I can't believe how late I am to the party. This was possibly the BEST acrylic set and experience that I've had since living in Atlanta. Period. After checking out their Yelp page and seeing all of the rave reviews (especially those from my fellow Elites), I felt comfortable that I was in the right hands. I booked this appointment on Classpass after a few months of strengthening my nails back up with regular manicures and missing my long acrylics. Booking via the Classpass app was incredibly smooth and there were a number of spots available that worked with my schedule. Located in Buckhead in a small plaza on a busy street, you'd really miss it if you blinked. I didn't check into parking around the back but upfront, it's pretty limited but they have about 4 tight spots right out front. I snagged one that I was able to drive right into vs. needing to parallel park (tysm) so it turned out to be a prime spot for me. I arrived just a few minutes prior to my appointment and when I entered the salon, I was greeted by a number of happy faces and friendly greetings. There were 4 or 5 customers being serviced at the time and I was quickly seated and prepped for my appointment. I was lucky enough to be paired with Nick and, wow. What a gem! The next time that I return, I HAVE to make my appointment with Nick, and Nick only. He was sooo friendly and sweet! I am (surprisingly) not super chatty on a regular day but he brought it out of me, lol. I swear he knows my life story now. He asked me so many questions about myself and told me about him, it was like chatting with an old friend. Nick was also incredibly patient as I figured out the length and style I wanted to go with and my gel removal. I decided to go with a natural tone and was being super indecisive on how to go about it, but Nick recommended the best process to get the shade I was envisioning. It ended up perfecttttt. It's like he was reading my mind! I walked away loving my set and Nick's newest fan. Along with my wonderful appointment, the salon itself was super clean and spacious. I came here to get my new job nails and toes done after being nearby for a doctor appointment. Parking is super easy--there is a large lot at the back of the building. I was immediately greeted as soon as I entered, and the bright, clean and calm ambiance was wonderful. I was able to get seated right away, and was immediately offered something to drink (wine). I appreciated how the staff was so calm and had a service-oriented approach. Even when I asked my nail tech to clean a line on my toes, she did so kindly and without the attitude I often observe other establishments if I you ask for a correction. It was a very luxurious experience for a great price, which included a salt scrub for my hands and feet plus an awesome massage. This is my favorite nail salon in buckhead, I've been coming for 2 years. The owners and workers are so nice. I always request Cindy the owner she's amazing. She actually cares about my nail health and will take the extra time and attention needed to keep my nails healthy, beautiful, and as requested. They work quickly and i hardly ever have to wait. Jen was great to help me with an ingrown toe nail that was bothering me while wearing shoes. Had instant relief and was out within time range provided. This was the first salon I tried after moving to Atlanta, and they had me hooked ever since. I've visited multiple times and days and they are always busy and are usually turning away walk-ins so appointments are strongly recommended. The shop is small, but the decor is classy. If you're lucky, you can score a spot right outside of the shops. But if not there's plenty of parking around either corner of the building. They offer you a drink (including wine) when you sit down, which is always pleasant. V was my nail technician and was so sweet, patient and talented with the designs, but she's been gone since at least September and no one can say if she's returning. Others are nice, but definitely not the same so I'lll unfortunately be looking for another salon and technician. Biggest pro is these were the longest lasting dip manicures I've ever had. Not that I'm proud of this, but on more than one occasion I've gone 4+ weeks without getting my nails done, and not ONE chip in sight! (At other salons, the dip would eventually crack and crumble long before due to show hard I am on my hands). I also typically got gel pedicures, and have never had any issues with any technician. Angela has my favorite though! My only complaints: -To choose your color, they give you several rings with hundreds of thin sticks with nails on the end of them. So while having a large color selection is great, it's extremely hard to keep track of which colors you like or don't when browsing. Something that you could flip through would be much easier. Also, a lot of the numbers indicating which color are rubbing off, so more than once I've had to choose a similar color because the one I wanted can't be identified. -The manager addresses many customers by first name with a warm welcome when they come in. While presuming these people have been longtime clients--I've been at least 7 times and she has never addressed me when I walked in at all, much less got to know my name. I ignored it while working with V, but if she's gone this contributes to me not returning. read more

