I don't live close, so I don't get go as much I would like. I get migraines from scents so I have to actually smell it before I buy it. I came here with my family and had such a pleasant experience. I don't recall the young ladies name( blonde, cool rings, and adorable). She was as so helpful and patient and kind. I asked for samples with my purchase because I get sick from smells and she didn't seem irritated like some others in the past. Now, I'm going to buy two of the products she gave me that I have tried and love. Thank you to her for turning me on to some new cool products. I wish more people were like her. read more

I just moved to Portland and happened to come to this mall with friends who were on a separate mission. I knew Lord of Misrule is usually back in stores around his time and went in today, even though admittedly I'm having a tough anxiety day (autistic and overstimulated in a new place) When I got to the counter I met Mimi, the manager, who first complimented my outfit and had a super kind energy, so I word vomited a bit and told her I was super anxious and having a rough day so that was an especially timely and kind compliment. She couldn't have been sweeter, and made my entire day. She made a little joke and sent me on my way with my little Lord of Misrule with kindness and care. I hope Lush recognizes the sweet and caring human they have working there, she deserves every accolade and has no idea how impactful her energy was for me today. 10/10 Lush experience. read more

One of the workers (Mimi) was super friendly and her attitude makes me want to come back often she was helpful I got some body wash and shampoo she described them with good information for each product. I usually love Lush and all of their scents, however today when I went in I was hoping for another wonderful experience but I wasn't even greeted. In my recent experiences I would go to lush with my friends and they would let me test the bath bombs by dropping it in a bowl of water. I understand that this isn't able to happen in every experience but when I asked the worker today if I could instead of a respectful response she was passive aggressive and just straight up rude..she said "well you can buy it and test it in a bath because if everyone asked then we would go out of business! and you already know how it works so obviously I'm not going to just show you again" and just laughed at me...right before me were some other kids who asked and she said yes so I don't understand what the difference is between me and them? I would've respected her if she was nice about it and not just a bitch. read more

Great skincare products. I have a few things I use from here regularly, so I find myself here every few months. I use a facial cleanser, their toothy tabs, a toner, their muscle rub lotion bar, and of course, their bath bombs and bubble bars. They let you try almost everything in store, and will give you multiple samples to take home. The salespeople are very friendly. They seem to sometimes run out of popular items, so maybe whomever is in charge of ordering misses a little bit on the inventory? Hard to know. I'm really happy with the quality of the products, so I'll be back. read more

This lush is absolutely amazing, all of the workers there are so incredibly sweet and helpful! Although there is one lady that went above and beyond for me. Alison has made my entire day by such a small gesture. I had mentioned to her that I have been wanting to try the bright side bubble bar while I was picking out bath bombs but I didn't go for it because I didn't want to spend to much! Well she comes up to us at the register and looks in my bags seeing what I got and she came back with a sample of the bright side and a sweet little note! I am absolutely SHOOK. I love the concept of Lush and that's why I am so bummed to leave this review. I had an order delivered and it was a huge box of sadness. I bought 2 different soaps for over 7.00 per piece and they only lasted 1 week. The sample of foot lotion was supposed to smell like peppermint but is spearmint. The lotions I ordered were not conducive to lotion.They were really runny and didn't smell very good. I have better experiences shopping from Farmer's Markets. I won't be buying from this company again. I will stay local. read more

I used to shop here more often with my girlfriend, but the associates tend to be pushy to the point where I'd rather shop online. I work retail, I get it, but people should be told that it's okay to get off of a customers back and let them look. My girlfriend and I now shop online with their UK site, because the pricing is better despite the shipping and I don't have to be accosted by overly enthusiastic employees. I've heard the horror stories about how insane managers can get about "customer service" so I don't blame the associates. I am capable of lifting a sample to my face to smell it, and I hate it when people shove things in my face. Just dial it down guys, like 50 notches. read more

This place is always so organized and clean. The employees are very nice and helpful. I have no complaints other than the price. But you get what you pay for and this is good quality shizz that the girlfriend likes. I guess it's worth a trip to the mall to have her smell nice. Karma is a good scent that doesn't kill my allergies. Slather it on your loved ones. Get a pretzel at the food court while you're at it. Just kidding, don't. I have to write this review because my first experience with lush Clackamas store was outstanding! Travis was incredibly knowledgeable about all products. He asked pertinent questions and boom had my "starter kit" of shampoo bar , conditioner bar completely en pointe! Loved his direction so much I bought two shampoo bars! I recommend highly the Clackamas mall lush store and if you can get Travis consider it your lucky day!!! read more

