The host was friendly and seated me quickly- within 3 minutes without an appointment. The station was dirty with nail polish and filing residue. The salon floor was littered with nails and trash. I even witnessed a technician throw litter on the floor. It became clear cleanliness was not a priority. I had to ask the technician to use new files and buffers. The towel was also soiled. When I asked for a clean one, it too was soiled and stained. The technician began nice enough, then turned passive aggressive when I gave recommendations to avoid common frustrations. Then, she succumb to some of the same mistakes. The final straw was when she broke skin buffing out the 7th polish mistake. Needless to say, I cancelled my pedicure and this would be my first and last experience here. The salon standards do not reflect value for the community or the experience they provide. read more

I've come here maybe 4 times over the last couple of years hoping they have better technicians. The first time I came, this very pretty lady did a FLAWLESS job on my SNS full set. She was quick, she was pleasant, she was the shit!! I guess she's gone bc I haven't seen her. Now when I come, the wait each time is at least 30-45 mins, the nails are done in a hurry and the techs don't care. I showed the last nail tech that there was gel on my skin & he literally filed my skin as opposed to re-doing the nail as it I was an inconvenience to point out his error. They don't engage in convo with you neither do they communicate period. If it wasn't convenient to my job, I would never come here. Also, they messed up my eyebrows but that's more me because I flinched when the wax was too hot. Beautiful salon, service not so much. read more

Honestly.. I hate leaving bad reviews. But I didn't like this experience at all. I was say at a table right in the front- okay, no biggie- to a table with dirty towels, nail clippings, dirty tools, etc. Unsanitary to the max. I was disappointed to say the least. I took the towel and shook it on the floor so the nail clippings of SOMEONE ELSE wouldn't touch me. The woman who was doing my nails rushed so fast- no clean tools used- I could've said something sure but she was on the phone the whole time, and if she wasn't on the phone she had headphones in. She filed and buffed so hard I was in pain, but she had a grip tighter every time I winced. It's just sad because in this day and age getting personal care isn't cheap, but when it's grossly done and unsanitary, makes it not even worth it. read more

Today 9/30/2021 I had an appointment with LINDA to do a fill in. The manager comes to tell me that LINDA does NOT want to do my nails because the last time I came I let BAO (who sits next to her) do my nails. First of all LINDA was busy and I had a flight to catch and wanted my nails fresh. I said WHAT?? I would like to know if LINDA and I are supposed to be in a committed relationship to where I should miss my flight and wait for her to do my nails. I got a basic short acrylic design and had my toes done with a solid gel color and ended up paying $112 I came with a friend who also got the same thing acrylics with a simple design but just regular nail polish on her toes. This was literally the worse nail experience I have had in a very long time. I got a pedicure and sns nails. The woman who did my pedicure barely touched my feet and skipped multiple steps I asked the woman sitting beside me which pedicure she chose ( it was the same as mine) her tech did multiple steps mine did not. When I went to get my sns the tech HENRY rushed through it. I had to tell him to dip my nails again since you could see through the powder. He did not try to make my nails precise he did not clean the extra powder from around my cuticle and when the polish was drying he tried to rush me so he could leave early. We were visiting from NY and found Lush Nail Bar to accommodate the 6 of us. They were very polite and friendly! We were taken care of right away. Some of us started with pedicures and some of us started with nails. I hadn't had my nails done for years but decided I would give it a try. I've had bad experiences in the past. I can't remember the name of the guy who did my nails but he was friendly. Very quiet but not in a rude way. I had a picture of what I wanted and he wasn't rough with my nails and got them done pretty quickly. I got a full set of acrylics with gel and they came out so perfect! This is my second time going but the guy who did my nails doubted his own work every step of the way. He knew. I started a full set on this visit but his application of acrylic was thick and wide. In between he would shake the jar of powder and dip that brush to hype himself up again. His shaping was terrible and he knew. You know how they twist your nail and look at it angle to angle to make sure it's right..he'd move on but look back at the previous nail. Every nail tech knows not to buff before applying gel polish or the polish will peel. Y'all know he buffed. He did polish pretty good up until he got to the clear coat. The clear coat seals the deal for me. It was thin and patchy so now that my nails are dry you can see the dull blotches. I can't return. I gave them a two because they have the look, the feel and color selection but that's about it. read more

She scrub my feet well, but polishing was not her best strength. I was disappointed in how she polished my feet. So my medi, I soaked my SNS off. But this picture is the after effect a week later. My nails already had a fresh set but I was told by the guy that he had to take off all my nails and put another fresh set in order to get the style I wanted. Okay kool no pressure I showed him what I wanted and when I say he rushed and I went on 3/5/22. My nails are already lifting and look like I had them for 3-4 weeks. They are also not very clean/sanitize. if you go to the back to have your lashes done there is a nasty table that they want you to lay on that has stains and spots on it, didnt want to change or put a clean towel for your head to lay on! the person that did my nails used drillbits that had not been clean/sanitized I did not see one person wash their hands the whole time I was there. I have never encountered that type of service before. I got there before the shop open at 9:30 on a Tuesday, did not open until 10 & left @ 1pm. the young lady that open the shop was very rude irritated and spoke rudely & disrespectfully to three people I witness. I ask for Lashes, that person was very rude I went to get my nails filled in I started my Fillin and then asked me to get up & move because her late appointments came in late. and I had to wait for another tech to do my nails. He was asking the guy doing my nails for the next step in my pedicure. Both guys were very inexperienced. I felt like I was letting my brothers practice doing a mani/pedi. I wanted leave but I really needed my nails done. I convinced myself to stay. The shape of my nails is some weird rectangular shape. It's not square or coffin. The rhinestone stones were place anywhere. Rhinestones were done by a girl that I thought was going to fix this experience and she made it worse. If you charging $45-50 you need to have professional nail techs. Not you dads, uncles, and little brothers that have no background in nails. To sum it up my nails and toes were supposed to match. I had my SNS manicure done here over the year . The staff - I don't considered them nail technicians because I don't even know where they obtained their nail care training from - is a hit and miss. On certain visit I'll get a good staff and at other times I'll get a staff with a bad attitude and doesn't consider your needs. Being a trained cosmetologist myself , I know how nail treatments are done. And some staff don't even know how to shape the nails properly. It was shaped wrongly in a skewered way and my nails will looked awful. I visited this salon as it is the closest to where I live and I'm in a time crunch trying to my nails done; otherwise I'll go to another place . Like I mentioned- getting a nice staff is a hit and miss . Make sure you don't take what they tell you as final, always consider what you want first and also be sure the staff do a good work for you before you leave. read more

The girl who did my gels nails soaked my hands in baggies of acetone and then did not have me wash the acetone off before polishing. Four days later my gel polish was peeling and a week later my nails need redone. I even asked her about washing when she started to paint and she said "not yet." Only at the very end of my manicure did she have me wash them. The staff was not friendly and before I finished washing my hands, she had another person sitting in my chair with my handbag sitting there opened. read more

SO upset with this place. I called at 10:02 am to make an appointment for 4pm with Peter (they never asked for my number). I left work early, rushed over to them and when i arrived they told me that peter was overbooked and they didn't have a number to call me at. I told them that they never asked for a number. She said there was nothing they could do. I asked if someone else could do my nails and she said "yes in 20 minutes". I told her I had to be out by 5pm to pick up my daughter from daycare. She said "sorry, there's nothing we can do". Didn't apologize for their mistake, didn't apologize for the inconvenience, didn't even offer something that would make me want to come back. NOTHING.
