I went to this coffee shop on opening day in Downtown Montgomery and I was quickly blown away at the service and uniqueness of the coffee. The TX honey iced latte is a classic for me but I also enjoy their seasonal menu. Any nitro tea they have is delicious too! The seasonal cold foams are amazing.. I literally lick the cup and lid afterwards. Kade is so kind and literally rememberers both my typical drinks down to the sugar level. His wife and the newer employees are also very sweet! We also tell our friends that are visiting from out of town to stop by and they are blown away. I love where they are located and the place has really caught on. Wilderlove Coffee, you have my heart. I happened to be in the area, searched for the closest coffee shop, and found this place. It completely made my day. I ordered the seasonal Ruby Heist, a latte with housemade grapefruit, bergamot, and mint syrup. It was one of the most incredible drinks I have ever had. It was bright, refreshing, and layered with flavor in a way that felt so unique and special. I truly wish I had ordered two. It gave me the perfect energy to head home and felt like discovering a hidden treasure. The person who served me was so kind and welcoming. They made me feel instantly comfortable and cared for. I even bought one of their shirts because I wanted to keep supporting them after such a great experience. The only thing that makes me sad is how far away they are from me. From the lack of businesses to the construction eastbound of Fish Creek you'll find me on 105 instead. That being said, this spot almost makes me change my mind! There's a reason why it maintains a 5-star average! This is one of those spots that "if you blink you'll miss it,"but if you're able to locate Meadow to Market, you'll know you're in the right spot to find this gem. The coffee cart itself offers friendly, near neighborly service, a photo opp with a truck, a few outdoor seating options with shaded umbrellas, and one heck of an aesthetic set up! I picked a favorite from the specialty menu, and while the name escapes me, you'll know it when you see it. This near mixology concoction is made table side with smoked cinnamon sticks. Not too sweet, cinnamon forward, perfect texture, and a bit of the smoke. My specialty latte was $8, but hey, it's a small business, and I asked for oat milk. No regrets! read more

Truthfully I was never a coffee fan before Wilderlove opened it's windows a few years ago but the passion and dedication the owners put into their drinks and the trailer in general have completely changed my mind on that. They keep it fresh and cozy by having a seasonal menu which generally has something for everyone, even the non coffee fans. They put a ton of work and care into crafting these menus and you can easily tell by the taste how much they pride themselves on their work. On top of that, they strive to make the experience as enjoyable as possible as well by being personable and charismatic with customers, getting to know them and even remembering their drink orders at times, being able to suggest drinks and just relating to them in general as not just customers but as fellow human beings. You can tell how much work the owners and workers put into this place. They are incredibly committed to their work and craft and it absolutely shows. Not only are kade and katie ( the owners ) the sweetest, most respectable people you will ever meet, but their business and their love for the craft of specialty coffee, is something that will just draw you in. Why 4 stars? Because my iced coffee hit the spot. --- --- --- Usually my go-to coffee order is a nitro. If they don't have nitro, I'll usually opt for cold brew. But the closest Wilderlove came was "iced coffee." It was a bit different, but I enjoyed it overall. However, I realize that this place specializes in fanciest coffees that are certainly not just basic and black. So a few days after my wife picked up our order for our first experience, I planned on going outside my norm and ordering something that was more for taste than caffeine. We came to visit the BBQ food truck next door, but unfortunately, the line to this coffee truck was long and did not move for several minutes. We ended up opting to leave without waiting, because it seemed like we were in for at least another 15-20 minutes. I'm hoping this is an outlier experience because I'd definitely like to try them again! read more

Moving up to the Montgomery area and found Wilderlove when up there working on our lot. I ordered an iced The O.G. It was so delicious. I was up there about a week later and got it hot with oat milk. Blink, and you may miss it. And you will regret it the rest of your life! Thankfully we turned around because we saw Meadow to Market and wanted to check it out. Good thing we did because we saw Wilderlove tucked away in the area just next to Meadow to Market. Surrounded by pine trees, next to Assay Station, it was a beautiful sight. The drink offerings were listed cleanly on round letter tiles. We asked a few questions and learned a ton. Found out the cold brew was used from beans from Tenfold Coffee (in the Heights in Houston). At once I was so excited because Ive tried Tenfold and think it's one of the top 2-3 coffee shops in Houston. After listening more to the barista, I ordered a Smoke Show and my wife got the Texas Honey Latte. We learned why the Smoke Show is perhaps the most popular item on the menu. He takes a pecan tree stump, then a blow torch to light on fire the cinnamon stick on top of the stump, extinguished it and then put the cup over it to trap the smoke. Then he filled it up with the latte. The result was undoubtedly one of the better lattes we've had, edging out anything we have tried in Houston, hands down. The smokiness of the pecan combined with the cinnamon gave it a higher complexity, definitely on another level. I would recommend getting it hot. To compare with the honey Texas latte, it was really good in its own right, but it tasted "thin" compared to the Smoke Show. The Smoke Show was simply so good, and the infused smokiness of the pecan stump made it stand out head and shoulders above the rest in the latte department. We would get it again in a heartbeat!! read more

Great personal service with hand crafted drinks. All syrups are home made also. They have cold brew and nitro as well as espresso drinks. All drinks are 2 shots of espresso. The nitro is lighter and more fruity than you might be used to. (Better IMO). No food items yet, but you can get pastries 100 yards away. They may have some food items later on in the future. Spotted a cool looking coffee truck in Historic Montgomery and had to stop by! I hate when a place has cool aesthetics but the product doesn't deliver, and that is SO not the case here. The drinks on the menu are creative and refreshing - I had a Topo Chai, which is a spicy brewed chai mixed with refreshing topo Chico, and my husband had their iced Texas honey latte, which was absolutely delicious, and an excellent choice on a hot summer day.
