entirely. It felt like an old-school pressure tactic -- bringing in an "authority figure" to undermine the deal and make the customer doubt themselves. Make sure to take photos of all your items and get a second opinion about appraisal value. And, ask them to give you an appraisal value for each item. Have them give you a detail list of all items they buy from you that is signed. They are crooks and wouldn't return my family items When I decided it was a mistake to sell them within 24 hours because their sentimental value was more than the small amount of money they gave me, they refused to give me back all of my items and only gave me back the worthless things. I called in advance and was given quotes for silver coins of average quality. When I arrived, Mark cut the amount he was willing to by more than half. They basically lure you in with market prices (I checked with multiple dealers), and then they try to steel your product by paying a a small fraction of actual value. Never again! Total scam. Was contacted to come in with my antique jewellery, under the impression that this man knew about antique jewellery. Also, I was under the impression that this establishment was cash for jewellery. (I specifically asked that question) NOT cash for gold/silver. These are 2 completely different things. Cash for jewellery is also eluded to on their website. I was offered $40 for a $1,500 Georg Jensen bracelet, a $500 Peruzzi Necklace and $400 Peruzzi bracelet, Sterling bangle, And 2 pieces of Siam Niello, vintage jewellery. And this man knew nothing about antique jewellery. I had the feeling that once he saw the pieces, he changed to "cash for gold/silver" to get the pieces for the cheapest price, only to turn around and sell them for the names and stones... Which is pretty much cash for jewellery. I was misled and lied to and they tried to completely cheat me. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. I was looking to sell some gold and of course in this area there is no shortage of buyers. I already knew exactly what I was selling and didnt want to deal with a street market type of haggling situation. I made a call to them and they were courteous and followed up with me daily until the day of our appointment. The sale was friendly but professional. I felt I was treated fairly and with respect. I believe they value long term customer relationships and that's who I want to do business with. We agreed at a number quickly and they paid cash on the spot. Complete disappointment. Stay away from these guys. Emil appraised a gold ingot and offered $200 which we accepted. He call an hour later to he want to talk about the ingot and could we come back to the store and renegotiate. Basically he want his money back. He never apologized or admitted he mistake on his part. Did not have a good experience with these people. I sold two pieces of gold and Fima the CEO used the pennyweight to calculate and the gram price to pay me. When I questioned it and tried to get him to quote me the correct gram weight of my items he fast talked and did something with the scale. I thought I was being quoted the correct gram weight and price and I wasn't. I was cheated out of over $400. The gram wt was approx 42 and the dwt or pennyweight was approx 29 what he kept quoting.
