I've been feeling discouraged and unsatisfied with many nail salons around the area because why am I paying $40+ for a rushed pedicure where the techs are barely doing the bare minimum?! This review is for a pedicure. They have a menu of pedicure services that range from $35 to $45. I took the one in the middle. It's supposed to include the following products: - Herbal mineral bath - Liquid body lufta - Grapefruit body bar - Icedancer invigorating leg gel - Firewalker foot cream - Sole solution foot treatment - Baobab body butter The lufta is a scrub product and the accompanying scrub massage was wonderful. I think the grapefruit body bar was added with it but I'm not sure. As far as sole and foot exfoliation goes that's about it. There's no pumice scrub and for sure the Sole solution foot treatment product wasn't used on the sole. I just got a dab (imagine squeezing out enough product out of a tube that's the size of a dime) of it under my right big toe that was shared with my right shin and top of left foot. The cream was generous, definitely enough moisturize the whole lower leg and foot. No massage, just rub in. Use of the leg gel and body butter was a tube squeeze size of a quarter each, both just rubbed in. No additional foot massage. The two ladies were very nice and the store was clean and all the equipment looked to be well-maintained. Color options are pretty limited (brands OPI, Essie, Sation, Verity and a couple other brands I don't recognize and one had no brand listed). Overall, I don't think the pedicure was worth $40 but the service was provided with courtesy and friendliness. (Not sure what a basic pedicure consists of but the sign does show a price of $28+.) read more

Terrible place I do not recommend anyone going here the lady, the owner of the establishment. She is a racial profiler and it's very unfortunate. I went there this past Saturday to get my nails done. I called in before hand. I let them know that I was seeking to get a Mani Pedi gel services. Upon arrival, I just assumed that they had standard Pedicures and manicures or whatever because I didn't see any type of sign that usually have the services they offered nor did they ask. She going to do my nails and I really wasn't liking them but I just said let me just wait. Let her finish and do her work and go from there after however, I noticed my nails and I wasn't really pleased with them but I said I'll wait till I get outside to see how they look in the light before I make a big deal because I also was pressed on time and had somewhere to be now when it comes to my nails she did my nails but they're very bulky . I don't like bulky mind you these are my real nails. All I asked was for an overlay which I've never had an issue with my usual tell nail technician, but she seemed like it was complicated. She kept telling me know, then she just stood there and stopped and didn't even proceed on my nails. I was just like well are you going to finish my nails or what are you doing cause you're just standing there and then she goes well. You didn't say anything I said I've already spoken. That was the end of the conversation, and finally she just stared at me, and then proceeded to do my nails, which was beyond awkward. So next thing you know two white women walks in. They both greet them with a warm welcome, completely different then how they treated me. I noticed that they gave them a pamphlet to look through for services, something else that wasn't offered. Even the water when getting my feet done, my feet weren't even fully covered! I just assumed it was a water shortage and wanted to just be in and out being I was already starting to feel a little uncomfortable. But stayed being I really needed my nails done for event that evening and no one else was available. I held back tears because I was so hurt but didn't want to make a scene like they always expect us to or treat us as But to witness two white women get treat with exemplary service, and me be treated poorly was hurtful. My gems on my nails all came off that same day not even two hours later. The lady snatched my money out of my hand and I wasn't even sure how I was going to pay. I just politely ignored it and walked out. Once I went in the car I sat for a second and called my best friend and explained to him. At that moment realized NO I will not be treated like this. Went back inside and asked them to fix it. Being I paid $105 and the lady further insulted me by saying well these are our prices it's expensive. I looked at her in distraught! Respectfully told her money isn't the issue, being I spend at least $140-60 when I get my nails done. But for the basic, terrible service I was confused! Long story short I asked if they can re-do them and she told me no to come back another day. Being I dislike confrontation and was already highly frustrated I said I can Tuesday because my schedule is busy. Now I'm currently in the hospital due to a hit and run and and couldn't make my 3:30 and called asking if they can fix it tomorrow so I don't have to spend another $100+ to get my nails done. She yelled on the phone and told me no! No sympathy or anything just rude and racist. To my beautiful melanin queens I wouldn't recommend this place! Respectfully I asked could they do another day being Thursday because I have a trip leaving first thing Friday morning and she hung up in my face. Some ppl are just rude and I couldn't even say all I really wanted because I'm having a hard time in pain just typing this. Any who there are much better nail techs out there. Her shop is no frills but it is clean.I have never gotten an infection like I did at the fancy spa like place I went to once in Mill Valley.
