For $10 each entree was A LOT of food! Got items off the lunch menu.. Interestingly the low mein comes with rice.. looks like a family owned business.. recommended!

Fake lobster lo mein. With imitation crab meat and crawfish.

Quick, quality food and service. Super friendly. The food is about average to above average for the Chinese for the area.

The mooshi pork and kung pao chicken had little flavor. Didn't like the texture of the chicken- tasted like leftover scraps with breading.

No. 1 Chinese is my favorite in the beach area. Took a while to find one we liked with consistently good food.

We called in at 5:22pm and it is currently 6:25pm as I'm writing this review. We were told 20-30…read moreminutes and it's been over an hour. Unacceptable, and plus, it doesn't help when the kid up front just says it's not ready yet. Of course it's not ready yet. Now we just finished eating all the food. One word: Horrible. We ordered a lot: Kung pow chicken, General Tso's chicken, Mooshi pork, curry beef, beef lo mein, pepper beef, combo fried rice, orange chicken, beef broccoli. Everything was terrible. They had all the time in the world to make all of our dishes decent but they did not. The orange chicken and General Tso chicken were absolutely hard. It seemed like they use premade or pre-cut piece of chicken because they're all the same shape and the texture was hard as a rock. The curry beef was basically as if you just got the golden curry packs from an Asian store, but watered it down so much. The lo mein was very mushy and the only thing that was redeemable about it was the large amount of beef that they did put in. However, it's sad how the beef and broccoli and the pepper beef hardly had any beef. To top it off what made it worse was how the combination fried rice did not have any color. It was just a bland thing with barely any type of umami in it. Plus the rice just felt like it was regular hard-boiled rice instead of fluffy rice that was properly stir-fried. If you're traveling from out of town for vacation here and are craving Chinese food, this is not the place. You will not be getting good quality Chinese food. This is worse than even Panda Express and if you can get better, Chinese takeout at Panda Express than a local joint here, then what's the point of going to the local joint the first place.

The food is truly amazing! Family owned, everyone is so friendly. Call early to place your take out…read moreorder - they get very busy!

Where to begin......beef on a stick and chicken on a stick apps....both overcooked so bad that I can only assume the chef went outside for a smoke break while they were submerged in old cooking oil. 1 bite of each and into the trash. Kung Pao Chicken - I asked for white meat and just peanuts and scallions. I was told "no" because that would require "too much chicken" in the dish if he couldn't load it up with other veggies. We settled on just onions. It was like eating chicken in soy sauce water. No flavor, chicken was chewy and gross. Into the trash. The pan fried dumplings - store bought dumplings that were cheap and had no flavor. At least these were edible, but I could only manage 3 before they too went into the garbage. Bad enough so far? Here's the worst part. Hot and Sour Soup - was so thick and coagulated you could literally cut it with a knife. And it was hot, making it even more disgusting. My son tried it and immediately got up to spit it out and go brush his teeth. I literally spooned some out and it sat in my bowl like it was a flan. I've never seen anything like it. Straight to the trash. And finally, you can't mess up fried rice, right? WRONG. We opened the container and the rice had a grey color I've never seen in food before. See attached picture. I studied it up close because I was so curious how another human would "cook" that and send it out the door with a customer. I refused to even try a bite it was so nasty. How this place remains open is a mystery. This was top 3 worst dining experiences ever. Shame shame China Chef.

You would think that was all of those different meats in it would be flavorful, but it absolutely had no flavor or taste at all. We got the spring rolls and they were really mushy! And they didn't put any soy sauce, sweet-and-sour, hot mustard, duck sauce in the bag to help with the flavoring at all, and now that I think about it, no Fortune cookies! We won't be going back!!
