Parking is a bit tough in this part of town, but there are some street parking spots available on nearby streets. The space itself is tucked between a few other establishments. It is small, with tables for groups of two and four, which is perfect for the students and staff passing through. The staff is always very helpful and friendly when I stop by! This spot is known for its Bahn Mi and Rice Bowls! I always get a Bahn Mi, which comes in small (plenty for one meal) or a large (perfect for leftovers or to split). The pork is my favorite, which is always tender, flavorful, and piled high! The sandwich also comes with a plethora of traditional veggies, including carrots, cucumber, jalapenos, and cilantro! The crusty, crunchy bread really makes this sandwich! I like mine with pate and mayo for a bit of creaminess! Never hurts to add a side of their freshly fried cream cheese wontons! One of my favorite Bánh mi spots!! They have so many options, noodle salad, appetizers, teas, and banh mi! It's an easy lunch spot, and easy grab after a long day. This was a classic spot for me on campus. I'd often feel revitalized and deeply replenished after a Thai tea and a chicken banh mi here. Was walking by this restaurant and had to stop in because the smells outside were too delicious to walk past. I ordered at the kiosk and chose the salad bowl. You can customize it to your preferences but I had them make it without any substitutions. That was a slight mistake on my part since there are fresh jalapeños cut up on top that were a little too hot for my spice level. Despite my jalapeño ordering error, the dish still was very fresh and flavorful. I ordered the chicken and it was tender and well seasoned. The fish sauce I ordered on the side added a slight sweetness to balance out the other flavors. She was trying her best, but really seemed to be struggling. I had the chicken Bahn Mi. I liked the flavor of the sauce and marinade for the chicken. Also, the veg was fresh and plentiful. Besides that flavor is good nothing extra. Lu' has a lot of locations around, this one is so so. Wouldn't go back for a sandwich. My only critique: they have 2 sizes for sandwich choices. We got the small size for around 7$. It's just how the market price for a banh mi has shot up from 3-5$ to 7$ for small size and 10$ for a larger version. This is the newest location of Lu's and they serve fresh Vietnamese Banh Mi made to order. The inside is modern with art of scenery from Vietnam with lots of natural lighting. The banh mi artists load the sandwiches and the banh mi dac biet and banh mi thit nuong (special and grilled meat) are pretty good. I love that they load up on pate and butter. The Viet coffee is also pretty solid and the staff are super nice. read more

Ordered the BANH-MI sandwich with Pork. They were out of pork. Asked for chicken got beef. 4 salads in front of me waiting for avocado. Lady on till at a dead stop because the phone is more important than the patrons in front of you, you know the ones who ordered food before you picked up the phone. I had the roasted pork banh mi with all veggies and mayo and soy sauce. The veggies are very fresh, and the roast pork was good. The bread was slightly crusty, and tasted very good, but it could have a little more 'chew' to it (if you know French bread, you know what I'm talking about).
