The restaurant had a strong smell of cleaning products upon entering, which was a bit off-putting. While the space itself is very cute, the interior decor isn't particularly inviting--but that's not the most important factor. Service was a highlight; the staff was attentive and accommodating, even with our large group. We were also able to split checks by party, which was convenient. As for the food, I ordered the Panang Curry, and my mom had the drunken noodles with tofu. I also got a Thai tea, which was disappointing--it was packed with ice and ended up tasting watered down. The Panang Curry had great flavor but was much thinner in consistency than expected, more like a soup than a true curry. The drunken noodles, unfortunately, were overcooked, mushy, and overly salty. While the service was great, the food did not meet my expectations.

What a pleasant surprise. Behind unassuming storefront lies a Thai treasure. Open the door and Ms. Kim treats you with the "Wai" Thai Greeting. My chicken pad Thai was overflowing with noodles and fresh ingredients. My dish was perfectly seasoned and cooked perfectly with medium heat. Exemplary Thai food and gracious service.

Stopped by for lunch. They have excellent lunch specials, with good sized portions. We had the pineapple curry and the pad thai. Both were delicious! Flavors on point. Service was very friendly. The seating is comfortable and roomy, they do not pack in the tables. Will definitely be back.

If you're expecting a full size meal on takeout, do not do it! Terrible small portions even when you pay extra for extra vegetables. When I called them they were disrespectful and dismissive. We've been going here for a year and a half and they said they never fill up their bins with coconut milk and that is not true. They are liars! Their portions are ridiculously small in takeout and especially compared to if you go there in person as you will see they have more than enough portions for an extra meal when you dine in for the same price. They have raised their prices and cut their portions for take out by half. Look elsewhere for Thai food as you will be disappointed here! My picture is from their container as I got it home when previously it was easily three-quarter filled even though they dispute that adamantly. Again disrespectful and arrogant!

THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE TODAY! I drove around for about 15 minutes trying to figure out what I wanted for lunch. I'm not one to complain , but today I will. As I arrived in the parking lot I was super excited for the pork jerky, which Isn't even jerky it's deep fried pork chop strips. This time it was just deep fried batter. I also ordered the teriyaki, the sliced chicken was not properly battered. Three slices of chicken clumped together . Moist raw batter in the middle. The teriyaki sauce tasted more like a GINGER GRAVY. Very lumpy. Last time going to this place. There is a new Thai restaurant two miles south on the north bound side next to Wawa. NEXT!

The broth (medium heat) was very flavorful and the soup had lots of good, well cooked (not mushy and not too hard) veggies. I had a special seasonal item - Heavenly Salad - billed as addictive and delicious. When it was served, it looked like a simple fruit salad. But it was truly delicious. The sweetness of the fruit combined with spiciness added to the juice, the cherry tomatoes. Everything blended together. The server said this is something served in her home town in Thailand. Really good. Light (mostly fruit), but very filling. Also includes nuts. My partner had the drunken noodles (medium spice) with pork. Very successful dish. Delicious. Huge portion. We also got a side of broccoli. I thought the broccoli was undercooked and was kind of "meh". My partner thought it was good. The service was very good and the place is bright and comfortable.

They have a handful of entrees, which looked great, but my party ordered a bunch of small plates to share amongst ourselves, which I feel is the best way to enjoy the menu. We had the Toragashi Tuna, Soup Dumplings, Crab Rangoon, Wok-Fried Green Beans, and Spicy Cucumbers. Most of the menu items have heat and spice, so if you're intolerant to spicy foods be sure to mention it to your server. Speaking of whom, the staff is exceptional. The host was very accommodating and charming. Very professional yet friendly. The server was excellent -- very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and cocktails. The chef brought out our food and checked on us personally to make sure we were enjoying the food. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, but didn't hover around as some tend to do. The ambiance of the restaurant is very chic and trendy. The lighting is low but not too dim, the decor is tasteful and modern. They have a bar near the entrance and 12 tables (and a table/booth combination). The restrooms are gender neutral and single occupancy. As you might imagine for a vacation spot, the small restaurant is quite busy. Reservations are recommended and can be made on their website.