Drove to Lush in Clackamas from vancouver with my sister in law doing a little shopping and we drive out there just to stop by lush. We've been going there for years. Loved the store on all of our trips however the last time we stopped in the atmosphere was quite a bit different. Now ive been in retail 16 years and out the the 16 years 15 years i held management positions. I feel like quite good a understanding customer service standards and working with the general public. When checking out the team member asks me if I'm signed up for the email program. This is the first time i had heard of it. My sis in law chimes in and tells me oh no your not its a newer program. THis is when the team member looks at her and has this blank passive aggressive expression and well as a condescending tone "ACTUALLY it's NOT new its BEEN OUT for a YEAR and a half" i just stood there in disbelief on how she was responding to a statement that wasn't even directed at her in the first place. Completely rude and uncalled for. A simple "oh they may have forgotten to ask you in the passed, lets get you signed up" would have been the way that one should have gone about handling it. Then when i was giving her my email she had asked me to repeat it twice and between the masks the music and other employees and or customers in the store she wasn't hear me at all even though i was speaking loudly through my mask so i slight pulled my mask off away from my face straight out still attached around my ear and it was only away about an inch. The team member with short black hair and black winged eyeliner start reading me the right act about how there was a mandate in place and that I need to put my mask back on. I tried to just say that you couldn't hear me and and she continued to shout at me about having my mask above my nose. I'm like are you seriously acting like this. Like have i been living under a rock For the last two years I'm well aware of a mandate in place. I wanted to cancel my order right then and there but i didnt. She then passive aggressively tells me "have a nice day" with this snide tone. It then at that point i took my masked down slight and told her to have a nice day as i walked out and she was still shouting across the entire store at me. I was complete blown away that this girl works with the public. ANd the funny thing is i filled out a survey and request to have a call back cause thats one of the questions they ask you on it and its funny how i never received a call. Ill tell you what if i had one of my employee treat a customer of mine like that i would want to know. Never going back. Completely uncalled for!!!! read more

I have severe hormonal acne and I really was nervous about going in to lush since my skin looks horrible but malissa was so friendly and nice and explain all the products and what's the ingredients and how it would work for my acne. The manager is a jerk, her name might be Savannah? I brought in a sealed shampoo to return, was told I couldn't return it, confirmed with customer service that I could return it, when I called to ask the people at the Clackamas location if I would be denied again they said no and I could return it if the item was halfway used. I used a 33.9 oz shampoo twice, couldn't have used more than 2 Oz and she was so rude to me, after getting my name right she kept messing it up and glaring/smirking at me. She made it hard to get help picking out face masks by ignoring me. read more

Love everything about this place!! I was going to the pdx location but the parking sucks! This location has more space for sure and friendly staff. I even got a surprise soap bar for free! The bath bombs and bath play doh are our favs. Smells amazing once you walk in and the products are good quality and cruelty free. They gladly give samples. read more

My friend is very sensitive to synthetic ingredients and cannot even walk near the store without getting a headache which makes me want to look into more natural alternatives like Leeloo soaps. I felt bad because I bought a couple bath bombs and he got a headache just from them being in a bag in the car with the windows down. The employees are very much bugaboos at every location because they have a boss (floor lead) looking over their shoulder making sure they keep asking you questions and telling you how amaaaazing everything is. I actually applied her a while back and made it through two interviews without getting the job. They said I did everything perfectly and the only critique I got was that it got quiet while I was scrubbing the managers arm in the demo portion. I did start asking her about her day at that point so I really didn't understand. It was a blessing I didn't get it though because it's a lot of standing and doesn't pay much. I was just wanting some temporary holiday work. I did find it irritating that they kept gushing over a girl that wasn't even looking for a job but was at the interview because the manager talked her into applying. Sad for those that needed work but in the end I'm glad I didn't get it. Seriously bummed. I spent the last 5 years working at LUSH (2 culture shop locations) and decided to try entering a shop without saying anything about my work history (I'd never done this before). I wanted to experience what it would be like to enter a store and get the LUSH experience as a customer instead of a staff and was very sad about what I saw. I was greeted when I walked into the store, but then no one came over to check on me even though I stood in front of haircare for a long time. The shop wasn't sure busy, and I was excited about seeing the new products that were out. After looking at haircare, all the other sections, and looping back to haircare, I eventually pulled someone aside to ask about the new haircare. I told them what I liked and what I had tried, and received zero demos or really any explanation about the product at all. She made me some samples of what I asked for and while she was gone, I recommended some products to my mom who was with me (which she bought). We made our way to the cash register where I told the cashier (different sales associate/she had medium length dark super curly hair) that I had 5 black pots to return. I put them on the counter with what we were buying and before even opening the pots, she looked at them and asked me if I'd washed them out. I told her I didn't scrub them, but the stuff should be out. Then she started opening all of them (she still hadn't said hi, looked at me, or introduced me to any products at the till) and told me that, "Next time, you need to do a better job cleaning them out. The label says you the pots need to be CLEAN to return them" and directed me to the label. I wanted to say something about working for LUSH right then, but I didn't, in hopes that being a customer she'd redeem the experience, but she didn't. I left feeling super sad and bummed out. I kept thinking to myself that this isn't the LUSH experience, it's not luxury or treats, and the experience left me feeling worse than when I entered. I love LUSH, and this wasn't LUSH. read more

So far I have been obsessed with your products since I discovered Buffy. Unfortunately my last visit was awful, when I needed help getting a face mask I asked an employee for help, but I was completely ignored, I looked for another employee who could help me but there wasn't except a cashier who was busy. I asked once again if I could get a face mask and was told that I couldn't be helped until some white customer just like the employee herself was attended. This made me very upset, all the Lush stores I had been to weren't this rude and impolite! I am most likely not returning to the Lush stores as much as I love them, I'm sure I can find another good cosmetic store. I hope you make sure you hire non racist employees if you don't want to lose any more customers.
