We have a tradition within my in-laws: bagels and cream cheese on the biggest game day of the year. My in-laws split their time 6 months in Punta Gorda and 6 months in Denver. They just got back to PG and we were scrambling to find a bagel shop for our pick up this morning. Thank heavens for google and Luv My Bagel. OMG the CUTEST walk-up establishment. Instructions on the wall outside below their menu. Their hours are clear they are open four days of the week that's how successful they are - WOW. Also, they are open until 12 noon OR until they sell out. Think about that! My in-laws picked up plan, Asiago, garlic and Ohio bagels - bakers dozen/13 and plain, scallion, and jalapeño cream cheese. OMG just busted my daily net carb allowance and WHO CARES today - so worth it! We've perked my MIL's attention and we're so grateful for LMB in PG just a short drive away. Great breakfast bagel spot. Had an everything bagel with cream cheese, and my wife had an egg and American cheese garlic bagel. Both were delicious. We could tell by the line this is a popping spot in the morning. Ordered and the 2 person crew inside had them out in no time. Picnic tables out front to enjoy the sun or shade. Only open to noon. The have many varieties of bagels but they sell out regularly, so come early. read more

If you want those amazing New York bagels you can actually get them in Punta Gorda Florida! But they sell out fast so you have to hurry and get there early in the morning, once she's sold out she closes up shop. The bagels are seriously amazing, my new favorite is the French toast bagel with the cinnamon cream cheese. Service is always on point, and the place has outside seating as it's only a walk-up type of place. Ambiance is always a chill and relaxed vibe! read more

These bagels are delicious. Found this little gem of a place by accident when visiting from out of state. Ended up visiting 3 times the week we were there. On the weekends they have a delicious crumb cake available as well. We will definitely be back. read more

Bagels were good but this place has horrible customer service. They take an order, shut the window, make the order, open the window take the payment and give the customer the order. It's one person at a time and ridiculously inefficient. It's hard to tell who is waiting to or for an order. read more

This place also goes by the name LMB Baking, but I don't see any Yelp reviews under this name. Luv My Bagel is operating mornings right next to Working Cow Ice Cream. Bagels may be the best in Punta Gorda but they're not the best in the world. Good texture and freshness abound. The pumpernickel was a faded version of "real" pumpernickel. The cream cheese is a little loose for my taste but another schmearer may find the consistency perfect. There are a few benches upon which to wait for your order or dine in a pinch, but this is more of a take-away place. Service is fast, so fast they make a getaway when they run out. So don't linger in bed thinking you can luv these bagels for lunch. read more

The closest you'll get to a New York bagel is here. Come early because they sell out. The cream cheese is even like you'll get in New York. They have a variety of bagels and a couple flavors of cream cheese. Not the friendliest staff by far! My mother asked a simple question (she is elderly and a little slower then most). The lady had no patients and I think rolled her eyes a time or two at her. Just not impressed with the customer service or the product. We ordered 6 bagels with ONE of those to be toasted and cut so we could share. My mother asked if they could cut it so we both could have a top and a bottom with sesame seeds. The lady was aggravated and said "our bagels are LOADED with sesame seeds". This was FALSE. Coming down from New Jersey, finding a bagel place like home is hard to find. Stopped in for a Jersey Tradition, Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. Was happy to see actual Taylor Ham on the menu which is a big win. For being 1200 miles from home, breakfast was tasty and bagels were surprisingly tasty. For those visiting Punta Gorda and are looking for Jersey style bagels, don't think you will find much better than this place. read more

Best bagels in town. I've been here 3 times in the past week. Make sure you get here early or they will run out.

These people have no idea what they are doing. They take 1 order and then make it before they will take another order. They could easily take multiple orders while making multiple bagels but apparently that's too much for them. There was 3 people in front of me. So the wait was 45 minutes. Went to Waffle House across the street, ordered, ate, and left while guy in front of me was still in line. read more

I really wanted these bagels to be the best around. But I was so disappointed. Got an egg, bacon and cheese on pumpernickel. The bagel was fresh enough but had zero flavor. The egg had the consistency of a hard boiled egg-clearly not cooked to order. The cheese was orange American. I paid almost 7 dollars for this mess. Hard pass. read more

Ok....the bagels are marginal but the service is TERRIBLE. I felt like the Department of Motor Vehicles has better service. This business is understaffed and the staff that's there is unfriendly and slow. Don't bother- go to Publix- the bagels are similar and the people are nicer. read more

im in love with their bagels. I get the garlic bagel with regular cream cheese but i put the garlic pieces in the cream cheese to create a garlic spread and it's so good. They always have my order right and fast. I have recommended my family to try it and they love it too. read more