I am so happy to announce that serenity was serene! The location was easy to get to but the parking was another situation. If I weren't lucky finding a spot in front of the door I'm not sure where I would park. But since I was lucky I will carry on. Since my last experience at another place was just terrible, I had to give someone else another chance. The reviews for this place were ok so I decided to give them a try and it was a great experience! The front desk staff was ok. I only came for a pedi this time which the person that did my feet was awesome. So sad I forgot to ask her her name. From the reaction from other staff, she seemed to be the newby. The woman who did my girlfriend's nail was described as "nasty" and "abrasive." The technician didn't affix the nail correctly, left gobs of god-knows-what on the undersurface, had to be told to remove it, scoffed & harrumphed at my girlfriend, and threw my girlfriend's hand off when she was done. I'm not sure if the cuticle clipper was dull or what, but she yanked them out instead of cutting them and my nails still hurt hours later. The no-chip came out great and they definitely did not rush on the services. -100 stars today! I cannot believe how extremely poor my experience was, while watching the employees treat other customers like the best thing ever since sliced bread. I Googled nail spas close to the hotel, this one was the closest. I called at 9:38am to inquire if 10a, 10:30a, or 11am would be available for an appt. The woman on the phone said 11am. I arrived at 10:57am, all employees were busy servicing customers. I was told to sit in the 1st pedicure chair. The chair was archaic: inadequate choices for type of massage, I am short so it failed to go to the spots I needed most, the chair only went so far up for my feet to be on the foot rest (it was problematic for the nail tech), and the seat itself was uncomfortable to the point of causing buttocks pain. I was NOT offered a "color wheel" to pick my color while I sat in the chair waiting until a man came to start my bare minimum basic "spa manicure at 11:26am. I should have ran out of there when I had the chance. He sat a bottle of Kirkland Signature water down on the counter next to me, but for the past 30 minutes I had been drinking out of my own spring water bottle. I was not given a choice, which from reviews I read and personally witnessed, they offered all the other customers water, soda, and even alcohol. The man attempting my spa mani didn't seem to understand the concept of "square-square" nail shape, and commented several times on my nails being too short for that. Then he asked if this was my first time here? Yes. Why? The nail spa I had been going to since 2010 has changed ownership not to my liking, and all of my favorite pedicurists are no longer there. I seriously regret for not giving them one more try after 13 years of patronage & loyalty. He asked the name of the place? I said the correct name. He condescendingly informed me he never heard of it, then once I said the alternative name then it was "oh no one calls it that other name why not just say that." I literally still find extra loyalty cards in other wallets and bags everytime I switch them out, and that's the name on the cards. Waste of a manicure for uneven rounded nails and poorly trimmed cuticles, no cuticle softener/remover used, waste of a scrub on my hands, lackluster 5-second lotion "massage." A woman started my pedicure at 11:46am. No one introduced themselves to me, so I do not know any names. This woman doing my pedicure kept snatching and jerking my feet, to the point where I was slouched down uncomfortably, until I used the pillow in my lap as lower back support. It's not my fault the seat would not move any closer forward. Bare minimal ingrown removal, I still feel them on both sides of both of my big toes. Oh, how can I forget after not getting to pick a color for so long, to me asking the man for more color options (he originally had only given me one color palette of lackluster pale nudes when I wanted red), to having a hard time choosing between 6 different shades of red, to around 12:20p being told the red I chose is empty. All gone. And to pick another color. Meanwhile, an incredibly tall and loud man was sat in the seat next to me, announcing how hungover he is and how he needs a his usual drink immediately, and they were falling over themselves to cater to him. The woman doing my pedicure was horrible and did a terrible job. For some reason my total was $83 for the basic spa mani labeled as $19, the basic spa pedi I think labeled as $37 (no paraffin, no stones, no mask or scrub nor massage, etc), gel polish on my toes, nothing at all for my nails. $83 HOW?! I was not offered nor given a receipt nor itemized anything. I feel like I volunteered to let them rob me. I cannot believe I had such a disgusting, insulting experience based on the reviews they have. I would not be surprised if they have a way for the bad reviews to be removed. I seriously am devastated with how awful I was treated, and on my birthday at that. You know how most salons or spas try to upsell you, offer additional services? Zero, zilch, nada! Nothing was serene nor relaxing about this place. I have never in my life made such a bad choice in places for a service. They deserved no tip at all, and I have never in my life NOT tipped when receiving food, hair, &/or nail/body services. The pedicure was so bad, I was googling how to do pedicures, remove ingrowns, and which tools to order on Amazon while still painfully sitting in the uncomfortable hard seat. I could not run out of that nail salon fast enough! It was such a demoralizing, demeaning, depressing experience to be treated like less than, a bottom of the barrel, low class animal. read more

Visiting the A and found this place on Yelp, conveniently located across from our hotel. They get 5 stars from me for both their customer service and work. I like high class and this place met my standards. I got a gel manicure and signature pedicure. Ivy did an amazing job on my nails and she was the sweetest. I highly recommend her. I cannot remember the name of the woman who did my pedicure, but they're perfect. They also offer wine both red and white, practiced social distancing and wore mask, which I appreciated. Moving to a new place can be hard...Making friends, finding your way around town, and especially finding a good nail salon can be extremely difficult. After moving to Atlanta I had to find a new nail shop. After a quick Yelp search, I found Serenity nail and spa. How lucky was I that the first shop I went to was a winner! I've been to this nail shop 3 times...each time getting both a gel manicure and pedicure. I had a different nail tech each time and each time I was completely satisfied and pleased with the service and outcome. I believe they take appointments to avoid waiting. An affordable luxury experience! This is not my first time - more like my 5th. I came once with a friend before her wedding and keep coming back.. I love it. The manager is welcoming and remembers you. When you make an appointment, ( recommended but not necessary ) the staff will greet you by name.
