Great coffee and even better customer service. I was told the coffee was fresh, roasted from Brazil and it did taste fresh. I only had plain black coffee, but it was delicious. I went through the drive through and it was quick and efficient. The outside of the coffee shop is very welcoming and obviously not a corporate type coffee shop. I'll definitely return when I'm in the area.

Love this little hometown gem. The coffee tastes amazing. Trixie is so welcoming and has any flavor you can think of for coffee creations. I love the puzzle table where you can sit and enjoy coffee and work on a puzzle while listening to the comings and goings and conversations. Such a cute interior as well. They do have a drive through, but you're missing out not going inside. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

The hot mocha was good, they definitely serve fresh coffee. I also had a apple & cinnamon pastry that was delicious (very rich). Parking is limited and they do have a drive thru. Staff is friendly. I was in Montgomery for a wedding and needed some coffee. This place was amazing! Trixie was very welcoming and helpful. I ordered an iced chocolate toasted marshmallow mocha. Cute little coffee shop with great service and great coffee.

Why arent there more reviews? This gem is awesome for those in need of actual coffee and espresso. We ordered the Trixie special, shot of espresso and a delicious looking shortbread cookie. Josh, our barista, was attentive helpful and excellent making the order. I judge a shop based on their espresso and the pour was smooth and warm going down. I highly recommend this shop to visitors since the steady stream of customers indicate the locals already know. Also pick up a pound of their home roasted beans, we did!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! This is easily the best coffee I've ever had and I've had a lot of local coffee spots. The owner Trixie is also super dope, win - win for sure! After the first sip we circled back in the drive thru to double up!!! I got a vanilla - cinnamon- honey breve latte. My wife got a salted caramel breve latte and a mocha coconut latte. Stopped here to grab some coffee while waiting for work to be completed on my truck nearby. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and offered some suggestions for my caffeine fix. Salted Caramel Mocha (Iced) OMG! So tasty. Paired with the banana bread.... Another level. I think what made the difference too was the cozy atmosphere and decor that just made you want to relax and enjoy the moment. All of the patrons that stopped by while I was there seemed to be regulars and weren't in a rush to leave, actually staying a while to chat about life. I just wanted to start off by this was the best coffee I've ever had coming from a coffee connoisseur! Followed by the wonderful hospitality that Trixie offered, she is an absolute joy to talk to and very welcoming from someone coming from out of town! Her little shop is the cutest And super comfortable to just hang out if you're looking for a little getaway. I have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience with Trixies coffee shop! I live in Spring Texas about an hour from Trixie's shop and my sister and myself Still daydream about making a day trip up just to go to Trixie's shop to grab the best cup of coffee :) read more

Wow where to begin! I'm so happy for my fellow Yelpers who have commented and posted about Trixie's. I was preparing myself for the morning as I knew I was going to need caffeine more than ever and I stumbled on this place. Although it was a bit further from where I needed to go the reviews and photos made me think it would be worth the drive. Well it was well Worth the extra time. This place is just adorable and I was blessed to have met Trixie herself and kick up a conversation. She is just amazing. I love supporting local and more so when they know what they are doing. I had a fabulous espresso with toffee and a tasty quiche. I left very satisfied and sad that I don't live in area but if ever close by you know I'll be stopping by to say hello to Trixie and getting a hug. Yes she gives hugs. We all need a good hug 20 out of 5 stars!!! read more

Wonderful friendly little local coffee shop. I would definitely recommend this place over the Starbucks a couple miles down. Seems to be a local place where everyone knows your name, adjacent to a chiropractor office. The coffee is delicious roasted in house daily. Definitely plan on going back often. I got a local favorite called the Kim and my son got one called the Aaron. Again both delicious. I love the Kim but definitely want to branch out. The owner is super friendly and welcoming, and informative. Highly recommend read more

Why 3 stars? Because this is a solid option when you're looking for really sugared-up caffeine. --- --- --- After eating lunch at the #1 rated restaurant on Yelp, down the road, we were in a serious carb coma and needed a pick-me-up. We saw Trixie's on the side of the road as we were driving into town, so I made sure to hit them up on our way out. If you're a person who likes your coffee to be more like a flavored hot chocolate with some caffeine added in, you'll love Trixie's! And I say that as a judgment-free statement, because I used to be one of those people. But I've recently transitioned to a person who likes his coffee black, or with very little additives. The menu at Trixie's is mostly full of the former. Because I wasn't in the mood for something to sweet, I went with an Americano. Unfortunately, it wasn't great. But I understand why - I basically went to a seafood restaurant and ordered the burger. An Americano was not the right thing to order at Trixie's. My mom went with something sweeter, but she didn't love hers, unfortunately. But with that being said, the people in here could not have been nicer and I definitely will root for their success moving forward! read more

