Was recommend this place by my boss to sit down with Earnest as a walk in on a Saturday. Earnest was not present so I sat down with Brenton the owner. He did not speak to me through out the process of me being a client in his chair and it was one of the worst cuts I've ever walked out of a barbershop having. Patchy, lines were visible and behind one ear was unevenly trimmed but the other was untouched. It was so bad, I wore a beanie to cover his work until the following day; I scheduled another cut to fix all his mistakes. Wont be back and don't recommend. read more

So far so good . Took my son for first time here one day after Xmas 2024. Strictly walk ins only. This barbershop is behind the Caspers hot dog place. It is literally the last establishment on the freeway 680 corridor. On yelp it doesn't high light they it takes credit or debit cards but it does accept them. The final price for the cut was $40, I added a $5 tip since it was the holidays and I learned that when you tip consistently, businesses remember. I met the barber and he was vey nice . The place has so much parking. The wait was about an hr and was told that the moment we walked in . There was 2-3 person ahead of him. We were regulars at Shaky Razor then LUXE in Dublin they just kept raising and raising their prices - I cannot afford $55 for a boys cut! This was reasonable next time we will go to Danville barbershop in DIABLO RD and decide what service and cuts are better. For Teagues there is a reason they have been in business for 30 + years. read more

Mr. T constantly alluded to putting money on my head for creating a grooming service app endorsed by local celebrities and had his barber cut me on purpose in order to prove a point extremely unprofessional and it became infected. Barber tone was carrying out orders and acted tired during follow up appointments where he would drop the blade prior to shaving so it would not heal properly. In addition clippers are not cleaned in between cuts very unhygienic-unprofessional-and the epitome of a peon barber shop. Barber Tone gave me a deep abrasian after asking for a ride to work from Oakland after refusing and let another client ahead of me prior also dropped a blade on the ground and used it on me during my last hair cut. After refusing to give him a ride to his place of work he proceeded to take another client before my scheduled appointment and said he had something planned for me prior to cutting me and deeply and Immediately saying I didn't mean to do that. Came to this barbershop a while ago, but forgot to leave the review. Was greeted very rudely by one of the barbers who was standing outside, the barber himself wasnt that rude, but the cut was horrendous. I asked for a blowout with a tow taper, and got a a high taper with a literal bowl cut and wayy too much bulk on the back. I asked the barber to cut it down a little bit more, and he told me thats what a blowout taper was ( mind you i have gotten this cut for the past 2 years and it looked nothing like the reference photos i gave him) and after some time he agreed to cut it down more. When he turned my chair around to cut the back, the the men who were sitting at the table started laughing at me ( which I see why considering how bad the haircut looked) which made me really uncomfortable, and was extremely unprofessional. Called ahead to see if they had walk in availability. Got there and was greeted warmly, eventually was able to get in a chair. The barber that I saw (PJ) actively listened to understand what I wanted and asked questions to fill in the gaps. Friendly, clean atmosphere that made me feel like I belonged. Phil knows how to talk to teenage boys and figure out what they want. It's funny because to me all the teenage boys cuts look the same.. but I guess they know it's different. My son loves his barber visits. First time I can say that. Usually it's a challenge to get him to go. Now he books it himself. I've heard great things in town about a few of the barbers here. Even though this place has mixed reviews, I had high hopes because the pictures looked really good. I was the only client in the shop the entire time I was there, so there was no need to rush. I told the barber to not touch the top, that I wanted a drop fade, and showed him a picture of what I wanted. Came in at 530 on a Wednesday afternoon and was helped immediately. I wish I could recall my barbers name but he was in back right corner. All the barbers here were doing solid looking cuts from What I saw while I was there. My barber listened to what I wanted and made sure as he went I was getting exactly what I wanted before I left. I left with a quality haircut with excellent customer service. From what I could find this is the only real barber shop in the area too. I've visited a few others but let without cuts. Shop was clean, everybody was friendly and the energy was on point. That said, the owner of the shop just butchered my beard that I didn't even ask him to line. He just started going at it and it was too late. Thought to myself well it's too late now, let's let we what he comes up with. My beard lines were clearly defined prior to him deciding to line my beard. He moved both the upper and lower line over 1/2", leaving me something that look like a cross between a chin strap and I don't know what. I saw it, cured and told him to stop, that I didn't want it like that. I just shaved it off. He then charged my full price and didn't even apologize. The bald fade he gave me is subpar @ best. I just finished softening the lines he left myself. I'd give the shop another try but not the owner. read more

After three attempts to make an appt, show up in person, and come back for an appt made just the day before only to find a locked door, I am giving up. My son had a very good haircut there the one time we were able to get in, so giving up on the place was not an easy decision.
