We've been to this restaurant before but I don't recall being blown away. This time it totally hit the spot on all counts! Excellent flavors! I don't have a photo of it, but the chicken pineapple curry (red curry) was absolutely phenomenal - so tasty! The pad see ew is a noodle dish which we typically get - fresh rice noodles and also perfectly prepared. Fried rice and another curry noodle dish were also both excellent. The dumplings were a bit over priced in my opinion, but the flavors were on point. We enjoyed every dish.

The Secret Sauce Thai Restaurant in Rehoboth may very well be the best Thai spot in all of Delaware. It's run by people actually from Thailand, and the food is as authentic and flavorful as any I've had anywhere. I have visited this restaurant several times over the last year and it's always exceptional. Today, I started with the beef salad and followed it with the red curry chicken, both cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor at a four-out-of-five spice level. If you're at the beach, don't miss this gem you won't regret it.

A really nice find for us. Even though many people have called this the "culinary coast" IMHO there is a tremendous shortage of good Asian restaurants. Secret Sauce helps fill in that space! Even on a busy Sunday evening, the service was attentive & the food was delicious. We started with chicken egg rolls that were crispy & the chicken larb which was perfectly seasoned. We also got drunken noodles with chicken & crispy tofu with veggies. It was our first time there, but can't wait to go back & try the curries!

My husband and I popped in for some Asian food. We started with edamame in garlic and chili oil and a vegetable roll wrapped in rice paper and topped with a "secret sauce." Both were delicious; the edamame savory and spicy and the roll fresh with crisp veggies and slightly sweet sauce. My husband ordered the Chicken Larb for his entree. It was a spicy minced chicken dish served atop fresh veggies (carrots, cucumbers, etc). It was lightly spiced and light on the stomach. I ordered a vegetable soup with tofu. I believe the broth may have been chicken stock in that there was quite a bit of oil (i.e. chicken juices) in the soup. The taste was like a lemony chicken vegetable soup. The broccoli and other veggies were al dente and the tofu melted in my mouth. It was a delicious light treat!

They have a handful of entrees, which looked great, but my party ordered a bunch of small plates to share amongst ourselves, which I feel is the best way to enjoy the menu. We had the Toragashi Tuna, Soup Dumplings, Crab Rangoon, Wok-Fried Green Beans, and Spicy Cucumbers. Most of the menu items have heat and spice, so if you're intolerant to spicy foods be sure to mention it to your server. Speaking of whom, the staff is exceptional. The host was very accommodating and charming. Very professional yet friendly. The server was excellent -- very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and cocktails. The chef brought out our food and checked on us personally to make sure we were enjoying the food. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, but didn't hover around as some tend to do. The ambiance of the restaurant is very chic and trendy. The lighting is low but not too dim, the decor is tasteful and modern. They have a bar near the entrance and 12 tables (and a table/booth combination). The restrooms are gender neutral and single occupancy. As you might imagine for a vacation spot, the small restaurant is quite busy. Reservations are recommended and can be made on their website.

We stopped in about 1-2 hours before closing so when we were seated, they informed us of the last call timing for ordering food, dessert and alcohol. The lighting is dim and romantic for sure. The music was a vibe (we overheard it was just a "lounge" playlist but it was a good one! The lightning could have been better - it was a little flashy at times for dinner. When it was time to order, we were stuck between 2 appetizers and ended up taking the waiter's recommendation on the crab Rangoons and are so glad we did. Best we ever had in our entire lives. Made with real crab - makes all the difference! They were soft with a light outer crunch. Perfect consistency! 10/10! I ordered the Pad Thai (slightly less spicy) and I'm glad I did. Our waiter was very informative on how the spice scale here worked and we were appreciative of that! The only issue we had was that it seemed like due to coming later in the evening - the servers were kind of rushing everyone along. They were helping eachother bus tables, take checks, etc and in doing so ran our card for another tables check. The bartender was able to void it in time but they were not super apologetic about it. Again, they were very nice but I think their main concern was just getting out of there at a certain time. We had one of our best meals of the week here and will definitely visit again in the future.

Tasted like old boiled chicken on top of lettuce and onions - zero flavor and definitely not larb. The photos look so good online but they were overcooked, bland & looked like the veggies were cooked from frozen packets. 0/10 The wonton soup water chicken water (not broth), the wontons were ready to dissolve before I could eat them, and this dish also lacked any flavor at All. OR have never had actual Thai food to compare this experience to. Can't tell, and don't want to know, but I want to forget this meal as fast as I can.

It has the look and feeling that you are in Japan and not in a cheap, tourist way. The location is really neat, clean, and sanitary. Additionally, they went the next step as we were seated in a table with chairs but the chairs all had soft, pillow cushions, providing extra comfort while dining. I love that you can see the kitchen while they cook as the aromas of the delicious ramen are being prepared. If you see the bathroom there, do not be alarmed to see that their toilet has a bidet set-up. They also have toilet paper if you have never used a bidet before. Now to the best part, the food! There are two dishes I highly recommend: Bulgogi Ramen and the chicken Katsu with the bulgogi rice bowl a good follow-up. The ramen is delicious with the meat being tender, flavorful and the sweet bulgogi taste seeps into the broth, adding extra flavor. The noodles taste fresh and hand-made as well! The kimchi provides a nice counterbalance to the sweetness of the meat and broth. The bulgogi rice bowl is good too for you do not want ramen for the day. However, the chicken katsu is delicious!!!! The chicken is so crispy that you can hear the crunch sound as you bite into it. It is cooked to perfect, thin, and uniform throughout. The rice is piping hot, cooked to perfection, and a lot is provided. The cabbage provided is a nice, refreshing counterbalance to the richness of the katsu and rice. Lastly, get a boba tea drink. The flavors are delicious like the lychee and the boba is not chewy that you will have to bite and bite. One bite and it dissolves in your mouth and is in your stomach. Lastly, the service. Gabriel was phenomenal! He was attentive, gave great recommendations, and made my family and I feel welcomed like we were eating at his house. He was funny, interactive, and accommodating. Overall, great server. Kevin (the host ) was phenomenal as well. He was so humble to come by and serve us our food. He never left us unattended. Last but not least, John (the owner) is hands down one of the best owners of a restaurant I have seen. He is kind, funny, compassionate, and took his time to interact with and talk to all the patrons. He made you feel like family, asking my family and I our names and making great small talk. He was open to talking about himself and his inspiration about his restaurant even when the place was about to close. Owners who stay late near closing time on a Sunday evening, not many do that. Living in Virginia, I will miss this place. Their food is one of the best that I have had and I will be counting down the days I can come back to Rohoboth Beach to bathe in their ramen and chomp into the katsu once again!

We were captivated by the magnitude of terrific reviews Miyagi got, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was unassuming, located in a small plaza next-door to the Safeway grocery store. When we walk through the door, we were immediately greeted into an authentically Asian atmosphere. The restaurant was long and narrow with the kitchen visible to guests. We were seated at a cozy booth. We started with an order of the purple, sweet potato fries, and they were delicious--hot and fresh, tempura style. Each of us ordered a different Ramen bowl. The portions were healthy. The bowls were like a picture in a magazine, so colorful and varied. Unable to finish our entire bowls, we asked for takeout containers. When the server returned, he clearly directed us to separate the noodles and the broth. His attention and concern was impressive. Miyagi is a must in Rehoboth Beach. Once you're tired of eating crabs, stop by for a remarkable bowl of soup!
