I don't know. But let me tell you a little bit more about the decision you are about to make. My first ever waxer relocated to a whole another state and I was lost for sometime. I tried to become a regular for European Wax but their service and work did not mix well with me. I am currently located at #AspenHills #Rockville and I started looking for waxers. Wanting to find a place that feels like home and a safe space to be reborn every other 4-6 weeks. When I found Magdalen's page, the reviews automatically got my attention and decided to book being that she was 13-15 min away. The BEST decision I've made all year. When you enter, this particular smell that its so deliciously delicate welcomes you. Warning, in the beginning you will be confused and nervous because her method is so different from what everyone else is doing. But trust me when I say that it's less painful and more effective. I have thick hair and it grows really fast but after my first visit with Magdalen I noticed about only 60% of my hair growing back. Which is crazy for the amount of hair I used to grow with the other waxer. She warned me about growing less hair and less pain but you just have to book for the experience and for finding a home. They kept asking me if I wanted a bottled water but I kept declining since I had one in my purse. They were so eager to make sure I was taken care of. The guy that did my mani pedi was so friendly. He's half white half Vietnamese. He was one of the nicest male manicurists I've ever met. I like that this place is kinda secluded behind a McDonalds/gas station. There are a lot of free parking spots and not many people seem to come to this area, so it'd be easy to get a mani pedi appointment on the spot.

I requested we do the pedi first to have enough time for the nails to dry (I was wearing boots). One of the other techs said, "we don't update our website." That's not ok. I argued with them and they and they agreed to accept the amount stated on the website. I paid by Zelle to the tech's personal account. I was not given a receipt. This argument over payment ruined the experience. I was expecting to become a regular at this place, but the payment process was so bad that I'd never go back. Their payment system problems could have been legitimate, but you can't run a business like this. I mean, they didn't even appear to charge sales tax, but I can't say that for sure because I didn't get a receipt. The pedicure was great, but the payment aspect was unprofessional. It's 2025, it's not hard to accept credit cards. I can't recommend this place at all.

One note to add, I did NOT feel rushed at any point during my appointment. Ferry took her TIME to make sure she was performing work that I wanted. Consistent questions and acknowledgements that I was content with the progress. I saw a few customers request a walk in while getting my hair done, so I know it wasn't because the place wasn't as desirable. I got my perm redone, mens haircut, and my eyebrows waxed. All turned out fantastic. This is a one-stop salon which is also fantastic. I scheduled an appointment for a facial afterwards. Prices are extremely reasonable. I got them done in salons or just did them by myself and tweezed the hell out of them. When i first started going to Valencia, she assured me that she would be able to fix them, but told me that I couldn't touch them in order for her to make them grow out. It took a couple months but she made my eyebrows grow out to their full length and completely reshaped them to make them look amazing. I get compliments on my eyebrows at least 2 times a day.
