This seemed to be our forced option, but it turned into a very pleasant surprise. The vibe was great. It was completely empty when we got there. The owner was so kind and incredibly efficient even though a large group came in all at once. She even reminded us to call our moms in honor of Mother's Day. The music isn't too loud, there's a good amount of seating, and there are fun little games you can play if you aren't reading or working. I ordered an Iced Coffee with cream, vanilla, and cinnamon, an everything bagel with cream cheese, and a blueberry muffin. I am unsure if anything was freshly baked in house, but I enjoyed each item that I received. To be fair, I ordered three items that I normally love to eat/drink, but this shop did not let me down with my classics. If you're ever in Westcliffe, give this place a try. I paid an extra $1 for whipped cream and I couldn't really tell it was there. I may not have set my expectations right when ordering it, but it was just okay. It's a very small shop, not a whole lot of room. Music is playing so it isn't deafening silence. There is plenty of seating outside, which is great when the weather permits it. The customer service was not very present. There was one person working the whole store so I'm not going to bash it with a lack of effort. Effort was certainly present, it's hard to run a place alone. But it took a long time for us to get our drinks.
