Unplanned walk in for a gel manicure, they happily accepted. I really enjoyed the manicure in terms of speed and quality. The prep was fine since it actually lasted for four weeks! My only concern is the cleanliness. The tools used on my nails were very dusty. And at the end, my hands were all dusty from the filing. There was no opportunity to wash/rinse. read more

For a walk-in (no appointment needed) spot with a bottom line price of $30 for a pedicure I must say that I left here quite happy. But let me explain. With prices having jumped at seemingly all nail salons I'll admit that caring for my toes is something that's gone by the wayside. Even I was finding them difficult to look at. As my friend and I walked the length of Solano Avenue we kept pausing in front of the array of nail salons but this was the only one with a price we liked. The salon here is rather no-frills and for those who are used to and have strong opinions about exactly what a mani or pedi should look and feel like I'm thinking this may not be your spot. I just needed my toes cleaned up, nails trimmed, polish removed, and a new coat put on. I left quite pleased with the service provided. And now I have a new excuse to head to Solano Avenue. read more

I called to see if they could accommodate me for a pedicure and manicure. When I came in I was warmly greeted and was told that they were getting the massage chair ready for me. The place was clean and the massage chair was really nice. Both ladies that helped me were kind and did a great job. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back. It's also a bonus that parking on the side street was fairly easy to find. read more

Go else where on the block there are a lot of shops that know how to respect customers time. She has become very unreliable and unprofessional. She will schedule an appointment and not show up or let you know she playing pickleball or traveling, Her worker know she's not available and will let you sit and wait until you ask is she coming in today. Lena gave me an impeccable pedicure last Saturday 1/11/25. She removed brown stains from my toenails and worked around my ingrown nails in my big toes with expert precision. The nail salon is all Opi, as am I. The polish job is stunning! Prices were reasonable. I'd suggest calling for an appointment. Definitely a five star place ! read more

Didn't feel comfortable myself during my entire time in the salon. Felt pressured to go with their gel x when I explained I just want acrylic. Once I said I would like to stick with acrylic. The nail artist looked disappointed in my decision on wanting to do acrylic. Few minutes later decides to switch nail technician and proceeds to butcher my nails. They asked if I liked them and honestly if I'm going to pay money I would like them to look nice but once I said no it felt like everytime they would talk crap. So disappointed on how they came out. They couldn't even remove all the white paint they used for the French tip of my nail. Plus I found it ridiculous when I was asked what I would like I was given a dirty look. Definitely wouldn't want to come back not just because of the service but their craftsmanship. ‍ read more

Absolutely the best mid-range (and better than a lot of expensive) mani/pedi I've had in a long time. I went today as a walk in (first time there) and it was super clean and chill. Little snacks and tea while I waited all of like 5 min to be seated (at noon on Sunday). Their chairs are new and comfy, plus they're not made for someone six feet tall where the massager is on the back of my head half the time . Will definitely go back. read more

Honestly they deserve no stars. I brought my client in.That in special needs and they pumped her with mimosas. They called her a big baby several times and made fun of her and she's sixty four years old. Then they said she was super spoiled a bunch of times I cut them off and told them how I felt. When we left there, I was so upset. Please ban this place.They do not service special needs people. Always great service here! Ive been getting gel x extensions and fills here for the last few months and none have ever popped off. They last for weeks and look great. I came in for a gel manicure on my natural nails, but 1 finger was chipped. I asked if they could do a single extension, they recommended to use builder gel instead. At first, it looked fine, but after it cured, it was noticeably thick and not shaped very well. As a result this one fell off after a week. I also tried to point out that the shaping on my nails looked inconsistent from one finger to the next. The technician told me it was just because my finger widths are different & it's impossible to make them look the same. I understand that natural nails are harder to make uniform (compared to extensions), but I was disappointed with the lack of effort. The gel manicure itself was okay. I got a pink color with chrome powder, it lasted about two weeks. Overall, for around $50, I feel like you get what you pay for. It wasn't a terrible experience, but the attention to detail, especially with the shaping and the builder gel, was lacking. The service was friendly though, and you get a stamp card for every visit.

I will say, I would probably give 4.5 stars if I could, just because the pedicure took a long time as the girl doing it was on phone calls/FaceTimes the whole time and kept texting on her phone. That was strange to me, but the gel pedicure has lasted much longer than at the previous place I went to so I'm happy about that. I also did have to wait 20ish minutes after my scheduled reservation time which wasn't ideal. Overall a good experience and will definitely consider going back for my nails again!

My first time coming in I saw Jojo, then Hannah, then Cherry, all great work. Today I saw Lee who is also the manager and watching her work I was in awe. She was doing my builder gel mani while booking appointments, managing walk ins, checking out customers and answering calls texts, I don't know how she does it all without error but I can see why she's in charge. They are quite busy, so I recommend booking an appointment and coming during slower hours (it's never empty though!) sometimes I find myself waiting after walking in on a weekday afternoon or morning even because their customers always come back. No matter what they always find a way to get me in. They are very transparent with pricing, they will tell you how much everything is, add ons shape change etc. and it is good that they do this. This is not a cheap salon, they charge fairly for their quality of work. The employees seem happy.

This is my first negative review, but I am extremely upset and disappointed. I came to have my nails after a friend highly recommended this salon. My nails were wrapped in acetone, and then I was repeatedly left alone while two or three white customers were served before me. No one checked on me or explained why I was waiting for over an hour . However, as I was leaving, the woman at the first chair possibly the owner blamed the delay on my acrylic taking a long time to remove. Please do not talk down to me like I am stupid. The acrylic was not the problem the terrible service, unfair treatment, and complete lack of communication were the problem. As a person of color, I felt ignored, disrespected, and discriminated against. No customer deserves to be treated this way. read more

The first time I came to this salon, I had a great experience. Lena did my nails, and they lasted over a month, so I was very happy with the results. Yesterday was my second appointment, but I was seen by a different technician. By the end of the service, Lena had to fix one of the nails, which made me feel that something hadn't been done correctly. I still paid for the service. This last time I came, I had one of the ladies take my old set off since the nail tech laid acrylic over two lifting nails on my first visit and they ended up creating a worse problem. Great, I needed a refresh anyway. She proceeds to put SUPER tiny tips on my nails, which makes them look thin on the sides like I like but it created terrible ingrown nails because it squeezed the sides of the nails. Ultimately I picked a solid red color and she charged me $25 more than the listed price. No reason for it since it's a simple acrylic set with one color. This happened last time and I assumed it was the glitter color was more but it seems she decides on the fly what to charge. Now, three months later, my nails are so thin and have 5 huge pieces of acrylic still stuck to them. I've since moved away and found a new nail tech who refuses to pull them off entirely because they are causing tearing and bleeding on my natural nail. I have religiously done my nails my whole life so three months of this is upsetting and ridiculous. Lastly, they were playing a movie with full blown sex scenes in the salon one of the times when I went and it was so uncomfortable. She apologized after a few minutes of it but continued being standoffish and awkward to me, which was another part of the bad experience. I came back one last time to give them a chance since I liked the end result and color selection, but I made a huge mistake returning.
