I normally wouldn't take the time to write a review about something like this, but I come to Luv Coffee regularly, pretty much every weekend, which is why today's experience really disappointed me. My drink was forgotten. Mistakes happen and I completely understand. What bothered me was the way the situation was handled. Instead of simply acknowledging that my drink had been missed, I was made to feel like somehow the mistake was my fault. I was then told the drink was being given to me "for free," when I had already paid for my order. I called afterward because I felt the way I was treated needed to be addressed. I was told they were sorry, and I appreciate the apology. But I'm still disappointed because I don't feel the situation was really made right. I'm sharing this because I genuinely like coming here and have been a regular customer. I hope someone in management sees this, because customers shouldn't be made to feel like they're the problem when the business makes a mistake. I would have much rather heard, "I'm so sorry, we missed your drink," than have the situation turned around on me. I'm not looking to be difficult. I just think regular customers deserve to be treated with kindness and respect, especially when something goes wrong. read more

I say maybe because currently I think they are limited on beverages that are blended. Their blended beverages they just add coffee and charge you extra for it. Wasn't expecting that I am use to already blended coffee drinks at other places. Place is really cute being built in an area that is making it feel like a hometown feel in walking distance from some places people are planning on living. Stopped by after seeing a couple reviews the staff were friendly and even gave a little advice on a few other shops in the area. I ordered the cinnamon brown sugar coffee and it was good after I stirred up the cinnamon in the drink real good. The Service was amazing they always have a smile on there face, ready to greet. The environment was peaceful and satisfying. I love going there when I need to work on school, it's pleasantly quiet so very good to stay on track. The only "Bad" thing is everything is very overpriced. I bought a Large Vanilla Blendy with a shot of Espresso and it was up to about 8 dollars. However many people could find this affordable, so I suppose it all depends on your perspective. Why 5 stars? Because my nitro was ideal. --- --- --- I always feel weird when I rate a coffee shop after experiencing one cup of coffee, but I think the 5-stars are well-deserved here. Here's why: 1) The vibe of the place is great. It's new, bright, airy and clean with cool looking signage. 2) The folks working here were incredibly nice. 3) They have nitro on tap. 4) Most importantly, the nitro is delicious. Sometimes nitro can have a bit of an odd taste to it that's hard to describe. I suppose it comes from too many fruit tones in the beans, but I could be wrong on that. Either way, the nitro I experienced here did not have any weirdness: it just tasted like a thick, chocolate-based coffee. I didn't even realize until we were walking up that there's a drive-thru. I would definitely be taking fairly constant advantage of that if I lived in the area. read more

I ended up buying a bag of coffee, an espresso shot, cold brew and a cortado. The beans were so smooth and creamy! I tend towards a bolder flavor and for a medium roast it hit the spot. Although close to closing the atmosphere wasn't rushed and there were still people conversing and enjoying their drinks. The Medium roast coffee is STOUT unless they accidentally gave me the dark roast. If the small size coffee is this large I would be intimidated by the large. Oh my, I'm going to turn into a hummingbird by the bottom end of the cup. Partook of the Toast Flight. Not really toast, it's un-toasted bread. My fav was the "veggie" followed by the avocado, then the fruit and last The Goat". Not that i didn't like The Goat it's just it was a heavier taste and thus should be eaten last. The crew was friendly and helpful. Seating was clean, good looking and comfy. We were 14 miles away from here on I45 but it was worth the trip. read more

I tried a straight double shot and it is not great espresso, this place probably satisfies people that are okay with Starbucks, but it's no third wave coffee shop. It is obvious to me that a lot of people like this place because they had a long line. It took 11 minutes to receive my order. I tried the jalapeño and cheese kolaches and they were okay. Luv uses too much packaging, they advertise 50% of profits go to help orphans, but it does not seem like they care about the environmental impact from their packaging/to go bags and boxes instead of recyclable paper bags. The CDC recently suggested that everyone regardless of their vaccine status wear a mask. None of the employees wear masks and I did not see signs encouraging anyone to wear a mask. The place was packed with people of various ages and no one had a mask, including multiple children who were clearly between the ages of 2-12. read more

Not too sweet and just the right balance of coffee taste. The staff was beyond friendly and explained that half their profits go to help orphans.