I have only been here a couple of times with my sister. My sister goes here religiously. I have to say I would prefer Trixie's Coffee shop any day over the other coffee shops available. The coffee is amazing and the service is exceptional. The prices are average and that is comparing them to all the other like businesses. As far as ambiance, I have only gone thru the drive through and from there it's seems like a cozy little nook. read more

The coffee tastes good and is definitely better quality than any other coffee shop around. With that said, here's the reason behind my 3 stars.. Saturday morning 8 am, my husband and I drove through for a quick coffee. We are black coffee drinkers 99% of the time, but this day, we decided to try some iced lattes. A medium and a large. Both with a shot of espresso. When we were finally approached for our order and customary "hello, how are yous" were exchanged, her response was a short, "We are busy." It made us feel like we were being an inconvenience by driving through. Literally, almost 15 minutes later we were given our total of $15 for two iced lattes with one shot of espresso each! We asked how much these items were just to make sure we were given the right order. The iced lattes are a little more expensive than hot lattes? The espresso shots are only .50 cents extra. I just cannot justify ever spending 15 dollars on coffee. Especially, when I had to wait so long for it. Yes, they tasted great, but it's not the Taj Mahal of coffee. read more

I'm on the road ALOT the family and I own a lo al Montgomery based termite and pest control company I always have coffee from different establishments daily some of the time is okay some of the time its horriable. I have never had a bad cup of anything she and her employees make for me hot cold frozen all types of drinks just an amazing place with a great owner read more

While you can buy Jovi on Amazon and even through their website, having them in town ensures the freshest roast and some great conversation with the owners. I ended up with a bag of Marcala and their holiday blend featuring beans from Honduras and Antigua. The owners have traveled to the region and learned the preparation process there. When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

The desserts here are fun, unique, and very different from what you find at most places. My only…read morecomplaint is the lack of labeling for many of the products. For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

Given that weve had to give up so much in the coffee drinking experience we try and get what we do consume to taste as fresh as possible so weve turned to getting our decaf beans roasted locally. Weve tried a couple of places in Houston and just recently came across District Coffee. Once we checked their website and made sure it was swiss water processed and not bathed in paint stripper chemicals we decided to give them a try... the head roaster Alex is a humble guy who has a family operated business near the 249/Cypress area. I drove out to the District headquarters to pick up a pound of decaf and Alex gave me a tour around the facility which was modest, but professional. Before i left, Alex asked about the reason for decaf and i explained that we mix it with regular to create a half caff blend and with that he walked over to a bin in the shop and pulled out an additional bag of whole bean half caff blend of their signature roast and said it was "on the house" since i had come all the way out from the Sugar Land area. Wow. Now that was unexpected and also very nice considering gas costs near four bucks these days. We just had a pour over cup of that this morning and it was very, very smooth. If the regular whole bean decaf is anywhere close to the smoothness of this signature half caff roast we will most likely add District coffee to our regular rotation of coffees for our morning routine. I won't be a regular here because I tend to prefer espresso-based drinks and they do not have an espresso machine, but I would go here when I'm looking for a cold brew and I'm near the intersection of University & Texas.

I walk in and there is the person i had been hearing about, Dr. Claire smiling and eager to help. She asked how could she help, I told her exactly what i was going through, she said follow me, swiped the last bottle off of the shelf and said, follow these instructions and come back and see me in 10 days and tell me what you think. I am thinking to myself, I have heard how wonderful she is, but there is no way. So i took them across the street, did exactly as the bottle said and BAM, it started going away that quickly after an hour or so. These other reviewers talking about her decor and old produce are freakin idiots, WHO CARES, please go somewhere else then and get someone that has no clue on how to truly help you. If you want to to a place where the owner truly cares and knows better than most doctors and can generally help most of your health problems, PLEASE go talk to Dr. Claire and her daughter and staff, I GUARANTEE you, you will be back in her store thanking her for providing you her incredible knowledge and helping your day to day health be in a better place. My name is Austin, I came with my girlfriend Jessica!This was our first time at Trixie's and it makes you feel at home, not only that, but her shop feels "homey". She was very busy but still took her time and gave us all of her attention to make sure we were taken care of. Once we decided what we wanted the coffee was out in 2 minutes. My husband was researching the best coffee shops in Montgomery, and Trixie's kept popping up. We stopped in the other day, and it exceeded our expectations. Trixie was SO nice, and we loved the small town feel of the shop. Everyone knew everyone who walked in and went through the drive-thru line. I had the amazing pleasure of discovering Trixie's Coffee shop yesterday with my kids! The shop was adorable, clean and funky! The owner Trixie is so friendly and roasts her own beans that makes all the difference in her amazing coffee! Great coffee and location. Don't waste your money going to the pricy pinkies up coffee establishments. We had americanos instead of the classic drip with agave, and it was great! It is a nice place to go and find helpful tips, conversation, great WiFi, and the other business connected to this shop...you might even need those services. Check it out!
