The guy, who we found out later to be the owner, went through each menu item, telling us how they get the ingredients and how everything is prepared. All the seafood is brought in fresh and it is Upscale that freezes it themselves, only to thaw the day of preparation. Some of their sauces, like the tartar sauce and remoulade sauce, are homemade. My dad said it may have been the best crab cake sandwich he has ever had. The crab cake was all jumbo lump crab and perfectly crispy on the outside. They also loved the fried shrimp and french fries. My brother always says you know it's a good french fry if it does not need ketchup and he did not need ketchup for these fries.
