    Coffee beans

New coffee shop only open about a month tucked away around a variety of sports complexes. The 2 story interior is a beautiful space with floor to ceiling windows and a variety of seating options including tables and couches. The menu has just about every coffee drink you've ever heard of. The employees were incredibly friendly and provided good recommendations. The beans are roasted locally at the Tomball location. The espresso in the mocha and cappuccino was perfectly smooth with a dark bold finish. The pistachio matcha latte was not sweetened which I enjoyed and had a lovely cold foam. We bought some beans to try at home and I would definitely come back here.

Fantastic little coffee shop tucked away in the back of the Woodlands (technically considered Magnolia). Plenty of coffee and breakfast options. Seating is casual and comfortable. Great spot to enjoy your breakfast and catch up on some emails.

So cozy inside with lots of comfy seating. Baristas were super helpful in recs! Had the breakfast sandwich croissant and it was amazing-don't skip the hot sauce

New Location of Barbarossa is stunning! The coffee tastes amazing -- rich, smooth, full of flavor and Latte Art which is my favorite. And the decor is gorgeous... warm, modern, and super cozy. It's already becoming one of my favorite places to grab a cup and relax. Highly recommend!

Tried this location after being disappointed by two other locations over the last several years, and I'm so happy I did because it restored the Barbarossa name for me! The space is gorgeous and cozy, the staff was kind, the pastry I had was incredible, as was the coffee. It unfortunately is more expensive than a chain coffee shop so it definitely falls in the "special treat" category for me, but it's probably pretty in line with similar places. Besides price, my only complaint is that it took quite a while to get my order and the place was practically empty, so I'd hate to be there when there's a crowd.

I do not like most mushrooms and didnt know this before coming but I still liked the coffee, as it seemed a little less heavy than traditional coffee for some reason. They have a decent food selection consisting of pastries and house-made latin/american dishes ranging from homemade chips and guacamole to Chilequiles. Note that all food is either vegetarian or vegan. The theme of the place is artisenal Latin/Mexican. If you dine in, you will receive your cold drink in a tall ceramic mug/cup most likely in an Aztec/Mexican style, while the hot drinks will be served in a mug and the food is served on festive plates. They play light Latin music in the background. They don't really advertise their syrups if you come in for an iced latte like me, but basically any of their artisanal coffees can be made iced or cold and you can choose from any of those ingredients/syrups in those choices to flavor your own custom latte. I also added a slice of banana bread from the pastry case adjacent to the register. The alchemist - a pretty light tasting latte with obvious notes of cinnamon. I liked it. Banana bread - more like a triple slice of bread. Its gluten free and very dense. A little on the dry side, obviously. Overall, I can see why they're highly rated. A must visit if you want to try some of the best coffee woodlands has to offer.

As expected though, the larger your order is per pound, the more you'll save (I.e 50 lb bag is way cheaper than a 1 lb bag). It'll make sense to buy in bulk and find friends/family who would want to split with you to save money. Location is in the middle of nowhere, but it makes sense since it's mostly a warehouse with a small reception area. Although you can purchase online, I like to browse in person and try whatever sample(s) they are offering that day. The bags they sell in the reception area are just some of their offerings. Check out their website for a complete list. The receptionist was kindly able to grab a small bag of the beans from the warehouse that I requested. The roasted beans that they offer oddly have the expiration date rather than roast date. This is surprising to me because the roast date dramatically affect the quality of espressos. For espressos, I recommend sticking with green beans and roasting yourself. They offer tasting classes for a fee, but not all the time. Check out their website for available class dates. Receptionist was very nice, helpful, and friendly. She was still very new at her role and was learning about coffee and beans from the beginning. Best of luck to her caffeinated journey!

I hate to leave this review because I've always had great experiences with Barbarossa Coffee,…read moreespecially at their Tomball location. That's exactly why this visit to the Spring location was so disappointing. When I first arrived, there was nobody at the register, which already set the tone for the visit. What should have been a quick stop then turned into over an hour. I ordered a smoothie and breakfast tacos, and even the smoothie took a while to come out. I finished the entire drink before my food even arrived. After about 30 minutes, I checked in with the staff and was told it was due to "miscommunication" and that someone was new, while the person who took my order was in the back on the phone. I had to repeat my order multiple times, specifically asking for no hot sauce and no salad. Despite that, after another 15 minutes, the tacos finally came out incorrect, with both hot sauce and a salad, and they were lukewarm, not hot. To make matters worse, the smoothie itself wasn't properly blended. What stood out most is that they weren't particularly busy, just a light morning crowd. I've been to the Tomball location when it was much busier, and the service there was still fast and attentive, which set a high expectation. Overall, the experience didn't match the premium pricing. I truly hope this location improves, but based on this visit, I wouldn't return to this one.

Kid friendly does not translate to letting your kids run feral while you talk with your friend. While I was there, there was a kid running up and down the stairs. All other patrons aside from mom kept watching this child as it was an accident waiting to happen. Then he was attempting to go into the actual cafe part (where the workers are) and thankfully the front staff was more attentive to the kid than its own parent. On top of that, this child was barefoot and putting his feet in his mouth. People need to do better Another thing that I observed was that a few customers were had their shoes off and putting there bare feet on the couches. This is a business not your home.

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.