We stopped in about 1-2 hours before closing so when we were seated, they informed us of the last call timing for ordering food, dessert and alcohol. The lighting is dim and romantic for sure. The music was a vibe (we overheard it was just a "lounge" playlist but it was a good one! The lightning could have been better - it was a little flashy at times for dinner. When it was time to order, we were stuck between 2 appetizers and ended up taking the waiter's recommendation on the crab Rangoons and are so glad we did. Best we ever had in our entire lives. Made with real crab - makes all the difference! They were soft with a light outer crunch. Perfect consistency! 10/10! I ordered the Pad Thai (slightly less spicy) and I'm glad I did. Our waiter was very informative on how the spice scale here worked and we were appreciative of that! The only issue we had was that it seemed like due to coming later in the evening - the servers were kind of rushing everyone along. They were helping eachother bus tables, take checks, etc and in doing so ran our card for another tables check. The bartender was able to void it in time but they were not super apologetic about it. Again, they were very nice but I think their main concern was just getting out of there at a certain time. We had one of our best meals of the week here and will definitely visit again in the future.

It has the look and feeling that you are in Japan and not in a cheap, tourist way. The location is really neat, clean, and sanitary. Additionally, they went the next step as we were seated in a table with chairs but the chairs all had soft, pillow cushions, providing extra comfort while dining. I love that you can see the kitchen while they cook as the aromas of the delicious ramen are being prepared. If you see the bathroom there, do not be alarmed to see that their toilet has a bidet set-up. They also have toilet paper if you have never used a bidet before. Now to the best part, the food! There are two dishes I highly recommend: Bulgogi Ramen and the chicken Katsu with the bulgogi rice bowl a good follow-up. The ramen is delicious with the meat being tender, flavorful and the sweet bulgogi taste seeps into the broth, adding extra flavor. The noodles taste fresh and hand-made as well! The kimchi provides a nice counterbalance to the sweetness of the meat and broth. The bulgogi rice bowl is good too for you do not want ramen for the day. However, the chicken katsu is delicious!!!! The chicken is so crispy that you can hear the crunch sound as you bite into it. It is cooked to perfect, thin, and uniform throughout. The rice is piping hot, cooked to perfection, and a lot is provided. The cabbage provided is a nice, refreshing counterbalance to the richness of the katsu and rice. Lastly, get a boba tea drink. The flavors are delicious like the lychee and the boba is not chewy that you will have to bite and bite. One bite and it dissolves in your mouth and is in your stomach. Lastly, the service. Gabriel was phenomenal! He was attentive, gave great recommendations, and made my family and I feel welcomed like we were eating at his house. He was funny, interactive, and accommodating. Overall, great server. Kevin (the host ) was phenomenal as well. He was so humble to come by and serve us our food. He never left us unattended. Last but not least, John (the owner) is hands down one of the best owners of a restaurant I have seen. He is kind, funny, compassionate, and took his time to interact with and talk to all the patrons. He made you feel like family, asking my family and I our names and making great small talk. He was open to talking about himself and his inspiration about his restaurant even when the place was about to close. Owners who stay late near closing time on a Sunday evening, not many do that. Living in Virginia, I will miss this place. Their food is one of the best that I have had and I will be counting down the days I can come back to Rohoboth Beach to bathe in their ramen and chomp into the katsu once again!

We were captivated by the magnitude of terrific reviews Miyagi got, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was unassuming, located in a small plaza next-door to the Safeway grocery store. When we walk through the door, we were immediately greeted into an authentically Asian atmosphere. The restaurant was long and narrow with the kitchen visible to guests. We were seated at a cozy booth. We started with an order of the purple, sweet potato fries, and they were delicious--hot and fresh, tempura style. Each of us ordered a different Ramen bowl. The portions were healthy. The bowls were like a picture in a magazine, so colorful and varied. Unable to finish our entire bowls, we asked for takeout containers. When the server returned, he clearly directed us to separate the noodles and the broth. His attention and concern was impressive. Miyagi is a must in Rehoboth Beach. Once you're tired of eating crabs, stop by for a remarkable bowl of soup!
