I ordered a large shaken espresso, and apparently they decided I needed to be awake for the next 3 business days because it had FOUR shots of espresso! Definitely the pick-me-up I needed! And can we talk about how beautiful this coffee was?! It had these gorgeous two-toned layers, with the espresso on top and that beautiful purple color at the bottom. It almost looked too pretty to drink... almost. The staff was super nice, friendly and welcoming. I also loved how much thought they put into the space. They have a cute doggy rest area, a little garden with plants, and an adorable kids' play area with an Indian teepee, a little ship and a playhouse. It's more than just a coffee shop. It's such a cute place to relax, bring the kids, or hang out with your furry friend. And if you order the four-shot espresso like I did, bring your seatbelt because you're about to take off. Restrooms were clean with a nice interior design. Customer service was amazing, I asked about them having "Light roast espresso beans" which the barista said they only have Dark Roast. Which is normally bitter for me, the barista was very kind and said If I needed more oatmilk or sweetner to let her know and she'll adjust the latte for me. She made it perfect and didn't have to adjust my iced "salted caramel Oatmilk latte" Pastry case was full of yummy options. Tried a slice of coffee cake which was served on an actual plate. The two times I've come here though were to study and outlets were either limited or far away from spots I wanted to sit. If you can get one of the few side tables it's great for studying though. The baristas are very knowledgeable and gave me good recommendations on what to order. The first time I went I got a banana latte which had a deep and strong roast flavor! Definitely kept me awake while studying. The second time I got an iced chai which was very spicy and had strong cinnamon flavor! This was my first time at this cafe, and I was thoroughly impressed! The staff is incredibly sweet and friendly, and they served up one of the best lattes I've had. I didn't try any food, but they do have a menu available.The atmosphere is beautifully decorated and relaxing, with just the right balance of laid-back background music and the soothing sounds of the baristas at work. It's spotless inside, and I loved the humor right at the door with a sign warning parents to keep their kids close or they'll be sent back jacked up on espresso ‼The amenities here are unmatched. There's ample seating inside and out, including a terrace, a fire pit (with wheelchair access), an herb garden, a kid's play area, and even a tiny dog park complete with poop bags. They also have at least three private meeting rooms available to reserve (though I'm not sure if there's a fee).As a late-night coffee lover, finding a high-quality spot with late hours is a game-changer. This was my first and last time coming here. I came in for coffee not knowing that there was a pop up bakery with cinnamon rolls. The place was total madness. The owner allowed a customer to police the line and she was rude and forceful. I thought as the owner he should have come out and made clear signs on where the cinnamon roll line begin and where the coffee line ends. As a business owner it is your responsibility to regulate the flow of your business. I do not appreciate being policed by the non employees that should be mindful of the way they speak to people. Likely a former residential home, or really unique commercial development, the exterior would lead one to believe that they're not in for much...but they are. Expertly punctuated with a variety of textiles, the interior is expansive and bright. Everywhere you turn there's a door leading to somewhere, and many spaces are available for office rental. At 2pm on a Monday, this spot was near full! Neither the coffee nor the customer service were the highlight of my experience, but I can't judge if that's typical from one visit alone. I'm certainly excited to try them again on a sunny day. I'm looking forward to getting some work done while bathed in the sunshine provided by their floor to ceiling windows. read more

Wow! I was looking for a new study spot and saw this one was right off 45 which is super convenient and i'm glad i stopped by. The service was friendly, they gave me some recommendations for my first time (I went for their seasoning Blueberry lemon refresher, yum!) and they have a variety of snacks and pastries which is also convenient. They're open pretty late for a typical coffee shop which I love! The environment is super chill, the decor makes you feel right at home. Outside they have a bonfire seating area along with other tables, what I enjoyed the most was the dog friendly area. They also have a mini play area for kids which overall makes it a very family friendly place. I'm giving this a 5 stars. The drinks were so good. The place is big and has high ceilings. The girls at the front were helpful and kind. The establishment itself gets 5 stars. however, I will have to mention that some of you parents need to get hold of your kids. Kid friendly does not translate to letting your kids run feral while you talk with your friend. While I was there, there was a kid running up and down the stairs. All other patrons aside from mom kept watching this child as it was an accident waiting to happen. Then he was attempting to go into the actual cafe part (where the workers are) and thankfully the front staff was more attentive to the kid than its own parent. On top of that, this child was barefoot and putting his feet in his mouth. People need to do better Another thing that I observed was that a few customers were had their shoes off and putting there bare feet on the couches. This is a business not your home. read more

If this place seems familiar, it's because it used to be Hebrews Coffee. We were glad to see another coffee shop took its place because the location is cute and parking is readily available! There were a bunch of tables available for us to choose from on a weekend afternoon too. I will say, the coffee is fine- we got a regular latte and a white chocolate mocha and the temperature and consistency were good but the coffee itself was nothing to write home about. I consider myself a coffee snob, and I can definitely taste when coffee isn't up to par. My taste buds can only handle good coffee, so I came in today to try it out--unfortunately, I was disappointed in so many ways. First, the service was frustrating. I understand that not everyone has strong listening skills, but when ordering, I requested a milk substitute, and it felt like my request wasn't really heard. That alone was almost enough to ruin the experience. But at the end of the day, what truly makes or breaks coffee is the beans. My drink was lukewarm, lacked depth, and simply didn't taste good. On top of that, I was charged $0.95 for the milk substitute. I took about three sips before deciding it wasn't worth finishing. I'd be open to giving this place another shot, but definitely not for the coffee. Walking into the 'old' Hebrew was bittersweet--there's history here, and it brought back memories. We stopped in about 7:30 pm after dinner as we have many times and this one was different. My girlfriend ordered a sea salt and ameretto lata ifes and I requested the same but blended. The barista stated that "We really don't do that because you can just get that at Starbucks, we can make it shaken, and the blender is were cleaned already. We can make it shaken and you would like that better." I replied with "thank you, I don't need anything" Mind you this was not a request that could not be completed. It was more like a refusal or it would not be. He could have said "The blenders are broken." and we wouldn't have known and I would have taken the shaken option and it never would have been completely off putting as this was. Came here to get some work done and I was stunned by how spacious this place was! The conference rooms, couches, and backyard area were quite nice. I've been to First Cup Coffee a few times now and every time keeps me coming back for more! I came during finals week super stressed out and was met with the loveliest service I've ever seen! The barista named Amelia gave me a flower and my drinks very quickly (which were delicious as well!)! She even was sweet enough to ask about my work which really helped me get all my ducks in a row mentally! I normally stay in the woodlands area every other month while traveling for work and stumbled on this place while looking for a coffee shop that opened earlier than 7am as I had an early morning meeting and they open at 6am! If you are a coffee drinker or self proclaimed"snob" they offer a solid cup of black coffee, anything else is flavored and that's ok and they have that too, but not a real test of the coffee's flavor (when you cup coffee it's black, sorry cream adders). If you want an espresso or other drink the beans are solid! Two drip options were available (both were good) and I was able to get a pour over, my go to method at home when not using the Aiden. If you are an aero press fan it is available too). The shop also has a variety of beans available if you want to take some home. If looking for a bite, they have a decent breakfast and standard pastry selection and all of the items I tried over the week were better than expected (quiche, breakfast sandwich, etc.). The shop has unique meeting and office spaces and is definitely a must try! Plenty of seating or quiet areas too! I was welcomed each day by a friendly and courteous staff and look forward to my next trip back! The location almost looks like you are heading into a residential area, but don't worry it's easy to find and has plenty of parking!
